I should have paid more attention to the reviewers who warned that these shoes were too short. After all, I've owned several pairs of Dansko sandals, and the same size has always worked for me in the past. I was wrong this time! I had to return the first pair I ordered in exchange for the next size up. I'm glad I took the trouble--these are great. The arch support is fabulous! I put them on for the first time this morning and hopped on the treadmill (the way I break in shoes). Walked a mile, and no sore spots--not one! I think I'm going to get many more happy miles with these.

These shoes are like walking on pure happiness! Everything you need in one shoe. Arch support, height, comfortable foot bed...I wear the closed clog version in the winter. These are now my go-to summer shoe.

This is my first pair of Danskos, I ordered them in the Blue Shagreen which is a really fun color. I am very pleased with these sandals, so much so that I ordered another pair in the black moray! The arch support is excellent and I like the height that they give as well. As one with special foot needs, meaning I need to wear shoes constantly that have good arch support, I cannot wear any sort of heel. So the extra height is really nice, and they are not clunky at all. Most importantly they are very comfortable to walk in, and the straps are adjustable which is nice as well. I am glad that I gave Dansko a try! 5 stars.

Extremely comfortable and perfect fit right out of the box! I wore them right and away and want to wear them all the time. I love the Iridescent Blue Shagreen color. It's a little different and a little extra style without being too much for everyday wear with shorts or jeans even. This is the first backless shoe I've been able to find that felt secure and that my foot doesn't slip out of. Also I have bunions, flat feet, knee and back issues, but these are absolutely comfortable and give me no problems. Total win.

They are so comfortable and good looking too. Love them. I have a wide foot and they are adjustable to width.

I am just recovering from 17 years of fighting plantar fascia in both heels so I have a lot of trouble finding stylish shoes, particularly sandals, that provide enough arch and metatarsal support for comfort and sustaining the healing. These are the most comfortable sandals I've ever owned! I wore them for the first time to a wedding, danced all night in them, and they felt like airbags under my feet on a solid foundation! I never had to break them in: they were comfortable from the first time I slipped them on. I feel tall, comfortable, and graceful in these Sophies! I'm going to buy a pair in every color.

Really comfortable. Wonderful that you can adjust both straps since I have very thin feet. They aren't narrow-just thin. The color blends in well w/ my pale skin to give an all nude leg look that goes w/ casual skirts and dresses. These aren't dressy at all, but they're not too cloddy, either. I love the size 35. It's so difficult for me to find small shoes. I wish Dansko would carry their entire line in size 35.

This sandals are amazing. Adjustable straps make for a perfect fit. Did need to go up a size though - regular size 10 needed a 42 in these. My other Danskos are 41s. You will love these.

These are the most comfortable sandals I've worn. They fit me perfectly and the front strap hits just above the widest part of my foot (just below the pinkie) so it doesn't put undue pressure there. The adjustable straps make the fit easy, and the foot bed is both supportive and cushioned. I love Danksos because I have arthritis in my right big toe, so I can't flex it much at the large joint there. The combination of a firm sole and the upward curve of the front of the shoe allows my foot to move smoothly without flexing the toe. Overall, I love these sandals -- I also bought a second pair in brown!

Love them! Soft footbed, adjustable straps, color coordinates with everything! Great for strolling and standing; choose a different shoe for chasing children and catching buses. Runs larger than the Dansko Pippa.

I love this shoe. So much so that I bought 2 other pairs in different colors. It is very comfortable and I have bunions, bone spurs and all kinds of foot problems. I can walk with these all day -- they were perfect right from out of the box, Very highly recommend. Plus they are cute and not at all old-lady like.

I bought these adorable sandals in the iridescent blue shagreen. They are beyond gorgeous! They actually go really well with all my purple/lavender and teal clothing. These are my first Dansko sandals and they are so incredibly comfortable. It almost feels like I am not wearing shoes, yet plenty of support and padding. Both straps are adjustable. These shoes are dressy yet casual, very versatile.

Dansko have been number one on my list of favorite shoes for years. Finally I have a pair of dressy sandals I can wear for hours. Like all Danskos, these are SO comfortable. And they are built to last.

This is a nice shoe. I had to adjust the buckles for my feet. The heel is a comfortable height to walk in.

Found these shoes at Noordstrom's & they didn't have my size. Went online @ Zappos and had them within 2 days! Love these shoes, so comfortable and such a fun color for summer. Can't go wrong with Dansko and the fast customer service from Zappos can't be beat!!!

These are comfortable right out of the box with great arch support. I have plantar fasciitis and bunions (lucky me!) so I am excited when I can find shoes that are comfortable, supportive and stylish. The buckles make it easy to customize the fit for a narrow or wide foot. I got the Iridescent Blue Shagreen and my students tell me it looks like a mermaid's tail! I love the color and will likely order some more neutral colors of the same shoes.

It's a keeper! I don't get to say that often, either. All day comfort with great support right out of the box for my very finicky feet. These ran a little small. I usually wear a 39 in Danskos, but I needed a 40 in these.

I'm impressed. I'm a very active person who recently injured my knees and was looking for a sandal with good arch support. Until now I've only ever worn flat, stylish sandals with no support. These are crazy comfortable, surprisingly lightweight, and the cutest sandals I could find with a good contoured footbed. I'm still a little unsteady on my feet and using a cane, so I was nervous about the height. The adjustable straps make a secure fit. These feel even better on my knees than my Brooks running shoes for over pronation! I have a regular width foot, but those with wide feet might not like this shoe. If they had half sizes, I would go a half size up, but what I have works fine because the straps prevent my feet from sliding forward.

These sandals are not only extremely comfortable but they are super adorable too. I work in TV and can be in these sandals for a 12 hour full day with zero discomfort. The inner sole is lightly padded and the white patent straps are smooth and form fitting. Another amazing shoe by Dansko. (My mom just received her pair in red and loves 'em!)

These are the most comfortable sandals. They accommodate a bunion on one foot and give good arch support. Nice soft leather. Love them.

Simply love these sandals! They are truly so comfortable...even the first time you where them. Best part is that they are adjustable for narrow feet as I usually wear a 6 1/2N, but when straps are adjusted size 37 fits me perfectly. Thank you Zappos for offering Dansko shoes!

I actually bought these for my mother who does not do the internet. She was amazed how quickly the shoes arrived, and was skeptical that they could be the same as the ones she got locally. However, after they arrived and she wore them at home a little while she decided that they in fact were the very same, and she is very happy with them. She has foot problems and I believe this brand was originally recommended to her by a podiatrist. She says Danskos are one of the few shoes that she is comfortable in. I give them an all 5 rating because she likes them in general and says they are comfortable, but I suppose "style" is somewhat subjective.

I love this shoe. It is so cute. However, it wasn't as comfortable as I thought it would be and there was a bump in the inside pinkie toe area from where the leather for the buckle goes inside the main leather. It hurt my little toe but only on the left side. I ordered them in size 42 and they were a little big so I think I will try a 41 and maybe have better luck.
