I own Dansko clogs, mary janes, and shoes. My foot is somewhere between normal and wide, more toward the wide side. Yes, these are narrower than the clogs and mary-jane clogs but surprisingly wide for "fashionable" sandals. I was shocked to find that these fit my "kinda wide" feet, with no pinching on the sides, either. If Hasbeens are too narrow, these might be a good alternative. I usually never wear heels but these are surprisingly stable. I like the closed toe as this is more appropriate for work. One con: as these are clogs (wood/faux-wood platform), they can be a bit loud when walking on wood/marble/hard floors. I am considering getting another pair.

I bought a pair of these last year in black and was very pleased with the fit. I bought a second pair this year in brown and was a little disappointed with the slightly wider width. But so what else is new, they are Danskos so I expect the fit to vary a bit. I do not usually wear heels this high, but these are easier on the knees than most and the footbed is very comfortable. The only problem is the noisy, clip-clop sound - they are pretty noisy on linoleum and other hard surfaces.

Very comfy shoe. Good arch support, soft footbed. The heel makes it stylish. I have a narrow foot and this fits it well.

Let me tell you how disappointed I was that these shoes did not fit me. I read and re-read the reviews, and kept reading how these shoes run on the smaller side. I normally wear a 35 in all of my Danskos (and thus have been really disappointed by the newer dressier styles that did not come in a 35, and instead start at 36). But I thought maybe these would work out. Zappos is incredibly fast with their shipping (never ceases to amaze me), and I was so thrilled when I saw how beautiful these shoes were - I ordered and loved the cream color, and also the pretty green color too. However, while I thought I had feet on the Medium to Wide side, evidently the reviewers who rate these are smaller than marked must have truly wide feet! My slid into these shoes without any problems. I've always order Medium for my other Danskos (Sienna, Sally, Professional, Sophie, Sissy), so I would say these run the same. And because my feet slid in with no problems, the length was too long and I had about almost an inch of shoe left -- so sad because these were so pretty! The platform is also high enough that made up for the height of the heel - which would have helped me out since I'm only 5'. Another reviewer said these could be noisy, and I agree, and if you're walking on hard floors all day, you will sound a bit like a horse (but a comfortable horse!). So since I couldn't make this work, I had to return them. I wanted to cry. My consolation was that I ordered a pair of Sam in 35 (Black Floral Tooled), which I really love because the floral pattern is so pretty, and because they are just as comfortable as my beloved Sally, which have been discontinued.

These were very cute, and reasonably comfortable, but the heel was too high for me (I am tall to begin with). I tried to talk myself into them, but for the price I will look for something with a slightlh lower heel.

I still have mixed feelings. I love the style is beautiful but comfort. Ugh not sure. There are days when I'm walking around a lot that they start to hurt my feet. Still I have flat feet so... Regardless the style and look is amazing I got them in black and brown. The style is perfect for spring.

Same comfort as the original, better styling, count me in! These shoes are very nice but a tiny bit snug at the wide strap and toe box, more than the other 3 pairs of Danskos I have already. Overall happy with them and I've decided the color matches everything!

I've never ha trouble with Dansko's but...this is the 3rd pair of these that I have ordered because the buckles don't match up. One is buckled on 3 and the other is on 4 and they don't fit the same. I must say that the 3rd time was the charm and the new pair are great.

Sigh. I badly wanted this Dansko sandal to work! Love the style, love the typical Dansko comfort. However, the sizing was off for me. I have a long, narrow foot. Size 38, which typically works for my size 7-1/2 foot, was too short. Size 39 fit lengthwise, but was too wide and gaped at the side and back. Thank God for Zappos service and return policy. Back they went, and my quest for the perfect cute and comfortable sandal continues!

I bought these shoes to take the place of my old Mariah style Danskos. They are very comfortable as far as my feet are concerned, but they are not as easy on the knees as the clog soles. I plan to keep them, however I will also try the "Sam" style shoes to see if they are more comfortable for all-day wear.

Really like these shoes -- they are super cute -- but I'd like to echo what several other reviewers have said about their fit and comfort compared to other Dansko shoes. They are definitely tighter (I've always worn a 38 and they were always loose-ish; these are not). And they aren't as well-cushioned as my older Dansko sandals. But they are still very comfy and very stable (important to me because I broke my foot falling off a platform last year!). Plus, like I said, super cute.

One of Dansko's best styles ever, with a few caveats...primarily, the leather needs to be softened (I have written to Dansko regarding this). I would love to order this style in just about every color it comes in. I see it being stylish enough for dresses and clog enough for trousers as well as open enough for warm weather and closed enough for cool weather. The heel has height yet is still very stable with its well-designed footbed. This is really one of Dansko's best styles ever, and I go back years with Dansko. There are reviews that say this style is atypically narrow for Dansko. I don't find the shoes too narrow (length and width fit my C-width feet well); I find that the leather is hard and ungiving such that it doesn't accommodate a bare foot (as sandals are usually worn). Going up a size didn't work for me, because then the shoes were too long and shifted the arch to the wrong place. So, while sizing up does solve the abrasive issue of the ungiving leather (just because it is now away from the foot in the oversized shoe) the shoe is otherwise unwearable for me. I love this style so much and it fits otherwise so perfectly (in my normal size) that I'm going to try the shoe in the correct size with those little toe sockie things some women wear. We'll see if that let's me enjoy this shoe enough that I can buy it in every color it comes in.

Although I did not purchase through Zappos, I really like the arch support in these shoes. Although I wear them with thin socks, a spot on the inner seam start to bother my feet toward the end of the day. Maybe a little thicker sock would help. They are a bit loud when walking on hard flooring. Dansko brand shoes are very good for anyone with any kind of arch. You will not need an orthotic to keep your arches from falling. If you ever have a chance, The Walking Company is a great store to visit. They have a platform you stand on which shows on a screen where you put the most pressure on your feet. It is a multi-color image with yellow indicating the most pressure, to blue (the least) and black (no pressure at all), which indicates the condition of your arches.

I first ordered these in size 39, my normal size, and like others have said, they were so tight across my foot. I considered taking them to a cobbler to have them stretched a bit, but decided to try a 40 before I made the 39s un-returnable. This made all the difference! The 40 fit perfectly. They are definitely cuter and more dressy than my clogs, just not sure yet if they are as comfy for a long day of walking. So far, they are great for an afternoon of shopping!

I liked Dansko but these were too narrow and tight that I ended with blisters on top of my feet. I really hoped they would somehow loosen as time went on. That was where I made the mistake and did not return them. Now they are dust collectors :(

Really loved these shoes at first. I got so many compliments. I bought them for work. They are really comfortable and cute. However, the footbed does not breathe well and starts to get really gross, dirty and smelly. Its hard to clean the toe bed. Wish they would've used a leather insole. The major PROBLEM with these: I wore these for maybe a year at most and the wooden bottom SPLIT in HALF on one shoe. Really disappointed! I really want another pair of comfortable clogs but not sure if these are worth the money if I have to worry that the shoe will break again.

I love love love these shoes. However I'm super sad that the arch cracked pretty fast. I don't think I wear through shoes too fast, but these broke within a few months. And I love them, but I'm hesitant to buy anymore of this style... I wish there was warranty to

I love the way these look. I got them this spring to have something with more coverage than a sandal. I also wanted something to wear to work that could go with everything but still be a little funky and fun. These look great, but after wearing them for months, they still hurt my feet if I have to walk any distance at all. Because they look like comfort shoes, it feels really silly that I have to bring walking shoes and then switch these in when I want to wear them.

I bought a pair last summer and when I wore them once this spring I discovered that the base had cracked clear through the arch. There's no way to repair them. I have several pair of Danskos, including a pair of sandals with the same style base, and haven't had any problems, but now I'm considering contacting the company to see if they'll replace them.

I have several pair of Danskos and love the the brand because they offer the most arch support. I wanted something reasonably stylish that I could wear all day to work as I walk over long distances on hard tile floors. I got them in 38, same as my other Danskos, but my toes hit the end. First time I've had that experience with this brand. The good news, they are actually quite attractive on! My feet didn't look as big I thought they would. The rounded toe helped with that. The bad news, they are hard on the bottom. They don't give at all. I wore them around the house praying they would feel better, but no luck. Sadly I must return them.

Cute but so wide across top of toe I felt like I had duck feet. And looked like it too. I wear a 7 and a half so I don't have large feet, but they looked like I was wearing size 13 shoes. Not very flattering.

OK, these shoes are adorable, which is obviously what attracted me to them in the first place. Once I tried them on at a local store, I was hooked. The only complaint about sizing is that once you wear them for half a work day, and your feet are hot from walking around, they get a bit uncomfortably snug, but overall fit great. These do feel like more of a heel though, being 3 inches. Definitely a little out of my comfort zone compared to regular Dansko's. But... does anyone else have problems with these shoes quacking?! When I walk (on hardwood mostly) the heel quacks so loud it literally sounds like there is a duck on my feet. It's not a slight squeak like the regular Danskos, that I can deal with. This is a full on LOUD duck quack. Draws attention and laughs in my quiet office and honestly prevents me from wearing them as much as I'd like. It must be a result of the heel suctioning funny on the floor, but I'm not really sure what to do about it. Thinking about returning them because that quack is just unbearable.

Very disappointed in Dansko with the Thea. Cute as heck but big no no in comfort. It was not the width. That was fine but I did go up size from my normal 41's to 42. I can tell you that I have been wearing this brand for years. This heel is made out of plastic. Not a shock absorbing wear all day kind of shoe. Hard plastic heel. If it were wood - maybe it would be tolerable.

I was looking for a closed toe comfort sandal for work. The shoe size 36 is supposed to fit sizes 5.5 - 6; I wear a size 5.5; unfortunately, the shoe did not fit. The shoe arch did not properly align with my foot.

Super cute but the band across the top of my foot was much too tight. I didn't stretch them out as other reviewers have suggested. Part of me wishes I'd have read those reviews before I sent them back. However, that's a lot of work to make comfort shoes comfortable. I will try again with another style.
