These slip right off your heel :(

Bought these to wear with a new pair of loafers for work. What a disappointing waste of money! The heels slipped off before I even got from my car to the store where I work, and I had to keep adjusting them all day. I'm going back to Bombas which I never have that problem with!

I'm so disappointed with my Smart Socks No Show Socks as they fall down in my sneakers, causing chafing.

I used to love these socks - they were the rare low cut sock that would consistently stay on my heels. The new design just does not work. They consistently slip off my heels. Please start selling the original design again because I would like to purchase some new pairs!

Had to return them as they were too small. Exchanged them for a larger pair, but when I tried them on they slipped off my heel. The design is just too low cut and impractical. Hoping Smartwool listens to the feedback of its customers, and offers the old style again (I have a pair that are about 3 years old that I love).

This sock used to be perfect for wearing with my danskos in the hospital, as well as with casual sneakers, and even some of my dress shoes in the office. The re-design has made it so these no longer stay on, and I have purchased them since the apparent fix in 2019. Please bring back the old version, which was a significantly better and more effective product. Even the "redesign of the redesign" has not helped.

I just sent a review and typed wrong dates of purchase. I ordered these socks in June 2019. They fit GREAT! Next order was in December 2019. Complete disaster and very disappointed that socks no longer fit well.

I have to join the chorus of other reviewers unhappy with the new design. The old smartwool no show socks were amazing, I had so many pairs and raved about them to everyone I know. The new ones will not stay on my heel, are constantly slipping off even after a few steps. Sadly will be back in the market looking for a new brand. Please, listen to the reviews and re-consider bringing back the old design!!!!!!

As I indicated on the "fox" socks. Your quality has slipped as do your socks . They will not stay on !

I bought two new pairs to rotate in with my beloved old pairs and was dismayed to find the new design just slipped off my heel constantly and I removed them to go sockless within 2 hours. I hope the old design with elastic surrounding the opening returns before my older pairs wear out otherwise I will be in the market for a new Brand of sock.

Wearing in boots and sneakers. Slips off heel, don't waste your money. Unfortunately bought a black pair too. Big mistake! With that said, I have about 10 super great tops from Smartwool and love them all.

I've owned dozens of this sock over the years and this new style is very disappointing. The heels slip off immediately after you put shoes on. Please go back to the original design!

I live in San Diego, so I wear No Show socks every day. I've preached whole sermons to my friends and fam about Smartwool socks - as a woman who wears a size 11, they were the only socks that stayed on my heels. I ordered four new pairs when they restocked, only to find that the new version lacks everything that I loved about them. They don't stay on the heel, they fit strangely, they seem lower quality, and did I mention they no longer stay on the heel?!? Smartwool had the only no show socks that were truly wearable for me. I'm so sad about the decision to change them. Wearing my old versions still, holes and all.

These socks don't stay on at the heel. I have several pairs in the old style that stay on beautifully. I love them and wanted more. These are irritating. If I hadn't already washed them I'd return them.

Nothing is good. Material is thin. Slip off within first couple steps. I love the original ones with elastic all the way around. I will co to us to wear my old ones even with holes u til the completely wear out. SO DISAPPOINTED!!!

I have several of the old style that I loved. Ordered several more and was very disappointed with the new style. It does not stay on my foot for more than a few steps. I will be returning the new ones and just wash my old ones more frequently. Please bring the old ones back!!

Bought 6 pairs, only to realize they don't stay on. Want to return for an exchange through guarantee program, but all no show options are the new style. Please bring back the old style. Those were perfect!

These used to be my favorite socks. They were perfect! But Smartwool decided to change the design for some reason. They are not as comfortable and no longer stay up on the heel. I think they may also have less merino content than before. Very disappointing.

These quality of these socks is nowhere near the quality of any other SmartWool product I have ever bought. The fabric feels synthetic and is very thin. I ordered a large because my shoe size is 10. These socks are small on my feet. There is no way someone size 11 or 12 could wear these without having the slip off. The gel grip in the heel is thin like a piece of double sided scotch tape, and did not keep the socks from slipping off my heal, even when I wasn't wearing shoes. The old version of these socks fit well and never slipped off of my heel. I wore my old a lot. They were perfect. I can't believe that these are considered an update.

I've been wearing the old style for years - this new version is horrible and slipped off my foot into my shoe within a few steps. I do love the reinforced toe, but a sock that doesn't stay on is completely useless. Just gonna sew up the toe holes in my old pairs and wear them until they disintegrate - or until Smartwool brings back the old style with the elastic all the way around the opening. They were the only socks I've ever tried that completely stayed on and they were all I wore. Sad to have to ditch my loyalty to this brand.

I have been wearing the old style of these socks to at least five years. They are literally the only socks I wear. I ordered some recently and these are not the same as they used to be. Hate to put Smartwool on blast but PLEASE bring the old style back!! This style is the reason I switched to these socks in the first place because no other brands with similar styles stay up. I used to recommend these to all my friends and family but not anymore :(

I bought several no show socks with confidence having bought and worn without any problems many Smartwool socks before. After just two steps outside my house the socks got off my heels!! So uncomfortable and impossible to wear. I am very disappointed in Smartwool

I would agree with others review. Without the elastic, which was comfortable by the way, the sock slips off in my shoe and then becomes a constant tug of war. Please bring back the old model with elastic.

I've been a fan of the Smartwool hide and seek no show socks for years! After several years of wear, I needed to replace them as the toe box was wearing and the no slip grip was beginning to deteriorate. I'm very disappointed in the "remake" - they slip no matter what kind of shoe I'm wearing. It's very annoying and I've found myself reverting back to my old pairs even though they're wearing on the pressure points. Please bring back the old model!
