I loved these shoes from the second they arrived. I bought them for work because our tasting room requires black shoes and ballet flats just don't cut it. The first day I got them I refused to take them off because they were so comfortable. I'm a size 7.5 and I ordered a size 38. For this particular shoe it was perfect. They look absolutely adorable with jeans and the black slacks I have to wear to work. And they more than support my feet while I'm at work. That's saying something because I have pretty high arches and my feet can get sore quickly standing for 7 hours a day. I'm thinking about getting them in the other 2 colors, not for work but just because I love how well they fit and how cute they are!

I bought these shoes about ten years ago when they were still made with nubuck suede. They are awesome and can still be worn to this day. Because they were made with suede at that time they did not cut into my feet so I cannot speak to that.

Finally found these in the euro 43. The fit is great. I have long narrow size 11, and Dansko usually fits short and wide for me. When I found these one size larger than I would normally purchase I was worried they would be too wide. However, not so. The way the front fits around the top takes care of everything.

Love Zappos. Seems Dansko sizing is now smaller since I have worn them for years. Great quality, but just too small for me.

Love these shoes. I have a retail job that keeps me on my feet for long hours. These shoes keep my feet and legs happy. Plus, they look great with skirts and dresses - Dansko clogs although delightfully comfy, look silly with skirts and dresses at my age.

Just wanted to say "ditto" to everyone who suggested getting a size larger than you think you need. My Dansko professionals are a 39, but I needed a 40 in the Sams to give my long toes enough room.

This is my second pair of Dansko Sam. I got it in black as well. I love that it's very comfy and stylish. I highly recommend this!

I never, ever write internet reviews. In fact, this is my first ever. If you're like me and need a wide shoe, these are one of the only Danskos that fit the bill. I've been through more pairs of Danskos trying to find a good width, and these are it! The holy grail! They are comfortable, stable, and not too heavy at all. I want them in every color.

Well, I have really enjoyed this sandal. I'm a stylist on my feet for long hours. I have sand dollar, pretty with white. Hope this is not discontinued. Today I'm sure this shoe is a keeper, my son & I had to push start my car. You guessed it, I was wearing Sam running to push my car. Wow, they were comfortable even at 44! How many shoes could you say that about?

These shoes are heaven on earth. Every other shoe in my order felt like a cement block after I'd tried on these clogs. The leather is soft, and they were lighter weight than I'd anticipated adding to their appeal for me. I typically wear a size 9.5 or 10 M shoe but I wear a size 41 in Danskos. Love these shoes!

I love Dansko, and was hoping these would be the same fit and comfort, but a little more 'summery'. They are, and my feet were immediately happy in them. Zappos always sends them so quickly...thanks.

Love. Why did I wait this long to try a pair of Dansko's? As long as I moving my feet do not hurt; standing in one spot my feet start to hurt in about an hour. Out of the box I stood in these shoes for about 11 hours. I wear a 7.5-8 and ordered a 38. They fit perfect. These shoes were made in China which was a surprise to me. I checked into it further and they are made in both Italy and China. They look even better on than they do in the picture!

These are perfect! Ever-so-slightly too long for my 6 1/2 foot, but nothing major. The leather is soft, and required little breaking in. I can easily walk over a mile per day in these.

I love these. They are true to size and good even for a narrow foot, offering great arch support too. Especially nice is the soft footbed and leather on the shoe itself.

Comfortable right out of the box. I bought and wore these for a business trip to travel in and wear with multiple outfits in a hot and humid climate. I walked from my hotel to the conference and wore them all day. Only at the very end of a very long day with a lot of walking did the strap rub on one foot - not the front of the shoe though. The leather is very soft, and the heel height is dressy but comfortable. I wear an 8 1/2 to 9 and have a wide forefoot and very high arches, and the 39 fit perfectly. I do see how they are a tad shorter than the professional clogs, but they still fit me just fine.

I have foot problems resulting from neuroma surgery four years ago. These shoes are fabulous. The arch support allows me to walk pain free. They run true to size. I'm ordering one in each color!

I love these and have worn them practically every day since I got them. A very comfortable and stylish shoe to wear to the office. Only two slight caveats: 1) The toe box gets hot, so I probably won't wear these as the weather really warms up. Great for spring, not so much when the mercury reaches 80. 2) I broke an ankle several years ago, and while it's far from cankle dimensions, the strap on that ankle is a bit snug. I'm hoping the leather will stretch you enough as they get broken in.

I love all my Danskos but these are unlike the fit of the clogs. they are smoothly contoured inside and feels like you're walking on a cloud. I am a 9 in clogs but with open back sandals I like a 9.5 and these fit perfectly in the 9.5. My foot is a little wider in the mid section so the 9.5 made them look more slender as the 9 made it look like I had fat feet. I can literally run in these! My friend who always wears heels has now bought 2 pairs of these.

I bought my first pair of this style to wear with shirts and dress pants absolutely love them. Went back for the ocean blue and not available. Please make in all colors green, purple, yellow. I use Dansko exclusively because of back and leg problems and no more problems, I did try the canvas but did not have any luck. I might try the Dansko that has a little higher heel with a closed in toe box.

Love it - runs true to Dansko size, comfy right out of the box. A very cute summer version of the shoe.

I love these shoes! I am a huge Dansko fan because I have wide feet and back problems and Danskos offer amazing support and a generous footbed. These shoes are absolutely adorable( even on my wide feet), and so comfortable. They are great with a skirt or jeans, very versatile.

I love Dansko Sam's, and this is my third pair, however, as the Honey Distressed color was sold out I bought the Sand Dollar instead. I definitely do not love the color. But I need the shoes, so I am keeping them...

These fit pretty well, and I love the way the look. Unfortunately, my skin is very fragile, and the edge of the toe cup is too stiff for me. It will bruise me if I wear it without socks, but the shoe fits too closely to have room for a sock. I may try again in a larger size.

I ordered my usual Dansko size and these were a good fit. Very comfortable shoe. I wish they came in a lower heel, but I like these enough to order another pair. I'm always looking for cute, closed toe shoes that have good arch support.

My toes swam a bit in the toe box, and the color wasn't appealing to me in person. The shoes are very comfortable though.
