These shoes are awesome! As a result of minor back pain, I was advised to invest in good quality shoes that had some support! Immediately I became upset being the shoe hound that I am! All that I could think of was corrective shoes similar to the old nursing shoes; you know the type! I decided to try Earthies brand based on a review that said they have a higher arch and that it would feel odd at first when trying them on, but after about 20-30 minutes with some walking around, I found them to be quite comfortable, as well as cute! I did not think I had a high arch, but realized whether I did or didn't that the higher arch of the shoe supported my natural arch; similar to the way a lumbar pillow supports your lower back!They are pricey, but worth it! I have this style in red and taupe and get many compliments when I wear them! I am 5'2" and always stayed away from any shoe that fastened around the ankle or covered the majority of my foot, thinking that it made me appear even shorter by drawing attention to my legs! That however is not the case with this shoe, it simply draws attention to your foot and comes across quite sexy! I have since purchased 6 pairs of these shoes; I have justified the price and amount by donating my old shoes (some barely worn and many past Zappos purchases) to a local thrift store! These shoes may look chunky and heavy, but are very light and supportive! I highly recommend! Thanks to Zappos' return policy I have been able to try other styles as well!

I normally do not wear shoes with a heel but I ordered them anyway because they were so cute! I wore them all night on the dance floor and they were so comfortable. Also got a lot of compliments!

True to size, and the most comfortable shoe in my closet! I work in the music industry and am on my feet playing for 3-4 hours. Because of the invese heel and the soft suede, I went home with no sore feer! Truly a feat! well worth every nickle.

These shoes are gorgeous and comfortable and supportive for plantar fasciitis! I wish I could keep them. I really want them! They are made exceptionally well with great arch support and cushioning. The length was perfect, but the band around the front of the foot was so loose that my foot was moving all around so there was no way I could wear them. If Earthies would just tighten the fabric up in the front of the shoe, I would buy these in a minute. They are perfect in comfort and arch support for plantar fasciitis. I just wish the foot band on the front was tighter. I really want these shoes, darn it! I sent them back but maybe I should have put a cushion made for the ball of your foot in there. Maybe that would have tightened them up. But it would have to be a thick cushion. And Zappos makes shoe shopping that is usually a pain for me a pleasure. I hate going all over town in and out of the hot car, wasting time and gas, trying on shoes because the stores do not carry my size. I love that Zappos does and they make it so easy to order and return. When I order from any other shoe company, it becomes glaringly apparent that they are not anywhere near as good as Zappos. Their return process is so cumbersome and such a drag. Filling out little stupid forms and having to write my credit card information on a paper and mail it to do an exchange. Having to pay shipping. A total drag! I will never buy from anywhere but Zappos. They are absolutely excellent and have processes and customer service and kindness down to a science. Thank you!

These shoes are the best. I am actively trying to convince myself not to buy them in every color. They are cute and comfortable. The tan is the perfect neutral. The heel height is perfect. I do a ton of walking between the train station and subways in New York City and these feel great. I have narrow, thin feet and the vamp is a bit loose, but not bad at all. I usually wear a 8½ or 9, but more frequently an 8½. I ordered these in an 8½ and they fit exactly. The fit is very true to size.

These shoes are even more beautiful on! The leather is so soft and accommodates my wide foot. They feel good on, although the arch feels a little strange, but so did my Mephistos when I first got them. I can't tell you how beautiful they are. I haven't worn them out yet, so I'll repost then.

These are very sexy. I also love the lower heel height. I have not worn yet but just from trying it on it felt comfortable. You do have to get used to the arch padding. That was new to me.

I have these in the taupe and love them so much I ordered the red. OMG are they beautiful. The red is vibrant true red. Best red ever. These fit perfect.I have had problems with this brand being too wide for me but not this style. This is perfect for the med width foot. Length is true to size. Gotta have the red, its the best red in shoes ever. Not orangey or too blueish. Perfect red.

Not only are these shoes super sexy they are equally as comfortable and durable. If Birkenstock teamed up with an Italian shoe designer, this shoe would be the end result. With this shoe, you've got all the comfort of your weekend sandals, but you can wear these to work or out on a date. There is a practical side to these shoes that can't be overlooked. They are made of durable material and are well constructed with a rubber sole. This is a great shoe if you have wide feet. I have bunions and found them to be very comfortable.

I have had such a hard time finding shoes because I have very high arches. Earthies wre made for my feet! It's as if they took a mold of my foot and made these shoes. Great arch support. I had to get used to a heel again but these have a little platform so it's not as high ad it looks. I love this brand!

Great shoe. Not quite as comfortable as the Verio Too but still fantastic. I have small problematic feet and these shoes look great and feel good too with great support.

These are so cute and the arch support is amazing! (I have a super high arch) The only problem is that I'm afraid with the suede the bed will become dirty and trashed pretty quickly and that will detract from their cuteness. The taupe is a bit dry in color while the red seems too bright. Wish there were other color options. If they were less expensive I would keep them beyond a doubt but for the moment, I'm on the fence.

I have high arches but these are a bit too high/firm of a support. All of my weight fell onto my arch.

Very cute and comfy shoe with excellent arch support. One minor complaint is that for this price, I would expect a shoe to have a leather foot bed. This is lined in a suede-like fabric.

These look really cute, esp in the nude color. I sized down 1/2 and fit well. But like other reviews say, the huge spike action in the arch is weird. I returned them.

I was so excited when these arrived in the mail. They are a bit unstable because of the thin ankle strap and exposed sides. Also, if you have a wide/flat instep, they are very painful to wear because they cut into your instep. The inner side of the molded footbed comes up way too high. I had marks on my instep after trying on. Thank goodness for the generous return policy.

I saw these shoes on someone and fell in love with them. I really can't wear a heel this high but it looked like it had great support and thought I might be able to wear them. Amazingly I can and they are sooo comfortable. They are my first pair of Earthies but will not be my last!

These shoes are awesome! After working as a meter reader for 17 years, walking 8 hrs every day, I had developed foot problems. I thought I would never get to wear cute shoes again. These are so comfortable that I am surprised when I look down and see these sexy red shoes on my feet! They feel so stable that I don't worry about my ankle. The arch support & heel cup are actually better than my tennis shoes with orthotics added. Now I must save up for the other colors. Because of other reviews I ordered 1/2 size smaller than I wear in most other brands & they were perfect.

The most comfortable and versatile dress shoes I have ever purchased! I can walk in them for hours, and they look great with everything from jeans to skirts. The only complaint I have is that if my feet get sweaty in them they can chafe my toes, and once I got a blister because of this- so don't wear them in weather that is hot or humid (best for fall or spring) However, for as many times I wore them with no problem, this did not affect my overall score for comfort.

Beautiful shoe - I wore them to a charity fundraising meeting of all women and they all loved the shoe. In fact, they even took pictures of the shoes! Great fit! As a rule I can't wear heels due to foot injuries, but Earthies seem to work for me. Wish I needed them in the other colors!

Great looking shoes and comfortable. I have lots of foot problems (fallen arches, a partially dislocated bone, an extra bone, arthritis and more) and I usually have to wear hinged braces on both feet, custom orthotics and athletic shoes for my feet to feel okay. I needed something to wear to a wedding and these were perfect. They felt very stable to walk in, high enough heel to look nice but not so high you feel like you're walking on your tip toes, and they fit so nicely. The ball of my feet hurt a little by the end of a long night, but I expected that after not wearing heels for several years.

I got these last year in blue. These are slightly different, but equally as comfortable. True to size. And Earthies are really for people with a slightly high arch - otherwise, they aren't as comfortable. I love these as I love my other Earthies! They're the best.

These are great shoes. I've had 2 foot surgeries and can actually where these. They were 1/2 size too big for me, so will be returning for a small size.

I can see what people mean about the instep. It is very pronounced. But it matches my foot, so it works for me. I live in a city and cannot have shoes for fashion only. They have to be walkable. Day 1 was a little rough--definitely some rubbing. But from day 2 and on they've been great. Comfy and I get tons of compliments. Great with dresses or pants, they work with everything.

These are adorable and incredibly comfortable shoes. I love them! I have high arches, and I found the footbed really comfortable. I followed the advice in the other reviews, and I ordered a 7.5 instead of my usual 8.
