I need black closed toed shoes for work and this is the closest design to the Dansko maryjane style shoes I have been wearing for years. These are cute, and comfortable sole, good support. But they are too short- I normally wear 42 in Dansko, and after reading reviews about sizing up, I bought the 43 and they were still too short. My large toe was touching the front of the shoe. I couldn't be more disappointed. They went back the next day.

These are very nice shoes that would probably work well for someone as long as you don't have high arches. I have very high arches and the straps were too tight on the first hole. They needed about .25 inches more strap to be comfortable for me. I was worried that it would stretch out so had to return them but really liked the look of the sandals.

This is a super cute shoe with excellent arch support! I usually can't go long without my orthotic, which is really difficult in the warmer months. Although I can't wear my orthotic in these Danskos, the arch support is excellent and feels great on my feet! They look great with pants, shorts or dresses.

Perfect fit. Same size as my other Dansko clogs, heels and athletic shoes. I have this style in brown, but have wanted the red and am very happy! It's a pretty bright red- different than the Bria cinnabar which is a deeper raspberry. Light and comfortable right out the box!

These fit true to size. They are almost as comfortable as the Brenna style. They are dressier and work barefoot. The strap is a bit hard to get on, but I prefer not to unbuckle them, That would make it easy. The hard sole is what I seek and these provide the support needed for my tender metatarsal joint. The top comes up high enough to not cut into that joint.

I love these shoes! I wore them to sing in a concert requiring nearly 2 hours standing and my feet felt great! Wore them to church the next day, my ankle twisted and the strap broke. The leather had not been sewn down, only glued. It was only on that one side. An oversight I’m sure. I had to send them back. Plan to order again!

Very cute! I like the closed toes, the color and the heel height. Clogs are very loud and clompy, though, so no sneaking quietly in these!

I love the color but it too wide.

These clog type round toe stitched rather than stapled sling backs are just what I wanted but as one other review stated, they run slight short at big toe. I wear Dansko size 38 in clogs which measure one inch longer than these so I'm debating whether to try 39 or simply return them. The width is fine, somewhere between N and M the strap hits me where it should so a 39 might be just not right. We'll see. I recommend these though if you normally wear a 7 1/2. ( I'm pretty much 8 in Merrell, Alegria, Sorel, Crocs, Keen, my other go to choices)

Received these with no original packaging, and schmutz/fuzz and bits of dirt in the foot bed so must assume that this pair is often returned. Ages ago I had a pair of this style that were very comfortable, but sadly these didn't fit at all. To compare, I also got the Dansko Tiffani, both in a size 38. When put side by side they look like they are the same size, but on the foot Sam feels an entire size smaller - I was getting a sort of foot 'muffin top' and my toes were nearing the end of the toe box. The Tiffani in the same size was a bit roomy, definitely felt like a true 38. Aside from quality control issues, which is sad in a shoe that costs over $120, the only other conclusion is that the shoe I was sent was not a 38 - there were no size markings anywhere on it, and the original packaging was lost.

l love the dansko shoe styles but they run one half size too small. The size 12 are are really 11 1/2. l need a real 12.

Fit and comfort are good.

I love Dansko shoes and have several pairs. This shoe has a great look and color, but after trying 2 sizes I still had to return both. For me the toe box was much tighter than a typical Dansko shoe or boot. Sad to see them go! Even a larger size felt too small.

On the plus side, I love a flatform sole. I am taller in these shoes and I want that. On the other hand, the leather is a little hard. The old model had soft leather, but its changed. I took a star off because there is no leather strip over the insole. So I can't put pads in the front of the shoe ( one foot is bigger than the other, for one reason), because there's no strip to fasten them under.

These fit just like my other Dansko shoes - both sandals and clogs. They provide great support for my metatarsal joint and look stylish.

It was good and comfortable!

I'm a size 8.5 and the 39 fit perfectly. I opened the box, put them on, and walked out the door to a Halloween parade. They were 100% comfortable and the perfect Fall shoe. I plan to wear them with socks as the weather gets colder. I got the blue and am super pleased with the color and finish - they're a nice casual shoe for wearing with jeans when you're out and about. I had previously purchased the black but didn't like how shiny they were so I exchanged them. Hint: an oiled black upper with a brown outsole would be a great combo. That said, I love the blue.

LOVE these mary janes! They are my go-to professional shoes for presenting and special work days. Super comfortable but also cute enough that people know I care about looking professional. Love, love, love my Sams! Wish they offered them in more colors, especially gray and red!! These are way better than the new Tiffanis because these don't use any hook and loop closures. When I am paying a premium for a pair of shoes, I do not want hook and loop closures. Love these!

Unfortunately these shoes were a little to stiff for me as well as a bit too narrow. I know leather stretches but I don't want to get blisters waiting for that to happen. For these reasons I need to return them.

Nice leather upper and well made overall. Good support and comfy insole. Every Dankso I own (half a dozen pairs!) is size 40, but this one feels a bit short and just a touch wide for my foot (this is perhaps due to the style). This is just the shoe I was looking for but the fit is "off" enough that I wouldn't find it comfortable. I'm disappointed because I had high hopes for this one.

Much smaller that previous similarly styled Danskos, but they are actually more flattering and less clunky in a slimmer, shorter fit. I don’t mind clunky, but it’s nice to have something new. 42 normally feels a half size too big for me, but this 42 felt a half size too small. I wore them for brief periods of time and the ankle strap relaxed a bit making them nice and comfy.

What a reliable shoe. After three times wearing them, my dance clothes are broken and so wonderful for my high arches. Very few shoes are comfortable for long – but these are an outstanding product.

So comfy. Have to be a little aware so you don't turn an ankle, but overall very easy to wear and great for standing for long periods.

I love these shoes and sad that I could not keep them. The strap is too short, impossible to buckle and the shoe is too tight across the forefoot. If I knew they could be stretched I would have kept them though the strap still too short.
