Nice looking and comfortable. I like that they are stable - no ankle twisting. These shoes are well made and after many months of wear, they still look great and don't show the wear. I do sometimes get a red spot (pre-blister) over one of my big toes when I walk in them ~1 mile or more. I wish the toe area breathed more... but it is a closed-toe shoe.

I loved these and had high hopes for them! However, I had to send them back because both shoes squeaked loudly when I walked. I expect better from Dansko. This is the second pair of defective Danskos I've had to send back within the past year. As usual, Zappos Customer Service is THE BEST!

I hated to return these. They are really cute, but the two problems I encountered with them just made them not worth keeping. I ordered the tooled brown leather and the detailing was so pretty. Really nice quality. I have a lot of foot pain due to multiple problems...foot surgery, bunions, plantar fasciitis...yada yada yada. These shoes felt great on the soles of my feet, which is where most my pain is. That was huge and made me happy, BUT I wore them around the house for a few hours and the things that forced me to give them up were the following: 1.) The sides of the toe-box dug into my feet and were very painful. I don't have super wide feet and guess that a narrower foot would be fine here. It is totally possible that the leather would loosen up and stretch over time and I was almost willing to keep them, but... 2.) The toe-box does not breathe AT ALL. My feet were so hot in these and started to sweat...and that's just really uncomfortable. Just imagine the potential for stink nasty shoes. I'd rather avoid that.

I have terrible feet -- wide, flat arches, prone to pain, a bunion -- and I have such a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable, supportive, and don't cause pain if I'm on my feet all day. I have 3 pair of Danskos now, including the red 'Sam' and I rotate them during the week, because they're the only shoes that don't leave me in pain at the end of the day. I get so many compliments on these, too! Since I've started wearing them regularly, several of my co-workers have started wearing their Danskos, too. We're starting a Dansko revolution! Only slightly negative comment: I should have ordered up a 1/2 size. Will do so next time, since I plan to order these in the neutral beige color on payday.

These shoes are so amazingly cute. If you have wide feet or high arches you may or may not have problems with the toe portion. I have both and I find the toe portion to be slightly tight but I am keeping them because I feel it will stretch and will not bother me for the time being. Plus, they are too cute and fit great other than the aforementioned. I wear these in a 43 and I wish there were more styles available in the 43!

This shoe is beautiful and comfortable. Looks cute with leggings, jeans, dresses, you name it! My first comfort shoe i'm excited to show off! Unfortunately, I will be exchanging this pair as I ordered the sand-colored ones thinking they would blend in nicely, but the color looks more like a taupe (the flat brown color commonly used on senior citizen shoes) than a neutral leather.

I like these a lot, typical Dansko quality! They are not my most comfortable Dansko shoes and my big toes rub the front of the shoe and not matter how tight I make the ankle strap. But they are good for my daily walks to work and maybe will be more comfy after they are broken in a bit. I wouldn't order these again but would definitely try another Dansko style.

Hmm. I really want to love these shoes, but I'm still thinking about them. Actually, I DO love the upper, cute style and interesting color. BUT the sole is my issue. I don't know why Dansko couldn't have just done one of their regular tan rubber soles with the "wood" texture pressed into it. Instead this shoe has a squishier base with a cheap looking wood design like printed on it. I guess from a few feet away, you wouldn't see it, but up close it looks cartoonish. I haven't worn these yet so I'm still deciding if the good part of the upper outweighs how I feel about the lower part.

I wear a WW in width, and while these aren't marked as wide shoes, they do fit, although I had to go up a size to be comfortable. They pinch the tops of my feet a little after they've been worn for a while and my feet swell naturally, but it's not intolerable and may go away as they break in. The footbed is very comfortable. I have lingering plantar fasciitis, and it isn't aggravated at all when wearing these and my feet feel secure and don't slip.

I have admired Dansko shoes for a while. I don't have any terrible foot problems, but I have a high arch and try to avoid having any pressure against the top of my foot. These fit the bill there. They aren't very stylish, but I wear them every so often anyway. They are a good in between/simple shoe. I guess I just don't love them as much as I'd hoped to.

I have purchased many Dansko shoes for my sister who has to stand for long periods of time albeit behind a counter and she absolutely loves these shoes. While I know that the support is great for this brand, they lack style for the office space for a career woman. When is Dansko going to expand its customer base?

These shoes feature the highly sought after combination of cute and comfy. I like that they hide my icky toenail fungus toe and yet have a summer look/feel. I've been struggling with a sore foot for a year and was worried that I might not be able to wear these, but I am so happy to report that they are very comfortable for walking and standing. I do kick them off when I'm home because I do feel like they are a little heavy. I feel this way about all shoes, preferring the feel of bare feet. I wear these without hose and have no feet-stick-to-the-material issues. My best size is 5C, which is very hard to find. These are a 36 and fit well. I have worn these with a dress, which is an okay look. I love how they look with capris.

If you have big ankles the strap may be a little tight for you. Otherwise, I love these shoes! Typical danskos, comfy from the time you put them on till you take them off. Great for work.

Great shoe with classic Dansko quality and comfort. I wear it out and to work. Couple things- this shoe let's off a strange smell (previous to having my feet in them or using them and it kind of smells like dog poo- pretty sure it is the sole giving off a gas from production and very strange. Also occasionally I have gotten some rubbing on the toe box if it is hot out and my feet sweat. All around still a great shoe and the color is nice too- goes with lighter clothes.

Loved this shoe. Just too large in the footbed. Tried to add an insole unsuccessfully. Normally wear a medium size. Back to my favorite fit the Sandi. Thanks.

These shoes are actually quite cute, and the comfort level is great except for one tiny thing on me. On the top of my foot there is a little bumpy bone at the base of my pinky toe (well, maybe on everyone's foot). These shoes dig directly into that bumpy bone, especially on the left foot. I don't think it's bad enough to send them back because they are cute and provide nice height and very comfortable otherwise. I'm hoping they'll be broken in enough eventually to stop digging so noticeably into that bone.

I should give these a 5 star, they are all-day comfortable for 90% of my foot. They are somewhat tight across the tops of my toes but I'm hoping the leather will stretch. I feel they are very stylish, I wear them everywhere.

I get tons of compliments and they are super comfortable. But the sand dollar gets stained so easily. It is a really light color. I wish I thought of this before I bought them.

Lovely shoe! I picked up the Sand Dollar color and it just wasn't the right tone for me - it looked more like a pantyhose color than a sand dollar, ha. But the style, oh my gosh. So comfortable! Soft on the interior, a cute design for someone looking for a shoe with that classic awesome Dansko sole that's a little stylish. I ended up having to return for a different color but I know they will not require any break-in time at all! Great buy. I wish they came in more colors!

As usual, great looking, great fitting, comfortable shoes from Dansko. My black pair are a little duller looking than expected (as in color/finish) but still good. Also, these are cut a little tighter across the top than my last pair of sandals, but no chafing--just taking a little getting used to. I will wear these and my brown sandals from Dansko all summer!

I work in a hospital and wanted shoes I could be in all day. I have very flat arches in my feet and need good arch support, otherwise my knees and lower back feel it by the end of the day. These shoes really provided good support. They are not soft and cushy, but they do help provide structure for your foot so they don't feel so taxed by the end of the day. I will say though that both of my pinky toes get squished and are pretty sore after a few hours. I have really narrow feet so I'm not sure why this is happening. I keep wearing them hoping that breaking them in will help. I hope it does because I spent a good chunk of change on these and I intend to wear them for a long time!

Was very comfortable for 2 hours, for this person with very bad feet. After 2 hours it started to feel pressure at certain bony points that grew very uncomfortable very fast. I also realized that for me it was a must to wear thicker socks with it -- the skin is kind of hard and stiff and rubs in the wrong places. Still, overall, knowing how hard it is for me to find anything remotely comfortable that is not outright ugly on me -- this was a fine experience.

I ordered 2 sizes because I run between a 39 and 1 40 depending on the style. The 39 alittle small, the 40 fit great. Love the color.

This style runs small. I wear a 38 in Dansko clogs and this is an entire size too small. My toes were hitting the end of the shoe and my heel nearly hanging off. Order a size up.
