I normally take a size 40 but read the reviews and ordered a 41...perfect. Dansko is one of the very few brands that you can trust to be a little on the wide side which suits my needs to a tee. You can also trust that there will be adequate arch support and that the materials will be good quality. A little clunky and heavy but overall a worthy addition to my wardrobe.

These shores are exceptionally comfortable. I read the reviews and noticed that several individuals wrote they ran short. I wear a size 9 so I decided to go from a 39 to a size 40 for both pairs. Mistake. Neither pair works as my toes and heels rest right on the edge. I will have to return both. I will say that the metallic black is fun and not your typical black sandal.

Def go up a size. They are cute, however this is my second pair of the new Dansko sandals where the toe bed feels short and I almost have toe over hang. And I don’t have long toes!

I have an old pair of Born's that I love. I like this shoe, however, I wear an 8.5 and they are definitely a size too small. However, if I order one size up they are going to be way too wide and sloppy.

As is typical with European sizing, the 42 is not (for me) equivalent to my standard 11 M. It always runs smaller than U.S. purported equivalent.

I usually wear WW or even a double EE width and even though they were adjustable, the style was just too small and narrow for me. I also have a high arch and instep (lucky me). I have better luck with Dansko boots and after reading a reviewer suggestion, I bought the Dansko Martina and I'm in LOVE! They are so cute, comfy, and I get complements on them.

Heeding previous reviews that suggested sizing up, I chose a 40 instead of 39, and it fit my size 9 perfectly.

These sandals are true to size and offer great support. The adjustable buckles are also nice, so you can get the fit you need. These sandals look great with a skirt or jeans. Great purchase!

lovelovelove these shoes! I ordered them in another color. I have a narrow foot and they have buckle straps did allow me to make them narrower. Very dressy looking sandal with height but not too much

I usually wear a 10.5 or 11. These were just a little too narrow at the toe area and the arch didn't seem to hit me in quite the right spot. I think they'll be very comfortable for the right person. I like the color. It will go with anything. I think they'll be great for the right person. I kept the Dansko, Susie Mills Mango Nubuck, pair. They were the same size but fit me better.

Excellent support! Order one size up! I’m size 8 and It was too small. Exchanged it for 8.5-9. I love danskos planning to wear these in the house/ kitchen ceramic tile floors, my feet never hurt after long hours of standing. Thank you zappos for extremely fast shipping!

Love the shoes, ordered another pair in dark brown

These are really cute but even though I'm always a size 10, my toes hung over the edge. Will exchange for larger size.

Straps on inside gave me blisters

Pay attention to previous reviewers, order one size up. I had to exchange mine. What is my usual size had my feet hanging over the back. ?? Otherwise, I know I will love these. Also, use deodorant or rubbing alcohol on your feet before wearing if you don't shower everyday. They will trap odor.

The size was spot on, and I love that the straps are adjustable, as my feet run a bit narrow. The footbed is very comfortable and the shoe is light so effortless to walk in. This is my second pair, I'm a fan!

This is my first pair of Danskos - I bought because a good friend with foot trouble swears by them. The length and footbed are perfect and feel amazing. I’ve opened the straps as far as they will go, and they’re still a little snug. I’m trusting that they will break in.

Love Dansko shoes but they run at least one size too small. I wear a standard US 11 and the 42 NEVER fits (too short).

These are super cute and comfortable - just a bit smaller than I expected so I had to return them.

Dansko Sophie is my go-to shoe because of its perfect arch support. (I have plantar fasciitis.) I wear this style year-round: outside in the summer, and as my slippers in the winter. Am disappointed this season because there’s no skin-tone option (beige, in my case). Tried the gold, and it turned out to be sort of an ugly brownish gold. Also tried the brown, but it’s just too dark for me. Returned both these colors and ended up finding some past-year “windowpane” color on another website. Sorry, Zappos - I tried you guys first, as I always do!

I like them but kinda weird tone. Not one color. It has patterns.

I ordered these in my usual size in Dansko, a 39, because I wear a 8 to 8.5, but they're too short. I don't like to see my toes hanging over the top. I'm afraid a larger size won't work either so I'm returning these. Too bad because it's a cute style, really like the Black Stained Glass which would go with so many things.

When I first tried the shoe on, it seemed a bit snug, but after normal wear is perfect. I much prefer it to Dansko Jessie, which stretched out too much after wear.

Danskos are about the only brand of footwear, that I own and wear. These sandals are perfect for wearing to work or out. I love the dark brown color.

A beautiful shoe, and I love the sand stained glass which is colorful but not too garish. But the heel was too high for my arthritic big toe (hallux rigidus), so sadly I had to send them back. Otherwise, a great shoe.
