I read all of these reviews before ordering these shoes from Zappos. I wear a size 39 Dansko clog with socks and a size 38 Dansko in a more fashionable style (don't know the name). I ordered a 39 in the Theas and am VERY happy with the size and fit. I consider myself to have a wide toe/ball of my foot and a high arch/instep. Both the width of the toe box and the strap across the top of my foot feel great. I am glad that I sized up a bit to a 39 to allow for a bit more wiggle room. I have owned them for a week and worn them to anniversary dinner, an interview and work. They're great!

I got my first pair back in June 2013 (in tangerine). I then proceeded to buy black, blue, grey, and then recently beige. I know five pairs is excessive but I am on my feet all day long (I am a dietitian in a large hospital - lots of walking). These shoes were a winner right out of the box (which came overnight! Zappos is just the best all around). I wore them the very next day and walked for probably several miles without one issue. I do not walk in these shoes - I prance! Not a day goes by that I do not get at least three compliments on these shoes (always say I got them from Zappos). They are pricy but literally the best shoes that I have ever owned. I will continue to collect them every year. They look fabulous with pants (skinny and boot cut), dresses, and skirts. All around universal shoe and I live in California so I can wear them year round. These are literally the best shoes ever.

These are super cute on. I am an 8 1/2 shoe size and never go above a 39 in European sizing. My big toe hit the front of the shoe in the size 39 though. The width was great for my narrow feet. Sadly I will be sending these back.

I love this shoe! I need a closed toe shoe for work but still wanted something that felt like a sandal. The foot bed is very comfortable and I have average foot width and found the fit to be perfect!

I'm a surgical nurse. I've tried every shoe in the world for comfort, stability and to alleviate back pain. Danskos are the only shoe that I can wear. Up until this point I've never seen a "Sexy" Dansko. I bought these shoes and was a little nervous about the sizing. I wear a 41 for work, and they are loose. I can kick them off. I also have fat/wide feet. I was afraid that these would be too narrow based on other reviews. I was also not sure what size I should order. I went ahead and ordered the same size. They fit perfectly. Not loose. Not tight, no rubbing or discomfort. My arch was in the correct place and the heel of my foot went to the appropriate place on the back of the shoe. I'm in love with these shoes! I won't wear them for work in the O.R., however. That's just kind of gross, and they are too cute to ruin. They are a tad higher than my regular clogs, but not really noticeable. I can walk fine in them and I do not wear heels. Ever. I have joked to my friends in the past that if I can't wear an outfit with my Danskos, I won't wear it. I will not give up comfort for style. Now I don't have to. These are the cutest shoes! I bought these in brown. I will definitely be getting crimson and brandy. Love! Buy these shoes. You won't regret it. I have seen tips on stretching them as well if they are snug.

I absolutely love these shoes! They kind of have this retro, sexy vibe. I am obsessed with the heel on these shoes but the rivets along the front leather also give it edge. It reminds me of the good old days when yo-yos were a thing, only better! I would recommend that you break them in a little at a time by wearing them only a few hours the first days. The ball of your foot will thank you. I get more compliments on these shoes! I can wear these with anything! I bought both the black and the brandy color. Kudos to Danskos design team and thank you, Zappos for being so darn awesome!

Finally, the solution to my cute vs. comfort dilemma! I love fun shoes but I walk a lot...a combination that either results in blisters and crankiness, or a call to the Fashion Police. These shoes came to my rescue, with a sleeker line and higher heel than most Danskos, yet they are comfortable enough that I walked a mile in them today without a second thought. All that without the chunky Bigfoot effect that usually happens when I wear clogs with a skirt! I wear an 8M and the size 38 fit beautifully right out of the box (I had no problems with a tight or narrow fit). Hey, Dansko -- how about making these in red?

Every time I wear these shoes I get compliments. They look super cute with cuffed skinny jeans. They are comfortable too, maybe not for walking all day long -these aren't as practical as typical Danskos, but if you're looking for something with a bit of a heel these are great. I want the black ones now.

Love these! They are more snug than many Dansko shoes, but the 41 fits my size 10.5 or 11 foot just right. Wore them to a meeting and out to dinner, and even a long walk. All good!

The Theas are everything I wanted them to be, so cute and like walking on a cloud. After some wear, though, the top strap on the left shoe is killing my foot. Very painful after a long day, even bruising. I'm hoping that's just part of the break-in process, and it was only on that one side, so maybe it's me?

I love that Dansko is making more stylish shoes. Although these shoes have a sizable heel, they are very comfortable and provide good support. I can wear them to work but also when taking my two and four year old sons to outdoor concerts, sightseeing etc. I love the tangerine color. I also ordered the green but was disappointed as it was dull so I returned the green.

I have a lot of Dansko Shoes and I have never had such discomfort with a Dansko. My foot hurt when I tried them on. I wore them around the house for a few hours and by the time I took them off both my feet were in pain. They are cute but they are going back.

I LOVE this shoe! I am on my feet at the hospital 8+ hours daily and I need support. This shoe is super comfortable, offers support and looks great with all my cute dresses. I'm planning on getting them in red soon:) The only weird thing is that they sound clunky on the cement floors at work which is embarrassing. This could be the way I walk, but I don't know.

Love these shoes! Are they clogs? Are they sandals? Are they shoe-shoes? Who knows, who cares, they are comfortable, cute, lightweight, perfect for summer! I may have to get another, darker pair for fall. I've been a clog lover all my life but have never owned a pair of Danskos before - am now fully a believer! Other reviewers noted that their sandals ran narrow, but I didn't notice any problem like that. I realize that I have easy feet - generally have no trouble with finding shoes that fit or breaking in a new pair, so I may not reflect the average buyer - but these were comfortable from the moment I put them on. Wore them all day, the very first day, and except for needing to remember how to walk in clogs so I don't sound like a herd of Clydesdales coming up behind you, I had no problems at all. Strongly recommend this shoe!

Really muted nude-type color, kind of like a bandage color and not as pink as they look on my computer. That's not a bad thing though, they are my favorite pair of shoes right now. Very comfortable, feminine and stylish.

Dansko has done it again! This shoe is not only stylish but offers the same comfort, arch support as Dansko clogs. LOVE IT! Please keep them coming. Only suggestion I have is please work on making heel less noisy when walking. Thanks!

Very comfortable mid-height heel. I can wear this all day long and feel like I'm just wearing a regular clog. On first few wears the front portion of leather cut into my foot and felt uncomfortable, but now is loosened and much more wearable. Runs slightly small, but still true to US size. Lots of compliments. Great buy!

Gorgeous on the foot! I normally wear Dansko size 38 in the professional line, but I do have a pair of open clogs similar to these in 37 which fit well. I got these in both sizes to try, and the 38 is perfect and so comfortable!! Plenty room to spread out my toes and great arch support. The 37 is too tight in the toebox. I got tangerine and will order more colors.

Not to throw a monkey wrench in what seems to be many reviews indicating that these run narrow and small...but I ordered my same clog size in the Thea and they fit perfectly. Generous toe box, the top strap fits comfortably (I was worried it would hit that bump in the top of the foot weird) and they are so comfortable! Nude color is beautiful, probably going to be buying these in at least one more color because they are so perfect.

First of all I love this Dansko! Needed a larger size than originally ordered, but then the fit was perfection! Didn't know how to purchase Dansko products until someone said to try Zappos. I did and will never shop anywhere else (well almost)! I was treated with kid gloves as was my purchase. Shipping was amazing! Thanks Zappos for a wonderful, carefree experience! Laura

Wonderful shoes. I cannot wear the traditional Dansko's, but these are styled much more narrow and fit great. I'm thinking of ordering them in the green color too.

Mostly my review is about the "Exclusive" grey color. Amazon has the same color, so it's not really "exclusive." However, it's a much better color in person than online! Online it looks like a white-grey, sort of a chalk color, but in person it's nubuck, and a darker, softer color. I can't think of anything similar to compare it to, though. Stainless steel? A little lighter grey than that. I'm quite pleased. I am also pleased to note that while I tried the original issue of the Thea in bright blue a few years ago and found it intolerably tight in the toe box/vamp, these grey ones are amply roomy and fit me comfortably in my usual Dansko size. I may get the green as well.

Love! Cutest shoes...the closed toe can get a little warm in the summer, but the shape of the toe more than makes up for it...not clunky like some Danskos. Adorable wearing with everything.

Absolutely love this sandal. It is the most comfortable sandal I have ever worn! The fit is perfect too!
