I love these shoes for both running and walking. I live in the country and encounter quite a bit of gravel and these shoes make that a non-issue.

This trail shoe is not for flat feet. I have a very flat foot and this shoe is made for those with a very high arch. I even bought an insole which did not help. It is the most unsupportive uncomfortable shoe I've purchased. I run long distance and shoe comfort and support is of utmost importance. This shoe destroyed my IT band because it is the complete wrong shoe for me... before you buy this shoe be sure that you know you are going to like it. My girlfriend on the other hand loves this shoe... all comes down to foot shape and arch.

I found this shoe online but not at any retailer. I loved the way it looked but was wary about ordering it because some websites said it ran half a size smaller. I came to Zappos because they have free shipping both ways just in case it didn't fit. I ordered my normal size and it fit perfectly. The shoe is beautiful and I have had 9 compliments on them in less than a week. The only gripe I have with these shoes is the insoles move around (slipping backwards, toward my heel) and while it is tolerable and happens gradually, that's not really something that should happen with a running shoe. Going to try to glue them down or something.

I loved the unique sporty leaner look and then discovered that they have become the most comfy and supportive running shoe in my fleet. They graduated up in status to become my main workout gym shoes. I have seriously flat feet and they really have supportive arches. I wear 12 Narrow, but the medium fits perfectly. I know they are trail runners, but I love them at the gym. This is my 2nd pair as I bought my first in the grey/aqua combination and I adore them both!

How much do I LOVE these kicks?! I am a serial athletic shoe shopper and these are favorites! They fit perfectly. I struggle with heel slip but NOT with these! They are fun and colorful but best of all, the best trail runners I own. They really hold the ground and the gripper thingies on the back of the heel make downhill runs a snap. Order a half size up.If you have wide feet, these probably won't work.

I love these shoes. They have the right amount of cushioning, are stable and comfortable enough to wear for a full day. I am looking forward to trying them out on the trail once things dry out a bit.

I love these shoes. I bought one pair and liked them so much I bought a second. pair. I did need to go up a half size compared to my other Adidas. I like the new style without the stripes and love the colors. Very comfy for walking which I very much enjoy.

Super narrow; my feet are fairly "normal," but I felt like Cinderella's step-sister trying to squeeze my feet into these shoes. Which is a shame because I love the support that seems to be there...sigh.

I love these shoes! Great for running after my 2 year old at the park. Super comfy and supportive. My husband got some for Christmas and raved about them so I had to get me a pair. Too bad they dont have them in toddler size or we would all have a pair.

I just did a side-by-side comparison of the Adidas Running Vigor TR 2 W and the Adidas Running CLIMACOOL Ride TR W and here are my thoughts. First, my feet: I am a neutral-gait (to under-pronator) with a very high arch, narrow, low volume foot, with a high instep and top-of-foot and heel bone-spurs. When fit, I err to fore-foot striking. I used to run 60 100 miles per week road and trail and raced 5k and 10k and track. Now, I am but a fitness chuffer, but still very particular about fit and ride. My previous fav trail shoe was the Adidas Trail Response. I prefer a cushioned ride and will take extra cush over lightweight and minimalism. I was looking for a semi-hybrid road/trail as the trails where i live have loads of slickrock -- which favors a road shoe feel. The trial: I took the shoes on a 45-minute treadmill test consisting of numerous tests. First-off was 5 minutes with each shoe at a warm-up pace at 1% grade -- mixed walking and jogging and running, starting with the CLIMACOOL. Then, I switched into a fartlek mode, again with 5-minute sessions with each pair at 1%. I then did a one-of-each jogging sesh to compare the feel of the ride. After the mid-sesh "trot", I switched to the Vigor first, then the CLIMACOOL for a 3.5% grade fartlek at a slightly slower tempo. Following this 5-min of each, I switched to a 0% grade tempo pyramid at ~4mph faster starting pace, for ~ 2minutes with each pair. In the past, I was always a w's 11 in Adidas and could order blindly. But based on others' reviews and having tried on current Adidas shoes, I was concerned for size. Adidas calls its women's 11 a EU 44: this is generally a twelve and an 11 is 43 or 43.5. I had tried on the climacool at The Boulder Running Company but didn't pull the trigger as I felt ankle rub on my bigger foot (L) and wasn't able to try an 11. I ordered the CLIMACOOL in 10.5 and 11 and the Vigor in 11, as per the reviews I read. Turns out, they all measure ~11" inside -- the 11 Vigor and the 10.5 CLIMACOOL were about the same and the CLIMACOOL 11 was slightly bigger. It felt sloppy and went straight back. In order of size sm to lg: Climacool 10.5, Vigor 11, Climacool 11. Results: Were I the runner I was of yore, running high miles and alternating shoes, I would buy both, without hesitation. These shoes could not be more different. The CC is light and cushy yet has a minimalist feel. It feels speedy and is light and airy. I was in love with the ride and the ankle-bone rub went away immediately. However, I could start to "feel the ground" on the treadmill and I thought that this, along with the minimal upper, would not suit my needs well, if choosing one pair. Better heel-to-toe roll than the Vigor as it is very flexible. The Vigor feels more stable (borderline "slappy" to me) and slightly corrective for my outside-edge heel strikes. (Pronators: stay away! you would hate!) I really want both, but reality is this: I run 3-4 days a week on trails with loads of rocks and I think the vigor will hold up better for what I do now. The vigor also has better torsional stability. I will likely add a gel innersole to have a little extra cush on my sensitive ball of foot--site of a previous stress-fracture. Should I get serious again about running, I will immediately buy a pair of climacools and alternate the two. Upshots: CLIMACOOL: size down 1/2 size, unless you have a wide foot. Not recommended for flat-foot pronator. Very light and not burly. A great hybrid road/trail shoe (which is how it was originally presented to me). Great for those who want cush, breathe-ability, easy on-and-off (with fixed tongue) and will not be running in thrashy terrain (the upper will not tolerate much brush). Vigor: true to size, may run narrow? Toe box is generous. Good lateral/torsional stability and a bit more burly, though the semi-breathable upper won't stand up to mega-trashy bushwacks.

I'm an Adidas girl. I find that no matter what style, the size fits consistently. This pair is no exception, but in addition to great fit, the comfort seems to be better than previous favorites. The tread is great on the sole for grip/traction, but it also lends to more comfort by adding cushion on hard surfaces. A really great pair of shoes!

Since being involved in a severe car accident and shattering both of my ankles and legs, I have found it hard to find anything that provides complete comfort for my rebuilt joints. I do not have much cartilage left in my ankles and the arches unfortunately have fallen some due to the damage. I generally gravitate towards ADIDAS sneakers due to the comfort of the shoe around the ankle itself. It never rubs, wears or causes pain. When I saw these shoes, I immediately bought them and since receiving them I have not taken them off of my feet! They feel fantastic let alone look fantastic. Besides the compliments that I have gotten on them, no matter what terrain they provide enough support, comfort and flexibility to allow the bone movement. The only thing I noticed since it does have an outdoor terrain sole is that sometimes while indoors on a freshly cleaned floor it will feel like you do not have grip as you are walking. I haven't fallen or anything like that. The heel cup helps support the heel so that the alignment to the hips and lower back are not taking such a shock when walking or exercising. Love, love, love these shoes!

These sure are attractive shoes! When looking at them they appear to make my feet look smaller and daintier too! The traction or the sole was the main selling point, I'm sure its meant for the athletic folks, but it will make for a great fall and winter shoe and provide good safe footing. I like that it came in a ladies 11.5 and I ordered the regular width...but it is feeling rather tight. In fact my feet are asleep! If you have wide feet, perhaps steer clear. Otherwise...this is a great, sturdy, good looking shoe!

Very comfortable. I had the Adidas Kanandia2 before this and loved those. I think these replaced that style. I do notice that the top of my foot feels a little tight after wearing them all day, but I just loosen the laces and I'm good to go.

I go to bootcamp several days a week, and had a terrible time finding a shoe that was comfortable, great looking, and most importantly could stand up to the rigors of the workout. I was going through shoes left and right. I couldn't believe the difference these shoes made in my workout. I swear they made it seem a little easier! They have such great support, and just such a great feel to them. I recommend them to everyone! I have them in three colors now, so I can rotate them through the week. I don't know why this is such a hard shoe to find in stores. So glad I read the reviews, took a chance, and ordered them!

Of the three shoes I ordered these were by far the best in fit and comfort. I don't like the lip on the back heel of the shoes - it's hard to see it's there when looking at the pictures.

I was nervous about buying these online since I couldn't find a store to try them on in. I ordered my normal size 8. At first I was wary because it felt tight, but it's the design of the shoe. It's ultra supportive, cushioned on sides, snug fit with tongue lace up, great traction on both the road I run on and treadmill, also I have a higher arch and it's a great fit for me (I also run in thinner tighter socks). I could have ordered a 1/2 size up but after a run or two they feel just fine. YES this style is amazing but its the traction that I love too!

I fell in love with these shoes because of the style and colors, but I had quite a bit of difficulty with sizing. They are very narrow, and going up a half size fits fine width-wise now, but they are slightly too long. I wish there was a wide option, as they do run narrow. The grip on these things is amazing, I don't see how anyone could ever slip in them.

I thought these shoes were sweet looking! Love how they're not typical Adidas with the three stripes. However, I work in the Emergency Department, so I'm on my feet 12 hours a day, and I definitely need good, supportive and comfortable shoes. Never before have I had a problem with Adidas, but these...I wore them for a few weeks hoping they'd break in. The right shoe did. The left one...no way. So narrow across the base of my toes at the widest part of my foot. (I have seemingly wider feet, but I've always worn regular, medium width shoes.) Foot pain escalated to ankle, knee, both hips and lower back pain. Adidas, I'm disappointed!

This shoe runs small & narrow. I have an Adidas Trail running shoe in an 8 1/2 and love it...this one seems to feel at least a half size too small and is narrow & heavy. Won't be running in this one.

Really wanted to like these shoes, but my left foot tells a different story. I bought these shoes half a size big to avoid hammer toes etc. The first time I wore them, I had pins and needles sensation in my left foot after running about 5 kms. I thought that would go away with subsequent wear. A month later, the problem was worsening and my left foot toes were chafing. I have had no problem at all with my right foot. Sadly I have had to stop wearing them.

At first, I loved these shoes. Then I went running in them. The soles migrated toward the heel very early in the workout, and despite my attempts to move them back, they continued to slide. This is distracting and uncomfortable. I wish I had never bought these.
