Although Asics don't seem to last as long or hold up quite as good as they once did they are still the best out there if you need a wide shoe and don't mind ordering a little more often.

Shoes are great - nice support for my low arch as well as feeling secure when moving in a lateral direction.

These shoes are amazing. Love everything about them. Love the wider sizes too, which is very much overlooked I think. I like to trail run and they always feel supportive and secure.

Great for running. I do a lot of walking. Very comfortable. I am very happy with the sneakers, since I have flat feet they are very comfortable for me.

Great shoe period. I was worried that after I was diagnosed with severe pronation I feared I would never own a good looking running shoe again. I was wrong, this shoe is sexy, and does its job. If you have moderate to severe over pronation, I'd highly recommend this shoe.

I run almost every day and have been wearing Asics for years...well built shoes and very comfortable.

I've always had good luck with Asics shoes. They last long and are very comfortable. I speed walk a little over 3 miles per day, six days per week so, while not jogging, I do get good use out of them. For me, they're a good fit.

I've been working out and running in the Asics GT model for years. It feels like someone is holding my foot in their hand when I wear these shoes - a great running shoe.

I own a couple pairs in the 2100 series, and all have been excellent running shoes. The 2170 continues to build on and fulfill the already high expectations. Great shoe!

I was looking for some comfortable shoes before I went to Europe. Knowing I would do more walking than usual. I ordered about 3 weeks ahead of time to make sure they were broken in. Asics have always been good to me, especially since they come in wider sizes than most manufacturers.

Purchased these for my husband to run in. He loved them the minute he stepped foot into them. He says they are great for running and never caused any pain or blisters as other sneakers did. Love Zappos & the collection of reviews for us to make good decisions about shoes!

Bought these for my hubby, who works on his feet all day (and is in wet conditions). He has flat feet and always has trouble finding a supportive shoe. These are by far the best sneakers he's ever had. I'm ordering him a 2nd pair.

Obviously, this shoe looks amazing. The comfort/support is exactly what you would expect from an ASICS running shoe. I have high arches and a wide toe-box and I weigh 215lbs (on a good day) - the GT-2170 is serving as a great all-around running shoe as I prep for the Livestrong Marathon next February!

I got these for my son and he loves them because they are cushy and comfortable.

These shoes fit very well. They are light and seem well made. I had to exchange shoes and Zappos couldn't had made it any easier!

This is a great shoe. I've used this series for several years (2140, 2150, 2160). I run 20+ miles/week. I typically get 250-300 miles out of this shoe. The 2170 does not seem to last as long (the tread wears out quicker than previous models). It seems to fit 1/2 size small, so order 1/2 size larger.

I have been buying the 2100 series of this shoe for years for my husband. His feet are a little on the wide side but a wide width is too wide. This shoe gives his toes plenty of room and had good arch support. He has two pairs, one for running and one for everyday. He runs about 6 miles a day, every day and these shoes last about 6 months. The everyday shoes easily last a year plus maybe a few more months. These shoes are virtually the same every year so I can always order the same size every year and they fit perfectly.

I have big feet...15s. I weigh 230. I love these shoes. They fit. They support. They look great...the best GT-21** yet.

I bought these to replace my GT-2160s, which were the best running shoes that I had ever had. These are just as solid: well-cushioned and stable, an important consideration for me since I am a low-arched overpronator. A small improvement on this latest model is the new laces, which are much easier to tie than the old ones. These are great shoes.

The Asics GT-2170 is my first real running shoe. I just started running about 3 months ago and have been very pleased with the results of this shoe.

Just a great shoe overall, great support and plenty of cushion. Shoe comes in variety of widths. I'm a 4w. Love this shoe - buy them!

I have a wide foot, weigh over 200 lbs. and am very active. Until two years ago I always wore Nike Air. Tried the Asics and loved them. I am into my second pair. They hold up beautifully, no toe through the mesh and they look great. Asics are now my best friend on the road.

This is my fifth pair of Asics and it's the best one yet. They keep getting better. I ran track in high school and college and I've tried a lot of different brands before finding Asics. The "Gel" technology they use to support you feet when walking or running is superior to anything I have tried before. My legs and back do not hurt afterwards now, when either with I'm running or hiking, and after 40 years of running I think I can testify to what sore legs and back feel like from improper support on your feet. Trust me you will not be disappointed with the Asics GT 2170 regardless if you're a runner or just getting them to walk in for support for your back, they are unmatched in performance and comfort!
