Don't even bother if you have a medium to wide foot or high arches. I'm normally a size 7, so I went with suggestions and ordered a 7.5. Nope, I couldn't squeeze my feet into the shoes without pain and a serious workout. So I tried a size 8, which made me look like I was wearing canoes on my feet! Plus they were still very uncomfortable. I had wanted a lightweight pair of converse, but these absolutely do not work for me.

Ouch! I wear between a size 7½-8. I wear a size 7 in the Converse Shoreline so I tried a size 7 in the Dainty. The heel fit fine, actually a little loose, but the toe box is extremely narrow and squeezed my toes, a lot. The Shoreline, oddly enough, fit much better than these. I cannot return them fast enough.

Feels like you're walking on the ground, but worse because your feet are inside a shoe. No support. No cushioning for the footbed.

I am so frustrated by these shoes! I love the sleeker style of these Chucks, but they do not come in half sizes. Their core colors only come in whole sizes, yet the seasonal colors (http://www.zappos.com/converse-chuck-taylor-all-star-dainty-seasonal-color-ox) come in whole and half sizes. So anyone in between is out of luck. It makes no sense.

NOT AS NICE or as comfortable as the original converse all stars....these are much narrower and the rubber cap rubs in a different spot on your toes..pretty disappointed. Next time back to the original all stars

I love converse and have several pairs. I ordered dainty in white and the “gray”. The gray fit perfectly. But the white are huge! And the laces won’t stay tight. So as you walk the shoes feel even bigger. I wish I could return them but I have worn them outside.

I’m a true size 9.5 but this sneaker was only available in 9 or 10. I ordered both & kept the sz9. My last pair which I’m still wearing is three years old. I wear them constantly. I will be surprised if these last three months. They are a cheap imitation of the solid converse sneakers I know and love. The canvas fabric is thin and stiff, the interior pad a sad excuse for a buffer between you and the street. Sneakers are not known for their arch support but these are ridiculously flat. I purchased a padded insert but it makes the shoes too small. In retrospect I should have kept the sz 10 and purchased a padded insert & arch. I unequivocally do not recommend these. Even at the sale price of $40 they are a rip off.

Out of the box, these were so very cute. What a disappointment when I tried them on! The size was good but they were very stiff, the edges painfully jabbed my heels and the inside felt like a board. Thankfully, I also ordered the Keds Kickstart and loved them.

I loved everything about these shoes from the color and light weight feel. I did not love how narrow they were and how short they felt. I have 8 pairs of Converse and all of them are a 7 and they all fit beautifully. These felt about a half size short and extremely narrow. Unfortunately, I ended up returning them.

The shoes were very uncomfortable and had blister on my toes and underneath my feet. I worn then on Saturday and wasn't able to wear a shoe for 2 days.

Tried it on on carpet; it felt OK. I usually need orthotics, so I put in the ones I was using in my old Chucks. The instant I walked outside on a hard surface (and of course now they're "worn"), I had stabbing pain in my toes and heel. Now six hours later--sitting most of the day, mind you--I have blisters on my big toe, the side of my foot, and back of my heel. These shoes are much narrower than standard Chucks, and if possible have even less support, which until now I did not think was possible. Absolutely useless shoes. Going to have to get rid of the somehow; a very expensive mistake.

Be warned, Converse has changed the sole of the shoe. They are very thin, no cushion on the heel, looks like you are wearing slippers because the outside band is half as thick as it use to be. That is terrible! I have been wearing Converse for over 20 years and now they change them? No more Converse for me!

These shoes are cute, but hurt so, so bad. To avoid excessive blisters, I have to wear socks...wearing socks makes them extremely tight. I went up a size (no half sizes) and it looked like I was wearing clown shoes, so I stuck with my regular size (7)thinking they'd stretch out. So far, no such luck.

I had to return this shoe because I generally wear a narrow shoe and can't find it...but this shoe is incredibly narrow and seemed "shorter" also. Zappos service is excellent...this is a Converse issue.
