I am a carpenter and a hiker. I wear nothing but these pants. They hold up at work and are wonderful in the heat. Drys quickly in the rain and breathe well . I wear these winter hiking on Vermont Long Trail. With a pair of Capiline thermals underneath I am comfortable because of the wind resistance.

Bought one pair and liked them enough to buy a second while on the road. pants are light and keep me cool and dry. Went wet wading in the river and within 30 min my pants were dry and I was at a party. The pants do seem the run long but for a tall guy that is not a problem.

Nice pants but as other reviewers have stated, the thigh portion of the leg is a little small. I wear a 36 waist size in these but I buy the 38 waist size because the thigh is too narrow on the 36s. They are not off by much, maybe an inch, but it’s enough to where I buy the larger size to compensate. That brings me to the next problem. Because I buy the larger size for the larger thigh area, the waist is then too big creating the need for me to tighten the included belt. Seems fine since a belt is included. However, the included belt is flimsier than a wet noodle and digs into your side if you tighten it very much at all. I am much better off using any other belt I own. Those are my only complaints otherwise the pants are great! The colors are nice, they wick sweat very well, they are not too hot, they are lightweight, the articulated knees are nice and the price honestly fair. BTW, I’m 6’5” and wear the 34 length just fine as these run a little longer than normal. YMMV. Also, if you don’t already know it, Zappos has the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. If you ever have a problem, you will see what I mean. I almost wish for a problem they are so good. They are my #1 option when buying any clothing item. Absolutely unbeatable. Kudos Zappos

Love my Colombia pants. Lots of Wicking, Dry fast and feel the Breeze. Get a PFG Shirt and You have yourself the Perfect Work wear. The Pant are suprisingly rugged with plenty of pockets. Summer in the South tested and passed with 5 Stars. Had to get Me 2 more pair. Thanks Colombia for Your Incredible Clothes. Keep up the EXCELLENT Work. Signed, Colombia customer for Life.

This is the 4th shirt I purchased (in a different color) and I love it. Great fit, good price, and holds up. I wear it for hikes with my scouts troop, rafting, and to summer BBQ's. It keeps me covered from the sun, it dried fast, and most importantly makes me look good!

My son hates to wear shorts. These pants are lightweight enough for hot days and protect him for the son. The pockets are great and hold a lot of gear.

My husband bought this shirt because he wore a similar Columbia shirt when he thru hiked the 815 mile Arizona trail. It was light, tough and kept the sun from burning his skin. Amazing product!!!

My husband is a commercial construction superintendent in Southwest Florida. I bought him 3 pairs of these pants and he loves them. He works in some pretty hot and humid conditions and if he loves a pair of pants, you know that they must be comfortable and cool. He said that they wick moisture away from him and keep him cool, even when he's on a roof in 100+ degree weather! I am ecstatic that I found pants that work for him!!

I love these for its comfort. This is my 4th pair in last few year. The ones I had before lasted very long. Only time you need to take care is moving around a bush or near sharp edges , The cloth is easily pierced by pointy edges and can damage the fabric. Thats how I killed my previous pants.

These pants are light weight and are cooler than the bonehead pants I already own. I would match them to blood and guts pants.
The only thing I wish they had would be a zipper on the right rear pocket like older bonehead pants. The Velcro just does not cut it.

It is a great Shirt I will be buying another one. The only complain was it runs a bit small I would suggest go size bigger. But other than the quality is good and protecs you from the sun really well

Got these for my husband for a fishing trip in Canada. He loved them! Said they were comfortable , not too hot. Kept the mosquitoes from biting and he didn’t get sunburned . Overall a very comfortable pant and they looked good after 7 days and no laundry!!He wears a 36x30 and the size was right on

I bought these for my husband and he loves them. The fabric is light-weight and strong, which makes them a good hot day option. The fit is also good, loose enough for comfort but not too baggy. He loves the extra pockets that this style provides as well.

I bought these cargo pants to wear in the hot central Texas summer and they are great. Very lightweight and cool. They dry very quickly. I like the fit, roomy without looking baggy. Comes in 36" length which, at 6'4" I need.

I'm 55 and always looking for comfortable, and yet active clothing that allows me to keep a healthy lifestyle. After many tries I found that Columbia just makes the right products for me, but most imporantly with a purpose, which is a very important element when I shop.

I have 2 pairs of these pants and will soon order more. I am very warm blooded and these are great for those hot summer days fishing out of my kayak. They are light enough to still breath and when they get wet they dry out super fast. I have worn these on several moderate hiking outings and have had no issues with snagging on brush unexpectedly.
My one complaint is they run a little long. I am 6'3" 285# and I wear a 42-34 pant, these are about 1/2" long on the inseam. Not a huge deal, but it will affect the life of them if they drag. Still a small inconvenience for a superior product.
