I wish I could give these shoes 6 stars. I’m 26 years old, I run, and have some foot issues now (read: bunions). I would probably wear nothing but Danskos if I could afford to. They may be a little spendy, but they last! To me, that in addition to the comfort and support they provide makes them worth it. I like that the Sam shoe has a nice laid back look to them but they’re clean cut too. I wear these with jeans, skirts, leggings, and just about anywhere I need to go and my feet don’t get sore and tired as they do in other shoes. If you’ve never had a pair of Danskos before, do your homework and understand how they fit, and then give them a try. There’s a reason so many people love them. I served in restaurants for several years and once I got myself a pair of Danskos, I never went back to any other kind of shoe.

These shoes saved my life! I work 8 hour retail shifts and my feet and back were so painful I would almost be in tears when I got home. I got the size 39 - a perfect fit for my wide 81/2 or 9 feet. The red is adorable worn with anything! I get tons of compliments on them. There was no breaking in period and the footbed is nice and cushioned. I’ll probably buy a black pair in the fall. Definitely worth the price!

Comfy shoe but just a tad too small. Next size would be too big. Very cute shoe!

These sandals feel 1 size larger than my 5.5 size. They are very comfortable and cute but too big for my feet. Had to return.

I owned an older model of this shoe for about 25 years. They finally fell apart and I was thrilled to find that it's still available in this awesome color. Great right out of the box - love Dankos!

uncomfortable. they dug into the top of my foot even after adjusting the strap several times to give relief and still caused blisters.

I’m a big time clog wearer, so these are a perfect summer time clog. In the winter I always wear socks with my clogs so it’s nice to have these for the summer, I’m on my feet most of the day and at the end of the day my feet are not tired or sore. Really a great shoe!! Cute too!!

Absolutely LOVE these shoes. Great arch and foam support, and the front is perfect for my wide feet...had to return because they're too long. Wish Dansko would make size 35 shoes. I LOVE Zappos for their lightening fast shipping and excellent customer service! I've been shopping with Zappos for more than 10 yrs. and highly recommend this online company. Once you shop at Zappos, you won't want to shop anywhere else.

Very cute. Just got the wrong size. I am a 6.5-7. I would lean slightly more towards a seven. I purchased a 36 thinking I might fit, since I sometimes do wear a 36, but it was just too small.

I love Danskos. I really wanted to love these shoes and wear them for work. The left shoe fit like a dream. But the strap on the right shoe cut into my ankle. I found no relief after adjusting it. My foot tried to compensate by leaning toward the right, so after a few hours I had a blister on my ankle and another on the top of my foot. In addition, the front of the clogs scuffed almost immediately from basic walking. I'm sorry to have to return these after wearing them. It's not something I typically do. Perhaps the right shoe was cut differently than the left. Thank you, Zappos.

I have had heel pain for 7 years. Wore these all Day yesterday and at the end of the day had ZERO pain. As a PT as well, I highly recommend!

I love these! The 38 was for perfect for my size 8 feet. The support is amazing. I am so glad to finally find a pair of shoes that are comfortable and good quality. They are worth every penny.

oh Sam, how you’ve changed!! this is my third pair of [black] Sams. the last pair ordered in 5/14 was a pebbled leather and was much too pliable. I had a couple of turned ankles while wearing the older style. THIS one is more like the full-grain [red] style. VERY STURDY. Couldn’t be happier. Well done, Danksko!!

Comfortable shoe, a bit hard to clean and keep smelling nice. Excellent Zappos customer service experience with this purchase. Spilled melted butter on shoe while making kids lunch and stained/ruined it, day after purchased. Zappos sent me a new pair, as a one time courtesy . Very much appreciated! Treated second pair of shoes right after purchase and have had a year now, no problems.

I wanted to love these, but had two major issues: 1) I have wider feet (but not as wide as some) and the edges of the toe box cut into my feet and did not seem to loosen up after wearing them around the house 2) the cloth lining of the footbed is SWEAT CITY. My feet started sweating almost immediately in these, and I can see how they would get smelly verrryyy quickly. Might have kept these and tried to break them in more if they had a leather insole like other Danskos. Very disappointed to have to return them.

Loved them. Felt just like the classic clogs except that they run small... got my normal size 39 and they were definitely too short. Ordering up a size.

I’ve worn Danskos for over 20 years and used to love them but I feel like the last couple of pairs I’ve tried have been way off. A size 38 in one style is like a boat on my (average proportioned) foot while others feel tiny. I bought the “Sam” in the Sand Dollar and they were SO TIGHT. The strap dug into my foot even at the last notch, and the top was so tight around the top of my foot that it gave foot muffin - is that a thing? Likewise, they seemed super short and therefore looked cartoony. I wore them around for half a day inside to see if they may loosen, but they’re still hard as rock and too tight. I feel bad ordering and needing to return so many Danskos to Zappos over the year. In the other style I got, the 38 was so big that my foot almost came out walking, but in the 37 my toes barely fit.

Fit was good but color was disappointing.

I wore Dansko's for years but found them to be inconsistent in sizing and quality over the past years. I wore these exactly 4 times and the toe box is so scuffed up the leather is even peeling off. I have a pair of Dansko's that are 5+ years old that don't look as bad as these.I still LOVE Zappos!

I am really disappointed that I can't keep these shoes. They are about a half size too small, so I need to return. However, they are very comfortable and look nice. I also wish that the strap was velcro instead of a buckle.

Love these clogs. My second pair to run errands in around town. The only issue I have is that they are made in China and the heel is a hard plastic. Very comfortable if you wear a medium width shoe but maybe wide for narrow feet.

I love these shoes. I bought the same style years ago and decided to try them again but this some in the dark brown. The height seems a little lower this time, which is fine, but noticed. I love them, they were perfect for a full workday right out of the box I would give it 5* if they were a little hardier. While I work in an unfriendly shoe environment, first grade classroom, I was still surprised to see that they scuffed very easily. So, after wearing them two times to work I already need to oil them and I realize their days of looking great are limited. Huge bummer because I would wear them everyday.

Cute shoes, they were too narrow for me, to be honest these shoes had a funny smell, an odor that I did not think leather should have.Returned them.

Love these shoes! Very versatile and can be worn Spring, Summer, & Fall.
