These were overall nice shoes, but just a little too narrow in the toe box for comfort. Tried both my usual size 6 and a 6.5 and both just felt a bit tight.

These shoes are great for wide feet. Plenty of room in the toe box, with cushiony support for the whole foot.

Just a bit narrow. I can get my feet in without pain it's just a bit more snug than I prefer. One I break them in will probably be great. They do look really nice.

They are wonderful. I had the same shoes before and wore them out. Don't stop carrying them!

I shouldn't have listened to the "recommendation" and just ordered my regular size. These EEE were way too wide. As usual Zappos outperforms!

I have always loved this shoe but when I needed to get a wide in my size Zappos was the only place that I found it have been a go to place since then Sandals that I just ordered are great I am so glad as I really have a time finding shoes that do not hurt my feet spent 28yrs as an RN on them has created this problem but Zappos has helped a lot rn

Orthotics fit & shoes are comfortable

They're very comfortable. I have painful foot issues at the base of my big toes. It's hard to find shoes wide enough not to press in that area. These are perfect. They seem a little wider through the toes which is perfect for me. You just can't beat a black athletic shoe for comfort and fashion.

This is my third pair of these shoes. I wear them to death, and then buy another pair. As they are very comfortable, and they look good enough. Their look is kind of neutral, and not very fashionable. So if you want something more fancy - these probably are not for you. But for me they are perfect. These are my work shoes, and I work in ER where you need to walk A LOT. These are my gym shoes. And they are perfect walking shoes too. The outsole is a little slippery when I wear them to zumba. But that maybe not their fault: our zumba class in in the school cafeteria, so they floor there is not the best for dancing. Highly recommend for ultimate comfort.

The fit was great but the arch support only 3 stars....I wish they use memory foam! But it looks cute and my feet looked smaller ??

One review said these walking shoes "felt like slippers" and I agree - they are super comfortable. I need a wide width due to bunions and they fit perfectly while offering stability for 3+ mile daily walks.

I wear a 7 1/2 D, not a C, not an E. these fit like a true D, not like a the new Reeboks DMX (once my very favorite, but now only fit a C) and so many others that have gone to artificial leather or other inferior materials. Finally after many years, over 5, I have finally found a shoe that is the right width, length and is comfortable. I only wish that I could get the Punter in Black or even Navy as well. If you're like me, great shoe! Good walking shoe, neutral, they don't pull the foot in or force it out. I don't trip in these. My feet tend to flip onto their outsides and these shoes don't cause that. I am reviewing the Easy Spirit Punter.

I have a difficult time finding shoes due to MS. This pair did the trick. YAY. I have Shoes!

MY ORIGINAL REVIEW STATED THE COMFORT OF THESE SHOES, BUT AFTER WEARING THEM AT THE FAIR ALL DAY, I HAD TO RE WRITE THIS REVIEW. THESE ARE THE ONLY SHOES I HAVE WORN THAT ACTUALLY CAUSED MY FEET AND LEGS TO HURT, THE LONGER I WEAR THEM. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT SUPPORTIVE OR COMFORTABLE, THE LONGER I WORE THEM. I WILL BE GOING BACK TO SAUCONY.

I work 12 hour shifts as an RN and am on me feet 99% of the time. These shoes have worked really well for me. I just ordered my second pair. My first pair lasted 2.5 years and that is putting 12,000+ steps on each shift! Highly recommend.

Great sneaker. This is my second pair, and so glad that this model is still available. They are very comfortable and have great support. Definitely recommend them!

It's getting harder and harder to find Easy Spirit in stores, and I really like their walking shoes for everyday wear, even with skirts or dresses. I don't know why I didn't think of Zappos sooner, but it's a bit of a step of faith to purchase clothing or shoes before "trying them on." Next time I need a pair of walking shoes, I'll be back on the Zappos' site! There may not be any difference between Easy Spirit shoes activity level 1, 2, or 3, except in my head, but I shy away from any Easy Spirit activity level 1 shoes. These are rated activity level 3, so I'm looking forward to them providing me with good support and long-lasting wear.

I have a very wide foot with a high instep. After I loosened the laces just a bit, the shoe fit perfectly and is very comfortable.

I just returned from a trip to France where I wore these walking shoes all day for 2 weeks. They were comfortable, and even though not the fashion in France, I was walking in comfort. No sore feet and so I could walk all day.

Great shoes - The Easy Spirit Punter is the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. I had a very painful heel until I found this shoe. Now my feet are pain free.

Best shoe for comfort! This shoe fits like a glove if you have a narrow foot & need AA. It's hard to find narrow's. This one is more comfortable than the New Balance I bought at the same time. Zappos impressed me with their rapid delivery.

Ahhhhhh! Now THIS is comfort! My feet were happy the instant they got into this shoe. I have narrow feet, high arches and heel problems that can be very painful. Finding shoes that really fit and feel good is very difficult for me. I have found my shoe!!

Excellent Level 3 - When the Easy Spirit store closed in the mall I went on a quest for a new pair of shoes to wear in my exercise class. It appears that stores do not carry narrow shoes. I have had severe ankle breaks and the tongue on most shoes is so long it rubs a swollen part of my ankle. I took a chance on Punters and couldn’t have been happier. And they were delivered the next day!
