Wear good socks; this shoe requires some breaking in. I can tell that it will be a comfortable, long-lived shoe once it is broken in. Great looking on the foot.

I have a pair of Ryka Radiant that I love. I thought these would be a nice alternative but I have orthotics and the heel box is too shallow to accommodate the orthotic. Makes me a little unstable; not that these are bad. Just something to consider.

I wanted to like this shoe, but it just doesn't have enough support at the ball of the foot and the big toe. Sad to say, I'll have to return.

The Dash shoes are soft and comfortable but without much support making them better for wearing around town rather than for extended walking. Also the shoes seem to allow my feet to bend inward and cause a different pull on my hip. The are aligned differently, according to Ryka, than other brands.

Bought these as work shoes. I work 12 hour night shifts where I am on my feet. These offered decent support and lasted for several months before I began feeling the aches in my feet, knees, and back again. Considering buying either this pair again or another pair of Rykas as a replacement.

I love these shoes. My normal shoe size in general is a 7 but in Rykas I take an 8. I overpronate so that may be why I take a whole size larger. They are very comfortable and seem so far to have enough arch support for me. I own other Rykas and the brand seems to work for me because I like the roomier toe area.

These are very comfortable shoes! After my second bunion surgery on the same foot, I did not think that I would ever wear regular athletic shoes again. My feet are very wide at the ball. (6½WW) But my heels are narrow, with high arches. Someone told me about Ryka. I doubted that my feet would fit, but with Zappos' easy to return policy I gave them a try. They even work on the unrepaired bunion. Most athletic shoes put a seam right where the bunion is most sensitive. Not these. I am so glad that I tried them! I would wear them all the time if I could! I did order half a size up and they are perfect.

I have owned many pairs of Ryka, and like the way they fit my feet. These seem to be doing well, have only used them for treadmill walking, and they don't pinch or rub my toes. Happy with them so far, every lightweight, and the mesh makes them cooler. I do worry about the mesh on the toes. I have had shoes with this mesh, and have had it tear pretty quickly. Hoping these will not do the same.

These shoes are so lightweight and comfortable. I would like a bit more arch support. They do run small, so I ordered a half size larger.

These shoes are not for serious walkers. I can wear them for 4 or so miles, but after that the support is not great. Feels good but is flimsy. Ryka used to make great walking shoes, but lately the shoes are not solid and are not made for really long walks.

Very comfy shoes. Unfortunate that they do not come in a wide width! Had to send them back because they were not wide enough! Thought if I ordered 1/2 size up it would work - but not this time!

Nice and light shoe, great price. Bought for my daughter for gym class, so used 5 days a week. No problems at all!

I like the shoes but the right shoe had an indentation by the big toe which put pressure on my toe. I am not sure if this was particular to this pair, or a design defect but I had to send them back.

I purchased Dash by Ryka to perform low-impact aerobics. They are very light and comfortable. However, I had to add a more supportive insole, as I have very "flat" feet. I wear a 6.5, and even with socks, they fit me true to size. Hope this helps!

These felt great when I put them on I thought they could have been a little longer. I ordered an 8½ because my other Rykas (Radiant) were an 8½. But I thought these were slightly shorter. However, I wore them around the block to walk the dog and now have blisters on both heels. I did not experience this at all with my other Rykas. I am returning and ordering a different Ryka. Since I really have loved my Radiants. But a girl's got to have something different, right?

I was looking for a comfortable, moderately-priced walking shoe to replace my old New Balance 990s when I decided to try these Ryka shoes. I really wanted them to work out, but my feet never felt comfortable in them. The width was fine (I wear a wide due to some arthritis in my big toe joint) but the soles of the shoes felt thin and under-cushioned. I wore them walking for a few months, but I found myself taking shorter and shorter walks just because my feet got tired. I finally replaced them with another pair of New Balance after about 8 months of use.

I have many pairs of Ryka's, and these (& the Dash 2 I tried) seem to have the least cushioning of any. And they feel "different" from any of my others.

I thought this shoe would be perfect for work, but the navy blue parts of them is very open mesh, which is not ideal when working in a veterinary clinic. Returning them in the hope of finding something better.

Bought these because I was looking for walking shoes and loved a pair of Ryka's I have in a different style. These fit beautifully but lack the cushion I need for longer walks. Comfortable, but they have no support and little cushion. I wear them around the house and for short walks.

These are much lighter than I expected which is good. Although they are not very supportive on the instep, I was able to change out flimsy rubber the insole with a more substantial one, so now they are wearable.

I was looking for a (relatively) inexpensive, lightweight walking shoe and tried these. Although they accommodated my orthotics, the right shoe rubbed against one of my toes, threatening to raise a blister. So these are not the shoes for me.

These were too big, and they didn't have the extra set of lace holes at the end of the shoe that helps to prevent heel slippage. Shoes were returned.

This shoe has a little bit of a negative heel, which surprised me because that was not mentioned anywhere. The shoe is okay, but I would not purchase this style again due to serious lack of lateral stability causing my foot to slide around in the shoe too much.

These are comfortable tennis shoes, but only for about 2-3 hours. After that, I must take them off because my arches begin to hurt as well as the rest of the feet. Light weight, breathable but not comfortable for long periods of time.

I bought these in wide and they are some of the most comfortable athletic shoes I've ever worn. The mesh uppers are very cool and breathable. However, I've only had them for 3 months and the pink cloth lining at the inside of the heel has begun to wear off. There's a big hole in it that's growing larger by the day. I've never had a pair of athletic shoes do this before. For this reason I only gave the shoe 3 stars.
