I am a Zumba instructor and I am on my second pair of Ryka Devotion shoes. I have tried dozens of shoes, and these are by far the best -- enough padding so that your feet and knees don't take a beating, plus they are sturdy without being heavy and I can twist in them without sticking to the floor. I have very high arches, and these provide great support.

OK, I purchase these shoes over, and over and over and over (are we "over this yet?"). Here's the scoop: Great support (plyometrics, side-by-side support is excellent). Great arch support Overall, very comfortable (they are not super-ugly either). I feel that they fit true to size, even with Superfeet arch supports inserted the downfall . They do not last long. I workout most mornings a week...all indoors, no running on pavement/dirt, and I get like 2 months out of them, before they lose their luster. I keep purchasing them because they are an excellent cross-trainer, but they could use a little fine-tuning. Talking to Ryka direct is futile. They have no interest in supporting their product. Zappos is excellent in their customer support. There was actually 2 times where the soles of these shoes literally fell off (after a mos. or so). Literally! The glue apparently didn't stick. I like to feel as though I literally broke my shoes from working out so hard, but that is not the case (ha!) I hope my review helped.

I tried these on to get size perspective for the brand and couldn't take them off. I highly recommend this shoe to anyone with arthritic or orthopedic problems with their lower body. Ryka claims the foam layer of the platform is to give your legs a challenge, but I found it incredibly therapeutic for my bad hips and back. Most wonderful is how it cushions the ball of my foot, which relieves pressure on nerves in my foot. I can actually walk on hard, un-resilient surfaces like concrete floors, without pain. I normally don't do well with shoes with this type of toe box, but it was nice and roomy so that my toes felt free to breathe. I felt comfortable in a 1/2 smaller, but went with my normal size and don't regret. I would like a leather upper, but the mesh is probably part of the reason the shoe is so flexible and comfortable.

I have been working out in Ryka crosstrainers for a long time and thought the Assist XT were the best shoes ever until I tried these ones. They are very comfortable with extra room in toe box just like all Rykas, but these shoes feel like walking on pillows. The first thing I do with my workout shoes is pull the insoles and replace them with more cushioned ones. There is no need to do that with these.

These run SMALL! They are super comfy and cute, though. Just make sure you order the same size as running shoes (a good half size larger than normal). Usually Ryka runs true to size, but not this time.

Fabulous shoe for Tracy Anderson Dance Cardio. Cushy, springy, low enough for jumping jacks, and great arch support.

Have bought two pr of this shoe. a wonderfully comfortable shoe but, the first pair I bought at the end of Oct. are now pulling apart on the sole, at the instep. Will try to see if Ryka will make good on this shoe falling apart in only two months of wear! Disappointed in Ryka...

I typically go up a full size in an athletic shoe because I replace the insert with my orthotic. After reading the reviews, I decided to stick with that practice. I am a 9 in regular shoes, so ordered the 10. I tried the 9.5 but didn't have that thumb's width that is recommended for most athletic shoes. The shoe rocks! I felt like I was jumping on clouds. If I wasn't a pronator, and didn't have knee issues I wouldn't insert my orthotic. However, for those who don't need them, this style has great arch support.

The most comfortable shoes ever. I had read an article naming these as very comfortable, so I found them at Zappos and decided to give them a try. So glad I did. For people with a very high arch as myself, you may still need an insert like superfeet if you walk a lot. But they are like walking on a cloud. The fit - I wear a 7 and I bought a 7 and it was right on. There is also plenty of room in the toe area. I have tried so many different shoes to wear while I walk on my treadmill and I finally have a pair I am happy with. I would like to say also, that Zappos is a great company that I just discovered and will continue to shop online with.

Wow! After nine, yes, nine orders over the last year, I finally found an incredibly comfortable pair of shoes! They are awesome. I know they'll be great for step aerobics or just mowing the lawn. Thanks Zappos for your patience.

I did a ton of research and sneaker trials as I'm an avid walker. I walk about 6 miles a day. First time wearing Ryka and I'm loving them. My feet never feel tired, no blisters which I'm common to and air out well.

Generous toe box is one of my favorite things about Ryka, that and the narrower heel to prevent slipping. It has good cushioning in the heel area. It's a pretty good shoe for the price. I enjoy walking in the them.

I work out 5X/week, have bunions, and a Morton's neuroma on the pad of my left foot. I usually buy inserts to protect my feet. So, shoe comfort is extremely important to me! I will never buy another brand of fitness shoes again! This is my first time buying Ryka and I'll buy again and again. Bonus that they are also super cute.

What a terrific shoe. Like walking on tempur-pedic foam. Good support since I'm a supinator. I can even run! in these shoes and it doesn't shock my knees! I will order another pair today! Wish there were more color combos to choose from.

Had to return, way too short and tight in size 9.5. Have another style of Ryka and love them, true fit and great arch support, these just didn't work for me. However, I would highly recommend the brand.

I walk 6 days a week and have tried other name brands of sneakers but always return to Ryka and always recommend Ryka. I have been wearing Ryka walking sneakers for a long time and this pair is the best! They fit properly, their light in weight and it's like walking on air.

Bought these for my mom. She has bad knees from years of competitive tennis, and arthritis in her feet. She said they are like walking on a cloud. After continued wearing, they haven't broken down like other shoes in the past either. She said they are the best she has ever worn, and she's a tough customer!

These shoes are awesome. I bought them just before a vacation that I knew would involve lots of walking, including a couple of days at Disney World. They feel super cushy, never rubbed me the wrong way, and are very flexible. I had read that these ran a bit small, so I ordered an 8 and an 8.5 (I usually wear a 7.5-8). The 8s felt great so I would say they run true to size.

This is my second pair of Ryka cross trainers after years of being an Asics devotee. The cushioning, comfort, support and stability is outstanding. You had actually feel the rebound in the sole. These are great for the treadmill, elliptical and classes.

These shoes are by far the best fitness shoes I have owned. I have worked out my entire life and have worn multiple different types of shoes. I was looking for a fitness shoe, but I feel that cross-trainers are always so bulky. These are supportive, but have more of a running shoe look. The sole is also incredible...so comfortable! I wish I could wear them all the time!

This is my third pair of these. I have arthritis in one ankle and the comfort and cushioning of these shoes make them a dream to walk in. One thing I do not like is the sole does not seem to last as long as other shoes, but due to the comfort I buy them anyway just wish they lasted longer.

These shoes are so comfortable! I thought that they were those toning sneakers because the cushions on the soles are so bouncy. They are perfect for walking. They are a bit narrow. But I have really wide feet. So quick, lateral movements are not the best for these.
