Dansko Sophie sandals are beautiful, comfortable, easy to wear all day, and I feel really happy wearing them. Best purchase of sandals ever. I have another pair of Dansko I wore to work walking and standing 8 plus hours no problem, the style must say professional or approved by the orthopedic doctors. Not all Dansko's are all day comfortable as these are. And, as always Zappos is wonderful to do business with.

I agree with other reviewers who suggest ordering a size up. All my other Danskos are 39s, but I ordered a 40 and the length is perfect. I love the adjustable straps, perfect for my chubby feet (though they fit right out of the box, its good insurance). I also periodically suffer from plantar fasciitis and these shoes seem to have just enough arch support (in a sandal!) to help me avoid problems. My only issue is that the black shimmer has a bronze-ish cast to it, so they don't come across as pure black. The photo accurately shows it online, but interestingly I watched the video and those shoes looked much more true black. I'm sure it must have to do with lighting. Anyway, love these!

I have been struggling with plantar faciitis for a few months now, and I tried Dansko to see if they really had the arch support that I have heard. I LOVE these shoes. They are cute, comfortable, not clunky, stable, and I have not felt one iota of pain since I started wearing these. I am about to buy more Dansko sandals because my experience with this shoe has been so great.

These are the most comfortable sandals I have ever put on my feet! The foot bed is incredibly soft and supportive. The top straps were way to tight out of the box but easily adjusted to fit my feet perfectly. I was worried about the size I ordered (a 40) but I've had many other pairs of Danskos and trusted that the 40 would fit my size 9 feet...and they do. A 39 would have been way too small.

This is my third pair of Sphies and I love them all. I have a herniated disc and when it flakes up these are the only shoes I can wear other than my sneakers. I am returning these "blue" ones only because they are a very distinct blue and red. I don't care for the red and the picture is not a good representation of how two tone they are.

I really love Dansko sandals and especially the Sophie. I like the black and pewter croc pattern, too. I have hard to fit feet and I put these on and wore them all day in total comfort. I like the buckles and the fact that they are adjustable.

Absolutely love these shoes. Very, very comfortable. I like that you can adjust because I have bunions. Great shoe.

I have been wearing the Dansko Sophie sandals for three years now. I have black patent, light tan and tangerine. I just bought the black/gray. They are a nice change for dress up and they are so comfortable and cool looking! They fit every foot type with not only one but two adjustable buckles.

Cute sandal, comfortable but too small. I ordered a whole size larger after reading reviews but should have ordered 2 sizes larger. Love Zappos easy returns and great customer service!

I normally wear a 9W or 9.5W and this shoe is a bit small for me and a bit too tight. The shimmery color is gorgeous, though, and the foot bed feels great - just not the right fit.

These shoes were comfortable the first day. The arch support is excellent for me. I would recommend these to my friends and family. Love the looks too!

Great to walk in, stylish, comfortable,and a bit funky! No need to break them in...even with arthritic feet and knee problems. Love them.

LOVE LOVE LOVE these sandals! I have fallen arches so that typically, the top strap becomes too big on most sandals. However, with these sandals, I can tighten the top strap so that they fit! I have a black patent pair from last year that I love, and waited too long to get the white and they sold out fast! I jumped on these asap and have already worn them to work a bunch of time! Highly recommend!

LOVE my Dansko Sophie Sandals! The adjustable straps are perfect for narrow feet and Dansko's are the only comfortable shoes for my flat feet. Super fast shipping!

This is an attractive and stylish shoe with excellent support. I have various foot problems so I need good support and also a soft footbed, which this shoe has. I am sometimes a 37 and sometimes a 38 (size 7 US), the 38 fit better in this shoe.

Love this shoe! It's adjustable enough to be able to make the width custom for your foot. The sole looks like wood, but as a composite sole, it has more give. The carnival color is lovely and will dress up jeans and denim capris nicely.

I love these shoes! I am a regular Dansko wearer and these sandals are cute and amazingly comfortable! So happy to be wearing them!

I have two other pair of Dansko Sophie. I love them. I ordered the blue lizard because I have been wanting a navy blue sandal for a while. The photo shows a dark navy blue with a lavender grid, giving the overall look of a navy or dark blue shoe. However when I received the shoe, the color was actually a dark red with the purple (or lavender) grid. This color was total different than I was expecting. So I must return...

My friend recommended these to me. Smart looking, this color will go with everything (black/pewter). Very comfortable. Recommend.

I hate to buy shoes on-line because I have a lot of problems with my feet, and I normally have to try on numerous pairs to even find one pair that fits. But after reading all the wonderful reviews, I ordered two pair, one in black and one in white (and am I so happy that I did). I just got them and they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever put on. I am going to order a few more in other colors. Thank you to everyone who submitted reviews for these shoes.

I read the reviews before ordering. I wear a narrow professional 39 to work. I ordered a 39 and felt it fit like a 39 narrow. I am very happy with them. The style is great and I like them a lot. Fit right out of the box and no blisters. I was able to pull down the straps so my feet do not slide down which is problem with sandals. I do not normally write reviews, but felt I needed to with these sandals.

The black/pewter Croc has more style than most Dansko leather. Have had this style in prior years so I know it is comfortable and provides great support but this color is much better looking.

Love these. I had to add an extra hole on the bottom strap but after the adjustment they fit great looking forward to more colors.

These are so much better than what I expected. It feels like walking on a cloud! I have rheumatoid arthritis and had been looking for comfortable sandals. These are them!
