It seems Converse keep getting narrower and narrower. I love the color, but yet these shoes feel tight, like my feet are wrapped up in them. I will keep them, I really like them for the style, but I will be needing a new replacement for converse since these are getting more narrow.

Very cute! Much slimmer looking than traditional chucks. They don't make me feel like I have canoes on my feet. Many reviews said they're narrow, but I have wide feet and being able to adjust the laces made them fit great! My only complaint is the lack of arch support, but being chucks you shouldn't expect much. I love Zappos shipping policy and easy returns! My favorite place to buy shoes.

Pretty color. Runs about 1/2 size large. Not all that comfortable but I'll manage. Might just need to be broken in.

I was super excited about these, and wasn't worried about the 'narrow' reviews because I have narrow feet, but not narrow enough for these. They are super cute and I love the lower sides, but they rubbed the sides of my feet instantly.

My first Chuck Taylors, after a life time of Asics I have to say the Chucks take some getting used to. At first, it was evident they were the most uncomfortable gym shoes I've ever worn, still believe this and wear for the fashion trend, but surely not an all day shoe. I do like the fact that the dainty is much more feminine even though there is no cushion or support. I tried all the styles and the new style that has the comfortable insert is too bulking making the feet look huge. The regular OX (run small and narrow) but have a little cushion and not quite as bulky as the new styles with insert. The weaved uppers on two styles are cute but a sock that covers any area of the upper is needed, very scratchy anywhere the uppers hit the foot.

These are definitely a daintier version of the Original Chucks! I think, though, that it actually makes feet appear even more ski-like than the originals. The smaller front make your foot look just so long if you are not already dainty in your feet. But that is just part of wearing All Stars, I guess. As for sizing I wear a 9½, but I ordered a 10 as I do with athletic shoes. This was a mistake, because the shoes feel a full size too big - so I think they actually run biggish anyway. And this is with my arch supports inserts in there on top of the insoles! I am not giving them five stars because of these things, but I sure do like these shoes!

Do not size up from your regular shoe size! These run true to size! My goodness, I see other reviewers saying to order a size or half size up, and the only way someone could possibly think that these do not run true to size is if they do not know their own shoe size! I wear a size 7 in everything. Nikes, all my boots, flats, etc, I am a solid 7, and these are no different. I do not have really narrow feet and this made no difference, these still fit me fine.

I love ordering from Zappos! If I order on Wednesday I know I will get my shoes on Friday! By the way I love these shoes. I wear a 9½, and ordered a 10 and I have plenty room at top. The sides of the top of shoes do rub against sides of toes but since they are a bit bigger for me it does not bother me. They are super cute and lightweight compared to the regular Chucks! I love these!

These are what they say, a more dainty Converse. Unfortunately that means that they were too narrow for my daughter and we had to return them. She can usual wear a normal width so I think these run narrow.

Just what I was looking for! Classic, goes with anything. They rub a little so I won't be wearing them without socks.

I like the slimmer design for women. I bought the Vans Classic Slip Ons and the Converse Shoreline Slips to compare and this style won. The Vans and Shoreline Slips were too wide. These only come in whole sizes; I usually wear a 7.5 and 8 fits perfectly.

More "Dainty" than clunky Chucks which make my size 8 feet look huge! Stylish with ankle jeans or chinos. They remind me of my "tennies" when growing up!

Love how they look, especially in the seashell color. Unfortunately, they run too narrow for my slightly-wide feet. I know they would squeeze my toes and cause problems, so back they go. Bummer!

I am really enjoying these shoes. They are more narrow that the traditional Converse. They look cute and can be dressed up or down. Only downside is that they do not come in 1/2 sizes.

Love these shoes. They have little arch support so I wear them with support inserts for added comfort. They were true to size for me, I'm a size 9 with a somewhat wide foot.

I ordered both the traditional Converse and the Dainty and ended up keeping the Dainty. They did run a full size larger than the traditional Converse (I am normally a 7 and I purchased an 8 in the Dainty). I do love them but found that they did rub on the back of my heel a bit and make a blister. Just make sure you wear good socks that don't fall down on the heel!

Great shoe! Love 'em. Narrow, but break in quickly (I have a sort of wide foot). Look slightly lighter than in the picture. One problem: not enough eyelets to do parallel lacing properly.

I liked that these shoes felt lighter than the classic version but they just looked too much like Keds. Unlike the classic version they do fit true to size and are on the narrower size.

I received these and am happy with them. They have a trimmer sole and lower cut around the ankle than standard Chucks. I knew ordering them that the shoe has no insole support, so I gave them 3 stars for comfort. I will be adding an insole. The toe area is a little long. They feel true to size width-wise, but are a tad longer than my size 9 feet. There is room to add an arch support insert and it's good the shoes are a little long because once you get the support in the shoe you need a little more space. I also don't like shoes bruise my toenails, so the extra length is a feature not a drawback. These aren't meant to be a beautiful shoe, they're sporty. Overall they get 4 stars, marked off only because in their native state they have no support.

Purchased for a young person's foot. She finds them very comfortable and true to size. The narrow sole gives it more feminine look than traditional converse. Older peeps beware...no arch support or cushion.

Pluses: Style is classic. Also, the thinner sole make them feel much lighter than regular Converse. Cons: Sizing. I usually wear 8 1/2 in most shoes, and ordered an 8 and a 9. I already have a pair of women's converse that are a size 8 that fit fine, but these are definitely smaller as other reviewers said. The 8 was too small and the 9 a bit big. I'm still just deciding if the extra room at the end make them look like clown shoes. If you have a small foot, this won't be an issue! Really wish they'd make half sizes. One more plus was Zappos itself- excellent easy ordering and return of the size that didn't fit.

Very small and tight fit. I already have a pair of Chucks not the Dainty Ox that are the same size I ordered in this, and they fit, these don't.

The "dainty" style of these shoes are great, but they're a lot smaller and narrower than the sizing for the classic Converse. Normally I'm a size 6.5 and wear 7 for Converse, but I'm a size 8 with these. I like these more than my regular Converse and I'm definitely going to be wearing them a lot!

I got these in two colours, chocolate and black mono. I thought I would love them, and they looked cool, with a smaller sole and less huge toe cap than the regular Converse style. However, they were really narrow and I could see the side of my foot bulging over the side when they were laced up. Sad! I will have to return them.

This is my first pair of Chucks, they are as narrow as they look! I'm hoping they'll stretch a bit, but I love the look!
