super cute, but too narrow. even with loosening the buckle a notch, my foot spilled over the edge. not a fan of that. back they go...

The lining is a strange material that make the feet feel hot and uncomfortable immediately. The heel is too narrow making the shoe unstable to walk in - felt like I could twist an ankle.

At first glance I thought the bottom of the shoe was wood but it is actually a hard rubber that over time gets a tiny bit cushiony and my fear is that my ankle will twist and I'm terrified that I will fall. I ordered two pairs and I've worn one pair in the house trying them out because it's just not firm enough for me to wear outside the house so to say the least I am very disappointed because the description on the website does not say that the sole is a hard rubber nor does it say that it's not wood. Now in the beginning I had to loosen the strap because it was too tight but over time as the leather gave it became to loose so with the hard rubber sole and the shoe loosening I was really confused and had to really think while wearing them so I tightened the straps again so for me this was a tricky shoe and dangerous I'm keeping the one pair and wear them in the house and I walk slow but the second pair is being returned. So if you're looking for a hard firm shoe just know this is hard rubber and not wood. I was very disappointed in the shoe and it's not a cheap shoe the arch support was amazing in the beginning but it's not as supportive as the shoe breaks in. I would not recommend if your looking for serious support for feet and legs.

I usually wear a 39, but they were a bit tight and short. Returned for a 40, which felt fine width-wise, but were too long. I would have liked more arch support, but that's usually the case with me. Had to return the 40 as well. Was excited for a minute there that I might have some super cute Spring/Summer kicks. But no.

These shoes shredded my feet to bits. The straps rub and cause terrible blisters. Stay far away if your feet are even slightly sensitive. They work okay for me to wear in the office, but forget about wearing them outside on a sweaty day, much less walking miles in them like I do with most of my shoes.

I own 3 other pairs of this exact style shoe. I have never had any issues with the shoes but for some reason the pair i received broke. I never made it out of my house the first time I was wearing them. Glad it happened on my way to work and not while i was at work.

The strap across the toes sticks straight out when you slip the shoe on! It doesn't lay flat. Design flaw. Returning the shoes. I love Dansko but this one doesn't cut it.

Terrible experience because of the foot bed. Foot bed is made of a suede-like fabric on an absorbent base: essentially, the footbed is a sponge. Bad choice for a sandal, exposed to the elements in hot weather in the summer. If you're wearing them in the city, or near streets at all, if your feet sweat, etc., the foot beds become nasty smelly sponges with ugly footprints in them very quickly. I ended up having to wash my Sophie foot beds every week just to keep them looking decent (air dry outside) and to avoid the ick. FAIL. Leather or faux leather is a much better choice for a foot bed. At least it isn't a sponge.

I am very disappointed with these sandals. I have never had any problems with Danskos, but these gave me blisters on the tops of my feet where strap is. Ouch! I have about 9 pairs of Dansko shoes and sandals and it is usually out of the box and go.

The size on the shoe itself said my size but it was several inches smaller than any of my shoes. They fit my daughter who wears a size 6 so I'm not sure what was up with these shoes. Of course, she wanted them because they were so comfortable!

It was very narrow. I know I have wide feet but I couldn't even get my foot in. I can't give it stars since I couldn't put it on.

These shoes run very small. I returned one pair and ordered a size larger. The straps made horrible blisters on my toes. I'll stick with closed toe Dansko's from now on.

This shoe hurts my heel and my toes in that the shoe is uncomfortable, it feels like your toes have to much pressure on them when you walk. the quality of the leather is not good either and looks like it is old and will not hold up to long term wear. This shoe also hurts my heels.

This is a very nice shoe... however the footbed is smaller than all my other Danskos that are the same size. Had to return it.

Very comfortable and attractive--can use for casual or for dress up. I wear them with everything!

I've worn this style (Sophie) for years and really like them. Not sure why the company is making them in only one color now and would encourage them to expand the options in future. Fit perfectly, wear well, really comfortable.

Extremely comfortable for sandals with a heel. I wear these for hours at a time. And they wear very well. I’m on my third or fourth year with the same pair.

These are as comfortable and easy to walk in as the ones I wore out several years ago! Thank you, Dansko, for continuing the style.
