Very cute shoe but not for walking farther than the mailbox. Not only no support but not comfortable either. You can, however, admire yourself from a seated position. Too bad; back they go.

These are adorable, but way too small. I was excited that they didn't slip on my narrow heels and were nicely padded on the bottom, but sadly the the rest of the shoe was so tight I couldn't stand it. I am exchanging for the next size up and hoping the heel won't be much wider.

These shoes are super cute. They are designed and sized for women. However, they need to understand that not all women have narrow feet. These shoes were super tight in the toe box, uncomfortably tight. Such a shame because I was really looking forward to getting them. I would suggest the regular Chucks, unless you're super dainty.

I love these but should've ordered a half size up. They're a bit small and therefore not very comfortable on my toes. I've worn them a couple of times so I can't return them. Wish I had realized sooner and made an exchange! Otherwise, they're cute and well-made.

When I first saw this shoe on Zappos, I had trouble figuring out what the real differences were between the "Dainty" and the regular low-top Converses. I put the photos side-by-side and I saw small differences like the stitching and smaller tongue. I had tried on the regular low tops at DSW and loved how comfortable they were, but decided to order these instead because they looked more feminine and modern. Anxious to put them on, I tore upon the package, slipped them on my feet, and was immediately uncomfortable and disappointed. After reading reviews, I saw that it ran narrow for some people, but thought I'd give it a shot. Boy, those people were right! These were super narrow. I mean, completely intolerable so much that I couldn't even walk in them without muttering an "Ouch." I have always worn a B-medium fit with no problem, but these should be marked as narrow. I was forced to return them despite how adorable I thought they were. I would try to size up, but unfortunately, I wear a size 11, so I can't. I will be purchasing the regular low top Converses for their classic style, fit, and comfort. If you have regular width feet, you might want to do the same.

I really wanted to keep these: a more feminine-looking Con. So, after reading the other reviews, I bought half a size larger. Unfortunately, they were still too narrow, and now too long, to boot. Cute, but they have to go back.

Whatever you do, wear socks with these or rip your heals up! I am a size 7.5 so I ordered a 7 after reading reviews that told me I should order down. I wore them for an hour without socks and the skin was ripped off of both of my heals. Being without a pair of spare shoes for the whole day I had to fold the heal of the shoe down and wear them as slippers which made them completely filthy. I washed them and let them air dry and they shrunk in the toe area so my toes are squeezed really tight and now I don't know if I will be able to wear them anymore, after only 1 wear. This sucks.

I used to love my Chucks, but now that I am having issues with my arches not so much. I thought that I would buy a larger size to fit an orthotic. No can do. I usually wear 41. They are cute and lightweight for those without feet issues to wear all summer. I guess it is time to return these fun, impractical little shoes.

Super tight, very narrow. Had to return. I have never been any shoe size but an 8 and these were not even close to fitting. Cute shoe though.

I thought theses were what my sister wanted for Christmas, but this style is much different than other short converse shoes. The fit is MUCH different.

I'm trying the regular Ox again and returning this shoe. The Dainty Ox is too narrow in the toes for me, while the rest fits well.

Ordered both a 6 and a 7 and you guessed it, I need a 6.5! Returned the 6, kept the 7 and made it work for me. Inserted thicker "Dr. S" insoles to take up extra room in the toe and the heel. I have a narrow foot and the area between the toes and the instep is narrow even for me.

I was really disappointed with this shoe. I didn't realize it was different/smaller than the regular all stars. I normal wear a 7 (equal to a 9 in womens). I ordered the nine in this shoe and it was too small to walk comfortably. Thanks, Zappos, for the free returns! I will be exchanging for the regular Chucks.

Very cute shoe, but definitely not a walking shoe. I got these prior to a trip to Chicago and decided to pack them into my carry on without trying them on. Big mistake. Even with socks on, they rubbed me in all the wrong places and was not comfortable to walk more than a few blocks in.

I'm a true 8.5 - unfortunately the 8 was too small and the 9 was enormous. Bummer. Half sizes would be really helpful!

I absolutely love this shoe but unfortunately it doesn't fit me right. I have very narrow feet but it pinched my toes! I played tennis after school for a week 3 hours every day and by the end of the week, I had blisters! I don't know if anyone else has had this experience. I found another brand I like better - Civil Duty Shoes (the "Fascination" style) and they fit me much better.

If you are ordering a pair of these Converse, be aware of the fact that these run small. For example, I ordered a size 7 and when I received them they barely fit at all. So make sure if you do buy these shoes (which I suggest you don't) order a size or two larger than you normally would.

You need to order a size up. I normally wear a woman's size 7 and my toe is jammed to the tip of the toe box and these shoes are very narrow, my foot feels like it is exploding through the canvas. I'm torn because I want to try out an 8, but I really think even a size up won't solve the narrowness.

These Dainty Oxs are sooo not like the original ones!!! The rubber toe cap is smaller and the tongue is weirdly stitched so that it would only fit someone with VERY wide feet. I do have narrow feet but the original ones fit just fine. The tongue on these gets bunched up and is very uncomfortable...and that is with inserts to help with width. And let's talk about that waffle foot bed!!! What the heck is that all about? Without the inserts there is no way I could stand wearing them. I should have returned them but sadly thought I could get used to them.

I've been wearing Converse for 20+ years. The shoe sizes for Dainty Ox do not match the traditional Converse size chart. Thankfully, Zappos.com has free shipping.

This shoe was really weird. I bought 4 colors in 2 sizes, and no 2 shoes fit the same. The 10.5 shoe was bigger than the 11. What gives?

I was expecting normal Converse; however, these were cut different...they were lower around the ankle and the sole was thinner than the normal Converse. I did not really that the "dainty Ox" meant that the shoe was completely different. I returned them and ordered regular Converse.

I returned my shoes as the tongue of the shoe did not have the usual holder to keep the laces in place. Without those I find that the tongue of the shoe rides to the side which can become quite uncomfortable.

Yeah...nope. I wanted to like these, but the originals are better. The Daintys look and feel cheap. Plus the sizing is weird. 7 is my normal size in Chucks but these 7s were way too small. 8s were too big. I'm sticking with the classic All Star.

Feels like cardboard under my feet! Stick with the originals; they are much more comfortable!
