Love this color! I already have one pair of these sandals from last year in black and wore them all summer. Was looking for another color and these are so pretty with a subtle multi-color sparkle. What's not to like!

This shoe was incredible! I bought this for a trade show in Anaheim. I walked and stood for two days without sore feet. I will be buying more styles of this brand. So impressed!

I work in a hospital and I'm on my feet most of the day. I work in an area where I can wear nice sandals but they must have the comfort of nurse shoes. I cannot wear traditional Dansko clogs because of wide fore foot and narrow heel. In addition to "hard to fit feet" add in plantar fasciitis and the need for firm arch and a stable footbed. Dansko Sophie is not a glamorous sandal but it is the perfect sandal to cross that "comfort without looking totally orthopedic." I wear a 7.5 and ordered a 38 which fits perfectly. Adjustable straps are also key to a good fit for me. These will be my summer sandals with slacks for work. Thanks Zappos!

I'm in love with these sandals which just arrived today! Probably too soon to write a review but I'm very particular about my shoes and usually I can spot an issue straight away these days. I think I have a teensy high instep so I had to adjust the upper strap to the middle of the 3 holes to accommodate, but thankfully there were 2 other holes to try before deciding on the size. I tend to wear 8 1/2 or 9 in shoes and I got this in the size 39 and it's a perfect fit for me. They're very comfortable just walking around my house so far and I think these will be my go to sandals for Summer. I sort of want other colors in this same shoe but I'll hold off and see how these hold up before I go sandal shopping nuts. I hope Dansko makes these sandals for a long time because I'm in love. Either I find utilitarian sandals that are ugly, or dressy sandals that hurt, and this is a happy compromise of the 2. They're very cute in the black shagreen. I thought they would have more sparkle? Not sure what I thought, but they're definitely very classy looking and I'm glad I opted for this color over the simple black. They have little iridescent spots. So adorable! Now I can have other options other than just flip flops. I doubt I'd wear these to the beach because I'd be afraid of ruining them, but I would absolutely say these are daily casual sandals that also would be great to pair with a dress and go out somewhere. The height is nice, not too tall that I'll fall. Lol. Great sandals. Love them. :)

Great shoes! I wear 7 1/2 M and size 38 fits perfectly. I have never had any problems with brand.

I have 9 pairs of this style (I know!) and with adding the blue and peach floral (picked up Carnivale and violet floral already - purchased elsewhere) that will make 11 pairs of Sophies. This is really all I wear summer/winter (except when it's too cold). I will be so sad when this style is discontinued. I had loved the Selas before this but was very disappointed when I had to replace the elastic strap on all of them. These have no elastic to wear out and are adjustable. I have wide feet but these are fine for me. You can't beat the Sausalito platform.

I love these shoes! I'd rather be barefoot, but you can't always do that. To me Dansko's are the very next best thing. I feel supported and comfortable standing all day. I like the Sophie so much I'm ordering 2 more pairs!

I love this shoe, I have in it 4 colors now. The comfort is there and I usually only wear flats! These have a nice heel with a platform that makes it extra comfortable and still stable. I love that they have adjustable straps, and so many great colors to choose from! I usually wear a 42/11 and have to go up to a 43 in these or my toes hang over the front. Zappos is great at having this larger size!! And I get them quickly! Keep the options coming & I'll keep buying them.

Love! I am a teacher, and have lived in nothing but Dansko Professional clogs and Alegria or Birkenstock sandals for about 7 years now. These are my first pair of Dansko sandals. They fit to absolute perfection, and are super comfy and super cute! I wear a 38 in the professionals (7.5) and the 38 is perfect in the sandals as well. Although they have adjustable straps, I do not think that the footbed would accommodate someone with very wide feet. They feel very stable, have good support, and are great for long days on your feet with no discomfort. Way cuter on my feet than in the picture, and great to wear with basically anything!

I love these shoes. I walked all over Europe in them and never got a blister. Love the adjustable straps, and the color is perfect. Goes with everything.

I bought the Dansko Sophie in Carnivale Leather in a size 39. I like the color and the sparkle of them, and the buckle color blends in nicely. I have other Dansko sandals in a 39 and these fit just the same size. I have wide feet that hurt with rheumatoid arthritis at times, and these are very comfortable with a soft foot-bed and straps that feel fine against my foot. The wide adjustable straps are perfect to make the fit custom. They aren't the prettiest shoe I've had, but then, Dansko is more about comfort than looks, in my opinion.

These are very comfortable, yet look nice enough to wear for dressier occasions--for example with a maxi dress or dress pants. The straps and buckles are very adjustable. I have a very high arch and instep and these fit well and have provided hours and miles of wear. I wish more of Dansko's shoes had the cushion of these shoes.

These shoes are some of the most comfortable I've ever put on my feet! I bought them for a trip to Europe and I did lots of walking. They held up great and my feet didn't hurt the whole time!

I had searched for about 3 weeks for the perfect travel shoes for Portugal. I found them! The Dansko Sophie came with me to Portugal and hiked to the top of some amazing castles! My feet never hurt the entire trip because of these amazing shoes. I highly recommend them!

LOVE these shoes. Love Zappos. I was able to make them narrower than standard with the adjustable buckles. They are comfortable and look sharp, even in my large size feet!

Love them! Bought for wedding. They look and feel great on my feet. Danskos are the only shoes I can wear without my custom orthotics. I danced at Jewish wedding for hours! Best pair of sandals I've ever worn!

These are my favorite shoes. I wish I could wear them year 'round. They were comfortable straight from the box. This is my 2nd pair, but the 1st pair still looks great (new color). The only thing to be careful of is size. I'm a 7.5 in most shoes but wear a 39 in these.

Well worth the money. No break-in period. I am a typical size 7.

These shoes are absolutely fabulous if you need arch support or are like me and have a bad back. I have had 4 back surgeries and Dansko are the only shoes I will wear now. I bought 3 pairs of these shoes in different colors and haven't regretted a second of doing it. They are very stylish for what I call my ortho-shoes. I especially like the fact that you can adjust the straps across the front because my feet tend to swell during the day. I can't say enough about these shoes.

This is my third pair of Danskos. I love these shoes. If you have heel spurs you can wear these shoes without orthotics and not be in pain! They are very comfortable, I get lots of compliments on them.

I have a chronic pain disease and have a very difficult time finding shoes that feel comfortable. These are my favorite sandals ever! The Dansko Pro XP clogs were too heavy for me. I tried so hard to get used to them but just couldn't wear them but LOVE the sandals!

I love these shoes! They are super comfortable. I stand for a large part of the day, and with these shoes my feet and back don't hurt at all! They are really cute shoes too!

I love these shoes...so much I ordered 3 pairs in different colors. I wore them on a mall shopping trip with my granddaughter and they were very comfortable. Ordinarily, my feet and back would would have been in pain by the end of the day. They offer great arch support and the straps allow me to adjust them for my narrow feet.

These are so comfortable! Going up stairs sometimes they slip. I am a teacher and can be on my feet all day.

These might be the perfect summer shoe. I had a pair of Dansko sandals a few years ago which were loose and squishy and ugly. The Sophies, on the other hand, have a very firm footbed, almost like the clogs -- and if you have arch problems at all, you know that firm is infinitely better than squishy. Of equal importance is that there are adjustable straps so even us narrow-foot people can wear them. (Oh my God, if only Dansko made more of their clog styles in narrow! I'd be broke, but happy.) Finally, the Sophies are extremely cute and they look great on. A clerk at a shoe store in the mall told me Dansko is discontinuing the Sophie after this summer. Say it ain't so!
