These are great, after breaking them in for a couple of weeks. They are cute; I have always loved canvas shoes for spring, summer, and early fall. These Dainty's run narrow in width. However, I normally wear a size 7.5 comfortably, but I ordered a half-size down and I don't regret it. These shoes broke in real nice and are my favorite light weather shoe! I wouldn't have purchased a size up because once you break 'em in, they are a prefect fit (for me)! Great buy!

I love the style of this shoe. It's much more flattering than the traditional all-star. I typically wear between a 9.5 and 10; since a 9.5 was not an option I ordered a size 10 which was too big. I then tried a size 9 which was too small. I ended up ordering the slip-on version in a 9.5 and it fits perfectly and has a similar cut as the dainty.

I was pleased with the look of the sneaker. I was pleased with the speed at which they came. As of this writing, I have not worn my converse sneakers, so I cannot review the comfort. But just from trying them on, I don't think the sneaker would be something you would want to wear if you plan on doing a lot of walking. I will probably only wear them on certain occasions; like picnics in the park, to the mall, or family cook-outs.

I LOVE the Dainty All Stars. I have big feet (women's 11) so I feel a little clownish in regular Chuck Taylors (which I do wear for weightlifting with insoles). The cut of the Dainty Chuck Taylor All Stars is more feminine, which de-emphasizes my feet's length and provides more ankle mobility. I tried a pair of Vans for a while, but I came back to these after the Vans wore out in just a few months.

These "dainties" are the closest Converse comes to fitting my narrow foot. (With shorter laces) I can pull them up tight and they are comfortable - although the tongue puckers up a little. All in all they are great and I have them in several colors.

Definitely a narrow shoe; perhaps even more narrow than the other Chuck models. As a result of the narrow construction, I ordered a size up and they fit well. They are a bit long, but my heel doesn't slip at all, probably given the snug fit on the width. I so wish they'd make half sizes, since I'm a 7.5 I really think a 7.5 would fit perfectly, but I love the shoes, so a size 8 looking a bit longer on my foot is acceptable.

These are pretty narrow, just a very lightweight version of the basic Chuck. No arch support, or padding, but no worse than most ballet flats. Din’t Plan to run a marathon in them, but they’ll look cute with some of my funky summer dresses.

Size and fit were the same as always with Converse, which is to say, a size larger than I wear in other brands, but perfectly comfortable. I ended up returning these shoes only because the color listed as "charcoal" is really more of a taupe, more brown than gray.

Terrible experience. the fabric inside the heel wore out after about ten wearings, and the rubber poked through causing blisters. Won't ever wear converse again. Plus, runs large.

These shoes hurt if you walk around in them all day due to the thin soles. However, they look great and are comfortable if you are not too active. It takes about 1-2 years of almost daily wear for a hole to appear in the soles. I am happy with the quality.

I'm overall a 9 1/2 and the men's sizes differ (Converse) in that I must have a 7 1/2 to fit me, but a 10 to work in the Dainties. So they are made a little smaller. The 10 tends to be a little too big and the 9 is too small. So it's not the best fit for me but the look is so much more attractive to wear with casual clothes or even a dress. I wish they made the dainty line in more options.
