I'm so disappointed in this show. They are so cute and seem like they would be comfortable, but the 42 was a full half inch shorter than another Dansko sandle I have in size 42 which fits perfectly.

I had a pair of the dansko Sophie for several years that I just loved. Recently, the sole split in half, leading me to shop for a new pair. The colors this show comes in are unimpressive, including this brown. It's so flat it almost looks plastic-y. Ugh.

These Danskos rise at the toe more than my others. I have had bunion surgery so I don’t have flexibility in the front of my feet. Cute shoes but I have to return them

I have about four other Dansko sandals in a 39, but I didn't like the fit of these in 39. I do get a 40 in their clogs, but it is roomy for my high arch and inserts and thick socks - I measure a true 8.5-9. My foot is voluminous due to my high arch. They didn't look terribly small on, except that my big toe sort of goes off the angled toe bed a smidge when I put weight on the shoe. I just couldn't take that drastic toe spring/curl, whatever you call it. I understand that in a low-motion shoe, something needs to have some give or a rocker motion, but I don't understand why it can't happen in the sole instead of the footbed. It forces my big toe up in an unnatural way and aggravates my MTP arthritis. I imagine that dry-lex footbed would get dirty easily, but it does feel wonderful and seems like it would prevent any sliding/slippage. Love that the sole is a light color vs the usual comfort black sole, and that it has some give for uneven pavement. Straps were nice, soft, adjustable. I just can't take the toe torque.

the shoes are really cute, but they run a bit small, i feel that the next size up may be too big, so i must return. i did order the Manda, which fit better. Very comfortable.

This runs much smaller than the clogs. Foot bed by the toes is very narrow and toes hung off the sides. Am going to try going up a size. Incredible comfortable and hope the larger size will work for me.

I was looking forward to the Dansko arch support in this sandal but it was too wide for my foot. Once I tightened the straps there was too much strap hanging over. The overall look was unflattering for me.

This sandal runs really wide. Nice looking, but sent them back.

I've been eyeing this color for a long time as I have two other pairs of Sophie's and they are exceptionally comfortable! I was so excited to get these but once I did, I saw they had a lot more red/pink in them than I thought based on the pictures. I am not loving that so am returning them. So bummed! Also this particular pair seem to run a size small although that has not been my experience with other Sophie's. I think this pair is just mislabeled.

First let me say I love Zappos customer service and I love the Dansko brand, however I returned these due to material used to achieve this color option. I am unsure if they will hold up and maintain appearance for long.

I have several pairs and love how they fit but HATE how the footbeds feel after a few hours on my feet. Even in my over-air conditioned office, just walking around, they start too feel very wet and uncomfortable after a while. I wish the footbeds could be the smooth leather like they have on some other shoes. I know it is not a flaw because I have several pairs and they all do the same thing.

I loved the shoe in every respect except sizing. I read the other reviews, indicating one should size up. I did that. However, this shoe size conversion from European to American sizes is definitely off. I had to order a 43, the equivalent of a 12. I wear a 10.

This Dansko didn't work out so well. My big toe hung off the end while my heel was at the back of the shoe, and my narrow foot just ended up looking wide. Guess I am swapping out for a different shoe.

I am sure this sandal is comfortable...if I could only get my foot into it. I ordered a size larger as recommended and still could not get my very wide foot to enter the sandal. Yes, the buckle was moved as far as it could go, but sadly, I must return it. However, it looks amazing.

I really wanted to like these sandals, as they're incredibly cute and the suede footbed looks like it would be great for hot summer days. However, the straps were just too stiff out of the box, even after adjusting, and their rough edges felt like Blister City was around the corner. I'm sure they'd be fine after one took the time to break them in, but I needed something sooner and went with the Dansko Jessie sandal instead.

Love the Sophie sandals by Dansko. So comfy and I always get compliments. I have the black and taupe colors from last year. The only issue that I have with them is that the amazingly comfortable footbed absorbs moisture but it does not dry out quickly and gets quite odoriferous. As a result I don't feel comfortable wearing. I have tried a few things to solve for the issue to no resolution. Trying the Jessie as they have a leather footbed hoping that will be better.

I thought that they would be black with shiny black scaly surface. On the pair I received the scaly surface was white. From a distance they don't really look black, as much as gray. Pretty, but not what I was looking for, and not what they appear to be in the picture.

I should've read through more posts, because I would agree they run narrower and smaller than other Dansko. I have four other pairs and I'm consistently a 38; I should've gone one size up in the Sophie. Other than that, they are the most comfortable pair of sandals have!

These are comfortable right out of the box. The strap placement is far enough back so that it does not cut into the top of the foot. My complaint with Dansko, and it is not a new feature with this shoe, is the fake suede-like poly footbed material. It looks good at first, but it easily gets dirty, attracts dirt it does not absorb sweat and by the end of the season, there will be a darkened foot impression that just looks nasty. But I buy them anyways because there are so few options out there.

I love Dansko clogs, so I was excited to try their sandals. After reading so many glowing reviews of the black shagreen color, I decided to give it a shot. The sandals are comfy, but I don't like the black shagreen color. It's almost like a black suede with a spray of semi-glossy/iridescent white and moss/minty green spots. I'd prefer a pair of black wear-with-anything sandals. So I'm returning the black shagreen shoes to try a different color.

I wear a size 9 and ordered a size 40 and it is short, but I have to tighten the buckles all the way so a bigger size will probably be too big. They seemed really comfortable if you can wear them!

Ordered Dansko Sheri's at the same time and love them. These were a little funky style wise for me...
