I ordered these this spring and loved the pair that I received until my dog chewed one of the straps. They fit perfectly and I liked them so much that I ordered a pair to replace the destroyed one. The second pair is way too wide as the strap are way too loose. I am not able to wear them comfortably as they do not want to stay on my feet. I'm very disappointed that the sizing varied so much when ordering the same exact pair.

Always enjoyed Chaco's brand in the past, but the strapping on this style is very loose fitting. It feels as if they will fly off of my feet. I kept them, but they will be for puttering in the yard.

I am so disappointed. I have been wearing these Chaco flip-flops for over 15 years. I have gone through a few pairs in that time, and not because they wore out, but because I would misplace them. I always knew I could return to Zappos and get another pair and be good to go. Until now. I read other reviews that stated that Merrill has since bought the company, and that the straps on the shoes now are much looser, to accommodate a wider foot. BOO! They should have made two versions, then. I can't even get these to stay on my feet after a step now... they slide right off. There's a good 1/4 inch of space between the top of my foot and the bottom of the strap. Utterly disappointed. If you liked how these fit over the course of the past decade or so, they don't fit like that anymore. Consider yourself warned.

I have 2 old pairs of this exact Chaco Flip and they fit perfectly. They are starting to look old and weary so thought I'd better buy a new pair before they discontinue making them. I read the reviews and was skeptical of buying them as one review said she almost walked out of the sandal due to the straps being way too loose. Well that was my experience as well. Unfortunately, I will return them but now I cannot replace my old Chaco's flip-flops and afraid to order anything Chaco's. if they have revised their sizing design.

I have been wearing a pair of this style of Chaco flips for years, around the house all day every day, all summer, and loved them. The new ones are almost identical except for one thing -- the strap that goes between your toes is much longer than before, making the shoes hard to keep on. They feel like they're sliding around and are going to fall off my feet. Can't wear them. So very disappointed.

I wanted to try these since I wear my Birkenstock sandals everyday. I was very disappointed because they fit so sloppy...the strap was so loose (and my feet are slightly swollen from being pregnant).

I am so sad. I have been a faithful Chaco fanatic for several years. Yes, these are expensive flip-flops, but I have gladly paid for them, ordering at least a pair or two every year. I ordered the EcoTreads, as I have for years, and put them on. The straps were loose from the first. Anyone who wears flip-flops know that they only stretch out with time so you want them snug at first. I could not have even kept these on. I have average to wide feet, too. I fear this may be due to Merrell taking over the company. I used to love Merrells, too, until their quality went out the window. So I now find myself back on the hunt for a good pair of flip-flops. I am so sad that this great brand is going down the tubes.

Disappointed, thin bottom, nothing for arch support, I was hoping they would be more in line with Orthaheel. They are cute but much closer to a $15 flip-flop than this price.

Love these. I have plantar facitis and it disappeared with these. I’ve walked miles on these Chaco flip flops and am buying another pair now.

This is my second pair of these sandals; wore the first pair until the strap finally broke (3-4 summers). I wear these as an outdoor/casual shoe. Very comfortable.

This is the fourth pair of these flip-flops that I have gotten so you can imagine how much I love them.

This is my second pair of Flips (and my 4th pair of Chaco sandals). I love these for the arch support and stability. I have narrow feet and these flips stay on my feet (Vonic's are too wide/loose.). Wore the first pair for years. Please don't change them!!!

Comfortable and durable. All I wear are flip flops so I really wear through them. These last longer than the soft ones. I find them comfy bc I am used to wearing these types of shoes

This is my 3rd pair of these over the past 5 years... absolutely love them. I wear them for hours and miles while walking around Disney World. I typically take an 8.5 so I wear a 9 in these.

I’ve had 4 pair of these for more than 8 years. They are the best sandals ever!

All good. Stiffer sole good for my purposes, which include walking on gravel driveway.

Just opened my shipment from Zappos, & as usual, service is outstanding! Placed my order on Wednesday afternoon & received my new Chacos around midday on Thursday! Haven't worn them as yet (as I mentioned, I JUST opened the shipment) & will update if the need arises, but I did noticed they looked smaller than my old ones; so I put one against the other & they seem to be about 1/2 size smaller even though they're the same size (9); they still fit though. Also, I noticed that the straps are a tad looser than my old ones. I know that manufacturers are constantly making changes (even when changes aren't necessary) but I has been a while since I bought my previous pair - counting back, I realized that they're at least 8 - that's right - 8 years old!! Now tell me where can you get quality like that! Hope this new pair lasts as long. Just so you know, I wanted to rate them, so I rated them on my previous pair.

This is my second pair of Chaco flips and the only reason I'm buying a second pair is because I wanted variety in the strap color! I was shocked when I checked my Zappos order history to see that my first pair is now 11 years old and they're still going strong. I recently had a bout with plantar fasciitis so arch support is my new best friend and so are these flip flops. Buy them!

These are one of the best made flip flops you will ever buy! I originally purchased these in June of 2009 and wanted to wait before posting a review. Well, fast forward 2018 is here and I'm sad to report that while these are still functional after daily wear during the spring/summer they are just now starting to show their ago and will be retired for a replacement pair. Thanks Chaco for making an amazing flip flop! Keep up the good work.

This is my second pair of Chacos. My first pair I wore for 8 summers and eventually the bottoms became way too slick and unsafe. (I know, who keeps sandals for 8 years? Don’t judge me). I’m expecting these sandals to last just as long. I can wear them for activities I couldn’t wear typical thong sandals such as hiking, mowing, and walking long distances. The arch support feels amazing! They are heavy but it doesn’t take very long to get used to. They feel more substantial than heavy which is probably why I can hike trails in them. There is no telegraphing of terrain through the sole. These are my go-to basic sandal.

These are a perfect fit for me. I had a similar pair for 6 years and just had to replace them. I find the very comfortable and versatile for all activities.
