Great shoe -- and yes, it runs a half-size smaller than normal. Whoever said that first on this thread, thank you! I normally wear 6.5 medium and ordered 7 medium and it was perfect. Otherwise, this order would've shipped back from a really unhappy customer!

I was really surprised that the 7.5 Wide in this shoe was WAY too small. That is the size and width that aways works for me, but not with these! Order either a half size larger with a wider width, OR a full size larger. They run SMALL!

I really like these shows and how they feel on my foot. The heel is perfect and holds my heel snugly and comfortably. But I am concerned that for long walks they may be just a bit short in the toes. I recommend buying them a half size bigger than you normally wear. That's what I will do for my next pair.

Super cute and very cushy but not supportive enough for me.I walk several miles a day and have a bad back. These shoes are not supportive and I tend to over pronate when I wear them. I tried using an orthotic but my heel tends to slip out of the shoe because it's not deep enough to accommodate the orthotic.

This shoe is unbelievably cushy! It really did feel like your foot was wrapped in marshmallows! Sadly, I returned it because the Wide felt like a Medium width.

These were so comfortable... but I had to send them back! This was my first time to try this brand of shoes, which sounded appealing since they only make women's shoes. I first bought these in a 7.5 and they seemed a bit small since my toe rubbed the top of the shoe, which is what many others reviews said that they ran small. So I returned for a half size larger, but the issue I had did not go away. The shoes were amazing comfortable to wear like wearing clouds. But the problem is that there is seam running down the center of the shoe to the toes. So each time I lifted my toe it would rub on the seam on top of the shoe. I knew that after and hour of walking, jogging or a class, that it would just rub until it hurt. I'm very disappointed to have to return them as they otherwise were the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn!

When I first tried on this shoes, wow it WAS like walking on clouds. Super soft and plush. The shoe is a little on the heavier side which is okay, since the bottom is thick it means this "work shoe" will probably put in it's years of wear and tear. The only downside to this is, it's a BIT narrow if you have wide feet. I ordered it in Wide but it was still sort of narrow, esp. for work. If it wasn't for work then I would've been fine w/ it being I have heels/wedges that are way more narrow. The arch is a little high if you don't really have that high of an arch so it takes some getting use to. It kind of annoying/achy at first but you'll get use to it. Originally, I ordered the Ryka Dash and LOVED it being it was MORE breathable, roomy, and light weight but the color was not work appropriate being it was a light silver which was too close to being white. I was super bummed and sad. I wore it for a few hours at work and had to return it, which Zappos was amazing about since I work indoors. Once I wear out my regular walking shoes, I will definitely re-order the Ryka Dash brand for regular usage!

I was out shoe shopping at MOA last weekend, needing walking shoes. I usually buy other brands and had never heard of Ryka, much less that they are highly rated. They cost a bit more than what I usually spend on shoes, but so worth it - cushy and comfy. I just have to get used to looking at myself wearing something other than white walking shoes!

Just bought my second pair of Ryka Devotion shoes and I love the comfort, which comes first before style! My only request is that we have more color choices, lighter colors please! :) I walk every day and since I bought my first pair, it's been like walking on air & my arthritis isn't an issue! Thank you, Ryka!

Fit okay, but the soles are very cushy and are rounded, so I felt like I was rocking from side to side. Did not feel stable and this is very important to me. So back they went. Otherwise - I have very wide feet and the fit was good, except that, while some have said the heel was narrow enough for them, I still had slippage. I couldn't walk long enough to assess the arch support, but think I would have found it less than excellent as I need a very firm support and this shoe has a shaped, but quite soft (removable) insole. I find many more shoes that don't fit than do. Thanks, Zappos. Love the service!

These shoes are comfy. I use them with orthotics because I have plantar fasciitis. I love the teal/orange/grey combo.

I didn't realize when I ordered them that these are meant as a type of toning sneaker, the kind that has an unstable sole to help strengthen your muscles (I think?). In any event, I ended up liking them anyway. I initially wanted them for my p90X workouts, but they aren't ideal for that kind of training. They are a good walking shoe and super cushiony. It's like walking on pillows. Would be good if you had foot/heel pain or something like that too.

I've had these shoes for four hours and I think they're the most comfortable things I've ever put on my feet. I ordered these because I needed a good cross-training shoe for HIIT, Zumba, kickboxing and weight training. My trusted Nike TR Free pair just wasn't cutting it any more. As soon as I put on this pair of Ryka I started doing some of my workout moves. I think so far they are very stable, and comfortable, for everything. As a matter of fact, I had some slight knee pain earlier, but when I put these on, that pain actually went away. It seems as if these shoes helped put me into better alignment. As far as sizing goes, I normally wear an 8 in regular shoes and an 8.5 in workout shoes, and if have a slightly wide foot. I ordered the 8.5 and they are perfect - excellent amount of room in the toe box, no pinching on the sides, heel feels secure. The only thing I would improve upon is the styling. This is not a cool street sneaker shoe. I only intend to wear these for my workouts (but don't judge me if you see me running errands in them because they're so comfortable.)

I have yet to wear these in a class, but there are some shoes that when you put them on and have in mind that you are going to wonder if they are going to be comfortable - presto, you know immediately that these are comfortable shoes. That rarely ever happens to me. I put on shoes with dread. I hate shoes. But these felt comfortable at first feel!

Now these shoes felt much better than the two previous shoes ordered and returned. (A lot of cushion.) But I do notice they do not make shoes like they use too! I notice when I 'm doing a particular stretch, it digs in to one side of my ankle wear as the other side is fine. I tell you, finding a pair of decent shoes is exhausting! I've lost faith in New Balance so I guess it's Ryka until they start messing up on a regular basis!

I recently bought these shoes to replace my old gym shoes. My favorite color is orange so of course I love how they look. Some people mentioned they thought the shoe ran small - I do not think that at all! I ordered the same size I always do & they fit perfect. There is not a huge amount of support in these, but for me, I am only using at the gym, not outside running. Plus I put my customized insoles in these because I have arthritis and they are working great! I mainly use these for a cardio kickboxing class and I find them easy to move and jump in and my feet have felt great in them. I would buy again!

I really like the look of these shoes and usually love Rykas. However, these shoes are not as comfortable as the ones that I have had before. I put in lots of miles walking each week. There does not seem to be as much cushioning in these shoes as I need for walking on hard surfaces. I purchased them from recommendations I had read both on this site and other information. They are comfortable for everyday wear but not for the pounding of a vigorous walk.

The sneakers look great but the tongue on one shoe is to the left too much. You can see my sock. It's defective

The tongue on the left shoe is off center and too narrow for the width of the gap between the lace sides. Otherwise the shoes are fine. I do wish Ryka made an 11.5 because length wise the shoe is a tad long and loose for my feet while the 11 is clearly too tight.

I have been buying this model shoes for quite some time and these were decidedly different. Usually I put them on out of the box and go on my 4 mile walk with no difficulty, but not these. The footboy seems narrower not allowing for my usual sock. Did you change something or where these are manufactured? Go through sneakers every 4 months will have to change my model. So Sad!

Great looking shoe. Not alot of arch and mid foot support. I tried different socks, etc. I got compliments but i know i won't wear if no support. It may be great shoe for another active person.

These shoes are very comfortable, but they don't last long. I'm disappointed in their durability. The soles and treads are very thin. I just bought my third pair of Rykas, so I'm hoping they last longer than the first two pairs.

I have purchased wide width shoes from your company previously that fit well. Ordered the same shoe and it doesn't fit like previous shoes. Narrower than before.
