I rarely write reviews but felt I should for this one. It's a positive one for the shoe, just a bit contrary on the "it runs large" comments. I always wear size 8, regular (never a wide) but have to be careful about narrow style shoes b/c my foot runs on the wide side. All the comments of "order a half size smaller" must have been from folks with narrower feet than me, because the 7 1/2 was snug. Snug in length, snug in width of the straps, snug in width of the foot bed. The 8 is perfect. So for me, this shoe fits true to size. I could see how someone with a narrow foot would not like this shoe. It has a wide foot bed that might be unappealing if your foot is narrow (I wouldn't know, I'm just guessing here!); you're maybe going to show a lot of foot bed and you're going to have a lot of strap to tighten with one little buckle. But if you have a wider foot like me, you'll love this shoe and you should probably order the size you normally wear. That's what worked for me. It's light weight, pretty and feminine. I got the palm brown--I have fair skin and wear mostly neutrals, blues, and blacks so they should match my clothes nicely; they look great with my jeans today. I haven't road tested them yet but will in a month when we go to Florida. I'm hopeful they'll be the perfect summer shoe & I'll be living in them the next 3 months.

I love the feel of these just above my toes -- very comfortable & stable. Some complain of the strap being too long; on me, with my high foot, the strap is barely long enough. The foot bed is a little odd (the human foot is so variable!). But all in all, I love the sandals.

I got these for my Peace Corps service in West Africa and wear them almost every day--I can bike and walk for miles and they're very comfortable, even during the rainy season. I have another pair of the classic, sturdier Tevas as well, but wear them less often. I have a narrow heel and wider toe-box and haven't had any problems with the strap or getting them on. They do run at least half a size big and are not as sturdy as the classic Tevas, but I like that they're more light-weight.

I love this sandal! Put it on out of the box and it felt great! I usually wear a 9 1/2 -- ordered a 9. Arrived the next day. Looks stylish enough to wear with dressier pants and skirts.

Great sandal! Lightweight, yet proper support. Adjustable straps are perfectly placed, no uncomfortable rubbing. Really like that they are sporty but are delicate looking.

Tricky to get on sometimes if you put your foot in the wrong way, but stand up to a day of summer walking and keep their feet cool.

One of the most comfortable sandals. I also have them in red. I can walk all day in them in the city! They are so cute in Pearson, I rock them with rolled up jeans and summer dresses.

Great comfortable shoe for walking around town. Not enough support for hiking but would be good for kayaking. I have very narrow feet (4A) and was able to shorten the strap enough to get a tight fit by cutting the strap and quickly sewing it back together. Ideal for B, A or AA width feet. Good arch support and cushioning.

I have flat, narrow feet and find it hard to find comfortable every day walking sandals; but these are fantastic! So comfortable, I realized how comfortable they were after I forgot to take them off when trying them on around house. Usually with any new shoe there's a breaking in period, but not with these. The narrow straps make them look less clunky than a lot of sport/walking sandals. I wish Teva made more styles along these lines.

I bought these to replace my Keen Paza sandals which finally fell apart but they are discontinued. These are great replacements with a couple of "must knows" - they do run small. I went down a half size because I wanted to make sure I was not compromising the width. It was fine and I could have probably gone down a full size but the strap helps. Speaking of which, some have complained about the strap loosening. On another website that sells these (but from which I didn't purchase) figured it out and said - "I've read that other users have had an issue with the top strap & buckle coming loose. A quick note on that: it happened to me initially, but then I realized why it was happening. The buckle itself has a little locking mechanism on it that engages when you tighten the strap and then pull it in a downward direction. If you just pull the strap to the right or left to tighten it w/out pulling it down after, the lock (bar in the center of the buckle) will not engage. I've started using this technique and they stay tight every time I adjust the straps." So don't worry about the strap/buckle and go down a 1/2 size (full if you don't have wide feet).

Extremely comfortable with great support. I tend to get heel pain, and this is the perfect sandal to avoid that problem. Love it!

They are the best for traveling. I wore them on the cruise ship with everything (I had black) and walking all over Disney World Parks for 4 days. I also got my 7 year old a pair (who is sensitive to shoes) and she liked them too.

I had a pair of heavy duty Teva terra sandals that finally needed to be replaced. I bought a pair of Teva Zira. I love them. They are light weight yet you can walk miles in comfort. I chose the gray color and they go with anything. The sizing is spot on. I do wish the strap would be a little longer so that I could loosen them.

These red stripe are my second pair -- black for the first pair -- and I am considering getting another color. The first pair were in a shoe store in FL and I tried on a whim as they only had in a 1/2 size smaller than I usually wear (8.5). My foot is slightly wider than medium and these fit perfectly. I am on my feet a lot of the day -- my feet did not hurt after wearing these sandals all day. To test this, I wore the black pair all day the next day and had no foot pain at the end of the day either. Buy 1/2 size smaller than you usually wear. I recommend these shoes, zippy and comfy, too.

These are incredibly comfortable! I'm a habitual flip flop wearer, but I have to say that these are even more comfortable than flip flops. I wore these all over Italy, walking 10+ hours a day and would definitely purchase again.

Love these shoes right out of the box! And then I put them on - even better! They are comfortable and don't need any breaking in. I get lots of compliments on them. Ordered a half size smaller than my normal shoe size and they fit perfect. Highly recommend this for an athletic sandal. Love that the straps are skinny too so the shoe isn't overwhelming.

Woohoo! These sandals rock. I love them so much I've bought several pairs although the first set shows no signs of wearing out anytime soon. Stylish enough to wear with a dress, tough enough to go bouldering or sharp shelled beach walking. Love them!

These shoes are awesome. They are very comfortable and have yet to give me any blisters. I've been walking around in them for over a month (which includes teaching elementary music and walking my dog almost 5 miles). They also have a low profile which is nice for someone with size 11 feet like me. I actually got the size 10 though and they fit perfectly! They're worth every penny!

I love these sandals! I wear them while I walk the dog, go on hikes, shop. They are comfortable to wear and allow my feet to tan without so many tan lines.

I thought that this sandal was not going to work out because of how thin the straps were, but it works out perfectly! The sandals are very attractive and have good support.

This is my third pair of Teva's and I have no idea what I did before them...they are so comfy! Love them! Also, ordering from Zappos is a no brainer, always an excellent experience. Fast and easy!

After taking these on my recent research trip to Lanzarote, I am not disappointed in the slightest. This sandal is spectacular. I am extremely picky when it comes to shoes and I had a lot of expectations for a great walking sandal (good for a walk-all-day tourist like me). My feet are also pansies and really sensitive so comfort and blister-free from the get-go were a must. These passed the test with flying colors. The arch support is moderate, but more than adequate for my fairly high arches. The footbed is the plastic antimicrobial kind but a lot softer than it looks in the photo and did rub my feet raw at all. My feet sweat a lot (seriously, pansy feet), and while the sweat does kind of get trapped between your feet and the shoe, it's easy to air out and I don't think other, similar sandals would be different. The straps are wells placed to provide support and stability and while the the D-ring did rub up against the outside of my feet a little, it was not really very noticeable. The buckle closure is very tight and it can take a second to get the shoes on but, in the buckle's favor, it means that it won't loosen itself while you're hiking and threaten your stability. I also found that leaving the strap all the way out, rather than cinched to my feet, was fine for just knocking around town (though, take it from me, tighten them up before you start climbing over collapsed lava walls). I waded into the ocean with them and while the straps didn't dry crazy fast, they also didn't chafe my feet, so top marks for water shoes, too. I love the color (true to photo), it's very neutral, which looks good on my pale pansy feet and coordinates really well with my predominantly blue, green, purple, and black wardrobe. The style is superb. They're not quite as low profile as the Zirra Lite, but you really need to want a hard, barefoot sole to like those (this sole is much more flexible and springy). The low profile means I can wear them with everything from a casual dress to bathing suit. They're sporty but not overly sporty; they're definitely much more versatile and attractive than some of the clunkier Teva's or even (perish the thought) tennis shoes, which is a big plus. Get these shoes! And, if you're on the fence, the Zappos return policy is amazing. I ordered these in two different sizes, since others said they run large (which they do, order a half size down) and it was easy to return the pair that didn't fit. Lastly, these are a bit more expensive than most sandals people buy for everyday walking around, but I think it's worth it to invest in a pair that are good for your feet and your body. My feet weren't overly tired or sore at the end of the day and if you do as much walking as I do, you really need a good pair of shoes. These won't disappoint!

I bought these right before a week long trip to Disney. Wore them every day. Very comfortable, no blisters and they still actually looked stylish.

Another great Teva product! I usually wear an 8, but ordered the 7.5 and they fit nicely (I might even fit in the 7). The picture doesn't do justice to the slight sparkle on the strapping. Nice cushioning, with a nice, firm sole. I've worn these kayaking, site seeing, strolling through the woods, and to the grocery store - so, yeah, they're versatile. I've been a Teva fan for nearly 20 years and am, once again, very satisfied!

I am very happy with these stylish, comfortable and lightweight Tevas. The straps rubbed a little when I first wore them, but that has not been a big issue. Based on all the feedback, I ordered a size down (a 7) and they fit perfectly.
