I ordered this in platinum; great color. Material is good, straps not so much. I wish they would use softer leather. Zipper in the middle is hard to zip closed; very awkward if you don't zip it. The middle opens while wearing it as a backpack. Zipper should go straight across instead of an upside down smile. Card holder snap keeps coming open, also. The twist-snap that keeps the bag shut in the front works well, just wish the sides didn't bulge open while wearing as a backpack. Too expensive for what you get.

I love this bag! I am usually an all leather bag kind of woman, but I really loved the look and versatility of this bag so I gave it a try. My favorite things about the bag include the style, tons of space, I can switch to a backpack in a flash when needed, very durable. Things that could be better include that the front pocket does not snap easily, and the leather is very stiff. I have found also that an iPad fits just perfectly in the in either of the outer sections of the bag. Just like it was made for it.

I love this bag! I don't easily hand over this much for a bag, but at age 52, I know what I like...and I love this bag! It's light, it's got lots of pockets, it has three dividers, it has leather accents, it converts into a backpack in two seconds, it is very well made. My one hope is that the makers will figure something out with the 'snap magnet' over the cell phone pocket - you have to hit it just right to get it to close. I will buy more Mosey products. Well done!

This is a well-made but rather pricey bag. I love all of the storage available and the compartments are well-thought out. I really like the idea of buying something from recycled and eco-conscious materials. The one drawaback is as someone else wrote, the straps need to be made of heavier or slightly padded material. The bag might then balance better on the shoulder or as a backpack. Either that and better yet, would be to have longer straps so the bag could actually have been worn crossbody. It is supposed to but does not work if you have to wear multiple layers of garments in colder weather. That was a bit of a disappointment. I thought that I had researched this one better but so be it. I love the grape color but for the fact that the bag is good for holding a lot of stuff, I think I would tend to leave it home when I travel because it does not stay on very well. This is my first Mosey bag and I like the look of their collection. I am just not sure about their engineering skills on this particular style.

I'm not a purse type of lady and I received this bag as a gift last year. I love it. I use it as my commuter bag and it hold everything important I need for my work day. It's perfect!

I love this bag! It has helped me organize all of my stuff so that I can get to it quickly. I love being able to convert it to a backpack when grocery shopping etc. I usually wouldn't spend this much on a bag but it is worth every penny.

I was looking for a purse/backpack...this is PERFECT for my up coming trip to Vietnam....Front pocket is perfect for large cell phone Samsung 4 and or camera. Inside is perfect as well you can fit lots of stuff in the three compartments including water bottle...the nice thing is that you can carry as a purse OR the straps convert to backpack style...no doubt a women designed this beauty...love the material of recycle plastic so waterproof also has zipper pocket on back for passport or important id's...you won't be disappointed or return...two thumbs up!

Let me start by saying, I am not a review giver. However, I recently purchased this backpack after almost two years of exhaustive searching trying to find a good replacement for my old backpack style purse. I absolutely love this one. I like the fact that it looks like an ordinary over the shoulder purse if I choose to carry it that way. Then in a few seconds (a motion that I have down pat), I can flip it around my shoulders into the backpack style. I love the various large compartments on the very roomy inside and the light pink lining makes it easy to find items. I also love the exterior pocket in back with eyeglass loop (which I m just getting use to using). I have done a show and tell to all my friends and family and brag about it often. I m currently looking to buy another just so I have a back-up. Thanks, Mosey!

I bought this for my trip to Italy and it worked great. For example, there are museums and churches that do not allow backpacks but this converts to a purse in seconds. I was able to use it as a purse or a backpack as needed. I highly recommend this item.

This is a great pocketbook. The straps are comfortable, the size is just right. I love the contrasting inside color. It converts easily from backpack to shoulder pocketbook. I am definately going to order another pocketbook from this company.

This bag was perfect for traveling. It expands a little for things you need to shove into it, and the ability to change it to a backpack was invaluable when traveling. The nylon-like material was fantastically durable and resisted dirt. It retains color, does not soak in sweat. Still looked chic when tucked under one elbow. Lightweight, just absolutely perfect.

I have never had a purse/backpack that is more comfortable and perfectly made for a busy traveling woman. I can fit all my essentials in it with ease and either sling my purse over my shoulder or convert it quickly into a backpack when I need two free arms. I bought it in orange for the summer (really cute!) but plan to buy a darker color for the fall when I have a lot of travel going on. I especially love that it is MADE IN AMERICA and uses recycled plastic. I'm tired of giving my money to another country and using the hide of poor animals for leather. Great job Mosey!

I own two Mosey backpacks. One is the convertible and the other is the hatchback. I love both of them. The hatchback is perfectly designed to carry some small personal items, sunglasses, a small water bottle, a cell phone in a case, and an iPad. The Convertible has a lot more space, so I can put in items for the gym, purchases at the store, snacks, or other things. Both have a nice zippered compartment for a wallet in the part that fits against your back, safe from theft. And the credit card holder is safely in a zippered compartment, and snapped to a metal loop. Perfect for those of us who live in the city, walk a lot, and take public transportation. And the Convertible hangs nicely as a purse. The Camper Bag I found to be not well designed for my purposes.

I use this as a diaper bag and love it because I can easily go from shoulder bag to backpack. It has plenty of room and I like the color. I only wish the straps were of a different material. I was thinking leather, but they would stretch over time. So, the nylon type stuff probably makes the most sense. They just are not super comfortable. And it might be nice if there somehow more guides to keep the straps straightened (they tend to twist when going between shoulder/backpack).

This is a great bag, well-made and very structured with lots of compartments for keeping organized. The backpack function is SIMPLE and so useful when you need both arms free. I did not receive the color I actually ordered, and when I called ZAPPOS they were very pleasant. They would have let me return the color I had even though I had taken tags off, but could not help rectify as the color I ordered was out of stock. It's possible I would have been happier with the Olive, but the bag is SO great, the other color is okay - and they did email me to let me know the Olive was back in stock.

This bag almost qualifies as my "soul mate handbag". It is the perfect size. It has ample storage and organization. I love all the options it provides. My ONLY complaint is that the straps are slippery. I have already devised a homemade anti-slip strip for the straps. Other than the slippery straps it is perfection.

This is a gorgeous and very well made bag, and I wish I could keep it, but it just didn't work for me. A few things: the straps are not especially comfortable either way you wear it, and tend not to stay on well in backpack mode. The outer compartments only snap shut making them open to the elements and not so secure. When the bag is full (not even stuffed) it's very round and fat, sticking far out from your back or side. The real deal-breaker was that the straps are only minorly adjustable, and could not be shortened enough so that the backpack sat on my back instead of my butt, which would be very uncomfortable, bouncing with every step. I'm 5'4", and petite, so this won't be a problem for everyone, but sadly it was for me. Gorgeous fabric. Brilliant convertible design. Wish it would have worked. I'll try mosey again.

I really liked this purse when I received it about a month ago. The idea of using recycled products was nice, style was great, the design of the pockets, and it fit what I needed to put in it including a book or Kindel. After less than a month of use, the metal plate behind the main closure just popped off. It was poorly attached to the fabric and didn't connect through the fabric to the other end. Really?! $145+ and the purse couldn't even last a month. Good ideas but poor execution and QC. It's headed back to Zappos.

Loved that you have to ways to use this bag. The size is perfect and color is beautiful. Plenty of space and pockets.

I own this bag and just bought another one in a different color. I love this handbag. I hate a handbag that always slipping off my shoulder and the cross body type just doesn't look right sometimes. But the backpack style is perfect and there is no adjustment when I need a shoulder bag. Lots of pockets and I carry my phone in the pocket on the front which has a snap strap that won't let it fall out. I've received many compliments on this bag. It's light weight to begin with so it's my things that add weight. I can carry my iPad mini in it. It's just perfect for me.

I just got this bag and it was just what I wanted! I bought it for a trip, and I wanted it to be lightweight, roomy, and able to be carried either on my shoulder or as a backpack. This will be great. It has lots of nice pockets to organize, and is very light all by itself. I'll be able to carry it under my arm when in crowds, and on my back if my shoulders get tired. It's pretty cute, too! I already got two compliments on it. My trip isn't until October. I think this bag will get a lot of use in the meantime!

This bag is perfect for my travel needs. I wanted a backpack that was lightweight and did not shout out "I am a tourist". It is comfortable being carried in the front when in crowds. I love how it converts to a handbag for that dinner out. I wanted a smaller backpack so if you need to lug around a lot of stuff look for a bigger bag.

This is a great purse I now own two. For anyone that wants style with the convenience of a backpack this is exactly what you want.

A very lightweight and durable bag. Excellent for travel. It converts very easily from a shoulder bag to a backpack. I especially liked the large pockets and the secure closures on top. I bought one in the mushroom color which goes with just about anything. I have been very pleased with it.
