I bought the Black Floral Tooled in 35, and the Thea in Natural and Green in 36. I loved the Theas but sadly had to return them because the 36 didn't fit me (see my review). However I was really happy that the Sam worked out because I've been wearing mostly my Sally Danskos (I alternate mostly between black, brown, cordovan, and red). I've worn my black and brown Sally shoes almost on a daily basis for several years now so they were looking a little scuffed, and I would have replaced them but Sally model has been discontinued. The Sam feels just like the Sally, and looks almost like the Sally, except Sally has a closed heel, which I really would've preferred. I do love that Sam has a Sand color, but I've refrained from buying that color because it looks so plain. It would be so pretty if these were all Floral Tooled like the black and brown (which I might buy next). I wish they were close heeled so I could wear hose. I agree with previous reviewer that these shoes can make your feet hot at the toe box (was same with the Sally), so you'd want to have shoes to alternate with and let these air out. But they are super comfortable. I wore them today and had to run all across the hospital campus for various meetings, and never once did my feet cry out. I also own a couple of Naots, and with those, my feet are happy at first, but towards the middle of the day, the inside leather rubs against the top of my toes, and Naots are heavy, so my feet are very happy to get out of the Naots at the end of the day. I also like these heels because they are 2 inches, about 1/4 inch higher than the Sally heels - that doesn't sound like much but for a 5'0 person, every millimeter counts! I really love the newer dressier styles of Danskos (Becky, Roxy, etc) and wish I could wear them but they don't work because they start at 36.

Excellent shoes, very comfortable and ideal for the Fall and Spring seasons.

These shoes are just what I needed. I have severe arthritis in my big toe joints and I had no pain at all when wearing them.

Great shoe! I bought them back in 2011 I think they are stylish and comfy for someone who suffers from plantar fasciitis. Downfall, they make your feet stink something awful! And the summer time sweat and black it's a little gross, But nothing you cannot fix. Other than that is a great buy.

I have terrible feet -- wide, flat arches, prone to pain, a bunion -- and I have such a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable, supportive, and don't cause pain if I'm on my feet all day. I have 3 pair of Danskos now, including the red 'Sam' and I rotate them during the week, because they're the only shoes that don't leave me in pain at the end of the day. I get so many compliments on these, too! Since I've started wearing them regularly, several of my co-workers have started wearing their Danskos, too. We're starting a Dansko revolution! Only slightly negative comment: I should have ordered up a 1/2 size. Will do so next time, since I plan to order these in the neutral beige color on payday.

Adorable and comfortable. Highly recommend. I bought the sand color and will most likely order other colors.

These are the perfect shoes for comfort and professionalism. I can stand all day without distress.

My feet stink there gross on me cause they make my feet stink way to much money for the pain of walking around with whose feet stink, is that yours!

Such a classic. Great for spring and fall. I get compliments on these shoes all the time. Best part is that my feet don't hurt after a day of walking.

Love these shoes! This is my first pair of Dansko's that I've worn without my custom orthotics and they are wonderful! I have chronic nerve pain in my feet and struggle to find shoes that are both cute and supportive. I wear these all day and several times a week and I feel they have great support. And everyone stops to ask me where they are from!

Cute and comfy! I haven't had a chance to get regular pedicures in...a while (since my son was born a year and a half ago, to be exact) and wanted to find cute sandals that didn't mean I'd have to have cute toes to wear them. These look good and feel good and I really like the color!

I bought these shoes for my sweetheart. They look great on her. Yum! She loves them. All of her co-workers say they love them too.

These shoes are so amazingly cute. If you have wide feet or high arches you may or may not have problems with the toe portion. I have both and I find the toe portion to be slightly tight but I am keeping them because I feel it will stretch and will not bother me for the time being. Plus, they are too cute and fit great other than the aforementioned. I wear these in a 43 and I wish there were more styles available in the 43!

This shoe is beautiful and comfortable. Looks cute with leggings, jeans, dresses, you name it! My first comfort shoe i'm excited to show off! Unfortunately, I will be exchanging this pair as I ordered the sand-colored ones thinking they would blend in nicely, but the color looks more like a taupe (the flat brown color commonly used on senior citizen shoes) than a neutral leather.

These shoes are greatness! Fit is great and so comfortable. Love the way they look! I would recommend them to anyone.

Great Shoe from Dansko. Comfortable walking ALL DAY LONG; very stylish with dresses ,pants skirts. Just love the fit of Dansko Sam. As always, Zappos has superb service.

First, the red is really cute. Be aware that these shoes do not have the arch support that other Dansko shoes have. Maybe it is because they are open and it might look funny. They are clogs, so they have big soles and kind of clack when you walk but that is to be expected. I am heartbroken that they did not fit my feet because they cut across my little toe in a spot that hurts. It is my feet, not the shoes. I think they are way cute and would look great with both skirts and pants.

I have a slightly wider than average foot and bunions. These shoes have a wide toe box and excellent support. I got them in brown and like them so well, I got them in black. I wear them with very light socks in the winter to work and can stand on my feet and walk all day. Great shoes.

I like the heel height because I can dress it up or down. I can wear it for a long period of time and not feel tired! Love it.

Loving my Danskos - after patiently waiting for my size to get back in stock, as usual, Zappos stellar customer service let me know they were available. I work retail and am on my feet all day, and this shoe makes it a lot more tolerable. Love!

Cute, cute, cute. Looks good with dresses too. Lovely leather, very soft leather. Has more of a rustic look which goes w most of my clothes. The straps keep them on squarely and we have plenty of toe box for our precious toes.

Warning: the insole is unlike other Dansko's in that it is not leather, therefore, if you wear these shoes without socks (which the style kind of demands) they will stink. Any shoe that doesn't have a leather insole will smell without a barrier between your foot and itself. I am extremely disappointed that Dansko chose to cheapen the shoe by doing this, as their many other styles have leather insoles. Sad.

These are amazing. I wore them just briefly, then for three days straight walking around Milan. They are comfy, stylish, and supportive. Cute with both pants and skirts. Worth every penny!

These are closer to the 1/2 size than the larger end of the size spectrum. The arch is higher than I expected from a clog.

I like these a lot, typical Dansko quality! They are not my most comfortable Dansko shoes and my big toes rub the front of the shoe and not matter how tight I make the ankle strap. But they are good for my daily walks to work and maybe will be more comfy after they are broken in a bit. I wouldn't order these again but would definitely try another Dansko style.
