These looked so cute. Got them in the black for a jazzy look (really liked the cutouts... opened the look and added some zing). Fit was great as long as I was sitting. But when I tried to walk, it felt like I was wearing cowboy boots and that 'last' style is totally wrong for me. So had to send them back. Darn. Hoping Dansko will offer a backless clog in a 'burn-out/cut-out' style.

I was so excited to get these shoes. Within 12 hours my heel slipped off the footbed while the front of the sandal stayed stationary and I broke my 5th metatarsal bone. I heard it break. I am now in a hard cast for 6-8 weeks and may have to have surgery to put a screw in my foot. I caution everyone to be so careful. I was stopping walking in my kitchen! I honestly don't know how this happened except one of the reasons I ordered these shoes was because of the supportive (I thought) footbed. These shoes are nice and comfortable and I have always loved Dansko, but do not order if you value your feet.

I was so excited to see Danskos in bright spring and summer colors. I love the shoes for occasion wear, but a few concerns keep me from buying one in every color. First, the outer is made of plastic. No kidding. Hard plastic. What were they thinking of? It's not like you could wear these shoes in the rain or at a waterpark. And so the interior is sharp, it doesn't "give" like leather does. For the first time in my life, I'm developing a bunion -- and it happened after I wore these shoes for several days straight. So I suggest avoiding these shoes unless you need something to wear only occasionally. Separately, what is going on with Dansko? Does anyone at that company read all the reviews on this site from people who want to love the shoes but are frustrated by quality issues?

I've had my shoes for about a month. I can't believe they are Danskos. I used to hike in my Danskos and my feet never hurt. The soles of my feet tingle and hurt after I have been wearing them for a while. I also can not believe all these "comfortable" reviews. Next time I buy shoes they will be real Danskos.

Initially loved the shoe; was supportive and comfortable even after a 13 hour shift. Unfortunately the shoes were about 6 months old when one day I felt a pop while walking and saw that one of the uppers had simply split from down the middle from the arch to the toe. This was very disappointing and of course the receipt was long gone. Beware.

Absolute garbage, I'm totally disappointed. I usually love danskos, but I've had these only two months, and the tops of both shoes has completely torn open. I just spent the last hour trying to superglue them, but it won't work. Such a let down. Save your money.

I have had two pairs of Danskos and love that they are good for your feet and comfortable. But, they disintegrated in my closet. The soles cracked in half and the inside material was all over my tile floor like black dirt. The bottom was barely worn. I noticed that due to all the black debris over the floor and then almost fell on my butt. I took out the other pair and the same was happening. I contacted the manufacturer and all they said was that they would send me two gift certificates to buy some new ones. This could have been a disaster if I had fallen or broken an ankle. It is not very responsible for the manufacturer to just overlook this major material defect in the shoes.
