These shorts are perfect for a summertime hike. They are very lightweight and have a flexible fit with their elastic waist. It also comes with a great lightweight belt that is detachable. I highly recommend these.

I was looking for a lightweight cargo short that was comfortable and gave me freedom of movement. These shorts check all of those boxes and are at home in the field as well as at any casual event. I'm about to buy a second pair.

These shorts are so comfortable and light weight that it is almost like wearing nothing at all. I highly recommend them.

I used to get these in womans but when they were no longer available, so I started buying mens. I love the longer length. They protect me from the sun but are still cool. The zipper pocket to secure items is a must.

I love these shorts! They are feather weight and sooooo very comfortable. Be aware, however, that the waistband is elastic, so you may want to order one size SMALLER than what you normally wear.

Best shorts I have ever owned. Lightweight, dry fast, packable and durable. I own 4 pairs. Lots of pockets. Best shorts ever made for hiking, backpacking or everyday casual living.

I ordered a size up for my husband and they fit great. He likes how lightweight the fabric is and how all the pockets lay flat on the shorts. They are the perfect length and can be worn on the golf course or any casual summer occasion. Great choice of colors too!

This is my 4th pair. Others were bought in previous years and these run a little smaller than the others.

I really like the Silver Ridge pants/shorts, they are light weight and durable as anything I have in my closet. You can safely beat them up, get them dirty and throw them in to the washer without any fuss. These are great shorts and I have had my silver Ridge pants for 4 years and counting, highly recommend.

These fit great and are great for traveling across the. world.

Per many of the other reviewer’s advice, I ordered one size up on these for my husband and they fit him perfectly. They are a good fit, and good quality. His thighs are really muscular and large, and these shorts are not constricting, i.e. they are generously cut. They look nice enough for a summer evening out, but I think they will also hold up well for hikes and such.

Just received them today, tried them on and immediately ordered another pair but different color. They are very light and just right for warm weather and wet weather. And they are well made. A great product

These shorts are the lightest, most breathable, most comfortable shorts I own, this is the 2nd pair I bought and approx. the 12th item from Columbia I've ordered over the last couple months. I absolutely love their products and now my wardrobe is approx. 80% Columbia, which is perfect for my very warm, humid climate that I live in. Thanks for making such awesome products, keep up the excellent work!

Overall I like the material. Size and fitting was good. I really liked the style as well.

Textbook Columbia quality in these shorts. Everything from the material to the size and craftsmanship is perfect (but I didn't really want the belt). They breathe, they dry quickly, and they don't fade.

These wear like a bathing suit, but look like shorts. I have worn these for both fishing excursions and everyday wear.
