I saved to purchase this purse. I love it!

This satchel is absolutely gorgeous, well made, classy and has a timeless look. The creme like ecru color goes beautifully with a variety of colors, can dress up any outfit and adds extra polish to work wear. The bag’s copper hardware is impressive, warm and really unique. The size is perfect and can fit my iPad. I found the opening of the bag just fine and love the look and feel of the green suede. My only suggestion would be to improve the thickness of the crossbody strap, perhaps adding a bit of cushion. Thanks for the great sale Zappos!

Perfect size, amazing quality. Florentine can be pebbled or smooth & I prefer pebbled- I lucked out because this one is perfectly so. I was worried about it arriving scratched- not being able to pick it up in person. But true to zappos quality of care, it arrived in perfect condition.

This is one great bag! The biggest problem you will have is picking a color!

I am in love with this purse. I’ve had it almost a year now and it still looks brand new. Looks very expensive and I get compliments all the time. I wear the strap normally because I have kids so hands free is easier.

This purse is GORGEOUS! The quality is OUTSTANDING and the leather smells so good! This is not a small purse, it is medium size, and it's perfect! You will not be disappointed! I got the natural color and it is gorgeous!!!!

This is my first Dooney & Bourke purse. Love it! There is plenty of room for what I carry with me.

Love this purse! I hesitated because I had purchased the Florentine Vachetta Satchel a year or so ago and had to get rid of it because it was SO heavy! I did not have that problem with this bag! I love the color and, the quality, as always, was classic Dooney. I have used their bags for years and they hold up so beautifully! I'm not easy on my bags either -- I throw them in the car and drop them on my wooden bench at home -- still beautiful. I don't think you can go wrong with this purchase.

The bag gets better with age. I bought a light blue, small version. The leather becomes softer and prettier over time. Love my bag. I usually never spend so much on a bag but it was well worth it. I keep getting compliments all the time. I am looking to pick out a darker one for winter time. I love the strap. I just throw it across my body. I love that hands can be free when moving with it. They have a great color assortment. The material looks classy and attractive.

I love this bag! I was worried that it would be too small, but it holds plenty, has good internal pockets, and is a beautiful color. The ladies at the office wanted to steal it.

I love this bag. Just right for everything I carry including my Kindle. The handles are a little short, but I feel like they will stretch a little after continuous use.

Best bag ever! Can't say enough about it. Fits my iPad, makeup case, phone, wristlet wallet. Got in the brown t'Moro and it is a glorious color. I like the strap doubled as a shoulder bag and it is the most comfortable shoulder bag I have ever carried. Any scratches rub right out. This is a best buy.

I saw this bag at the department store a few times and was immediately drawn to it. Glad I finally decided to purchase. The leather is soft and I love the Chestnut color. I'm used to carrying smaller bags, so it is a bit heavy, but overall it's comfortable and beautiful.

This is a classic bag with a pop of color in the lining. It is a good size for me. I love the handles plus shoulder strap. Beautiful leather and construction. I wish the zippered opening at top was larger. I have to use a flashlight to find my stuff.

I was happy to find a high quality leather purse. No one has mentioned the suede interior! I am not pleased with the handle drop length...the satchel handles are far too short to throw the purse over my shoulder to make a good shopping experience. In addition, the included cross body handle is far too long. I tried what another buyer suggested and looped it through, but this made a funny looking handle that resembles a dog leash. I hate to take in a purse to be 'fixed' when I spend this kind of money. Overall, it's a beautiful purse if you wear a satchel traditionally over your wrist. If you're looking for an everyday purse and don't mind cross body, it is a great buy.

Pretty bag, but the zipper doesn't open all the way so the bag is hard to get in and out of.

This is a beautiful bag “but” I’m still on the fence with it as it is kinda heavy for me .. It is made of a beautiful good leather and it is roomy ... this add to the weight :( ...BTW I bought the small size which it is not quite so ! I’m keeping it wrapped till I decide what to do as I’m ordering other purses from different stores to compare them .. so far it is one of my favorites along with another Doony “Pebble II Drawstring” that I also bought here at Zappos :)

A beautiful bag, but is missing the snap-close on the large slip pocket shown to be on the inside. I’d have considered keeping the bag except for the shortened zipper opening, which looks awkward and limits access.

Bought this bag in the spring in purple but don't carry it much despite how beautiful it is largely because the huge open area gives me no place to secure my note 3 cell phone. It needs more pockets and not to be such a monstrous bucket where you can't find anything. Also it needs at least one exterior pocket. When I do carry it I get lots of compliments but it takes me forever to track down my keys compact or cell phone.

The quality of the leather is really good. This is a bag that you can pass down through generations. However, it's heavy and the opening makes it tough to get into. I need a larger bag with more compartments and at least one outside compartment because digging around inside this bag is hard unless you have both hands free!

This satchel is not the most functional. The problem I had was that the zipper didn't go all the way across the bag, and it was very difficult to reach inside to get to anything at the bottom. I ordered the crimson, which I expected to be a brown-red, but it is REALLY red. Also, I believe it was supposed to include a cross-body strap, but it wasn't included in my package. I wasn't a fan of this bag and returned it.
