I love these shoes. I have a neuroma in one foot, and finding wide shoes that provide good support but look nice is difficult. These shoes are nicely cushioned but supportive. I can easily wear these all day. I also like that all the straps are Velcro so you can adjust them. My only complaint is the Velcro on the strap around the heel needs to cover more of the strap so I can make it tighter. I will probably take it to a shoe repair store to add more Velcro. This is my second pair of Aravons, and I will be buying more.

I am so happy I purchased these sandals! I needed a dressier sandal that was also comfortable and provided support and these do that. The sole and heel of the sandal absorb the shock of walking and standing and can be worn with a dress or dress slacks. Most dress sandals are stiff and hard and get very uncomfortable after wearing for any length of time but I have worn these for hours and my feet felt great! They are also adjustable in the key areas of the foot for a custom fit. Thanks, Aravon and Zappos for providing options for us women who can no longer wear high-heeled, thin-soled sandals!

I am going Velcro all the way, and these will be my go-to summer shoes! I am a 6½WW, and even at that width, I have problems as my toes are wide and high. I first ordered a 7 but it was way too big, I wound up with a 6 which fits very well. Being able to adjust the closures in three spots is like a custom fit, and when you have walked a lot and your feet need a little more room you can change them. The insole is very comfortable. The heel just the height I like and solid. I gave them a four on style, they are by far the best looking comfort shoes that I have seen. The contrasting strip of the insole in a bronzy gold color breaks them up nicely and helps avoid that ortho look. I am not wild about the design of the two metal clasps, something simpler would suit me better. Last week, I walked across the Brooklyn bridge and then another hal mile home in these and my feet did not hurt at all!

These are very comfortable and classy looking sandals. With narrow feet, they are still secure at medium size because of the design and ability to comfortably adjust.

Wanted these to work, but the underneath forefoot strap rubbed against the top of my barefoot. Otherwise these were really comfortable.

I usually take a 6.5WW, got the 7 as they only come in full sizes and it's too large. The 6 is out of stock, so I don't know if it will be too small. They are a little clunky looking but the velcro seems the way to go for my extra wide feet. The back strap on the 7 is too long and sticks straight out, perhaps this will not be an issue with a proper fit.

I love the look so I tried them on at a local store feeling excited I might finally find something for my painful feet. I tried an 11B and they were just a tad too small, I probably need an 11½ but next size is a 12W which they did not carry. There is lots of great cushioning, but the problem is there is no steel shank stabilizing the arch and heel. I am not a huge overweight person but I am tall with big feet. I could feel the arch sag and the heel splay out behind as I took my first few steps. For someone that needs more than adequate arch support these also did not provide enough to keep my feet from sliding forward. They just did not feel balanced. Cute as they are, and with as much cushion as I need, they are not going to work. I am very disappointed in these shoes for them being designed by New Balance (they usually have steel shanks) and a at this price? Not good.

These are the greatest. I ordered them when I couldn't find my old standby, the Aravon Phoebe, in my size, and they are both better looking and more comfortable than I could have ever imagined. When they were brand new I unexpectedly ended up wearing them for four days straight walking the hills and steps of Ashland's downtown/Shakespeare Festival and they were more comfortable -- and far dressier -- than my well-worn Phoebes.

I love these shoes. I have great difficulty finding shoes that fit as I as wear a 12ww. These are great and I can adjust them with the velcro. They are dressier than others I have had and I can also still walk in them and dance as well. I went back to order them in brown as well.

Love this sandal. It is so comfortable and very stylish. I always get compliments when I wear it. The shoe runs just a tiny bit wide which was perfect for me. The adjustable straps make it perfect for any fit though.

The three Velcro straps, two across the foot and one around the heel, made these shoes fit like a dream. I wear a size 10 "not quite narrow" and have a higher arch, and these fit the bill perfectly. The foot was supported on each side, and the look was classic. I would rather have purchased something a little more fashion forward, but would not give up this kind of comfort for anything!

These are some great sandals! Perfect height heel too. I am not used to wearing heels anymore, so I was thrilled to find these.

Love these shoes. No breaking in period. They're comfortable and not bad in the style department. They may become my everyday shoe to wear. The only downside is they are a little pricey.

Extremely comfortable shoe...nothing hurts wearing this one. But one big problem is after tightening the back strap to fit at least an inch of the strap hangs out and looks very unattractive!! The strip of velcro is not long enough. Wish Aravon could improve on this.

This is a very well-made, substantial, dressy, sandal. I had a problem, however, with the Velcro strap at the back of the heel. I wear a 7N, and after I had tightened the strap for a nice fit, there was at least an inch of extra strap sticking out unattached. Also, the taupe color comes with a gold lining under the toes, which mIght limit the use of the shoes. I returned the pair I bought.

I am an Aravon fan. Their shoes are fun, stylish and extremely comfortable. However, I returned them because I was looking for a dressy pair. The shoes were comfortable, but my feet looked a bit chubby in them. I wear a size 11, and Aravons usually help to make my feet look very nice. I will keep looking for the right pair. I love Zappos' easy return policy. I now buy all my shoes here.

Okay...I thought I would give this shoe a try. I'm all about comfort in a work shoe. That said: This shoe was really hard to drag out of the box. I did...and I quickly put it back in. I don't care how comfortable it was, it was just ugly. Period.

I have a slim or extra narrow foot and ordered the 10 narrow. With three adjustable strips you can guarantee the perfect fit. They are definitely comfortable, but they are not much to look at. I'm keeping them. Two out of three isn't bad.

I bought these shoes in the spring and although I wanted to wear them all summer I just couldn't. They feel great when you first put them on, but after wearing them for a while and walking on the latex heel they start to squish down between the ball of the foot and the heel. You loose all support. Great shoes, but the soft heel ruins it. So, perhaps this shoe will work for women who are under 150lbs, but I'm a size 12w and 5'9'', so I'm junoesque.

These shoes looked nice in the box, but I was disappointed when I removed the insole and put in my orthotics. The footbed wasn't deep enough for the orthotics. Also, whenever I took a step, the velcro strap on the heel kept coming undone. They felt a little too wide for me, too. It's too bad. I really want to wear heels again, but I need shoes with removable insoles.
