I purchased these Tevas for my 15 yr. old daughter for camp after trying Keens and the Chacos. She has a slightly wide foot and the others were not nearly as comfortable. These are super simple to put on and she tells me extremely comfortable for hiking, etc. She does normally wear an 8 1/2 in almost every shoe, but she needed an 8 in these. I've tried them a couple of times and will probably get a pair, love them!

Uses: Hiking, sightseeing in Europe, at the beach, boating. Any terrain. Style: Multiple friends at university have asked me where I got my shoes and asked to try them on! Feminine but sporty. Foot type?: Wide or tired/injured feet Sizing: I wear a size 8 in teva boots but had to get a 6 in these. How to know if they fit: When standing up, your heel should fit neatly in the countoured footbed, completely covering the logo in the heel cup. There should be about a thumbnail's worth of space between your toes and the end of the shoe.

I love this shoe...now that I have the correct size. It runs extremely large -- I reviewed it as fitting a full size larger, but I think it may even be a size & a half larger in some cases. As an example, here are the sizes I wear in similar brands: Keen 7 or 7.5, Montrail 7, Chaco 8. The size that ended up fitting me in this shoe was 6.5, which I ended up buying locally because Zappos was out of that size in the color I wanted. Other reviewers who are saying that the strap is too long after it is tightened or are complaining that the shoe feels floppy on their foot are most likely wearing a size that is too large. The strap only extends about 1.5 inches beyond the buckle when I have it tightened appropriately; my ankles are "average" size. Before getting the size 6.5, I ordered a 7.5 & a 7 which both had the problems described above. The 6.5 fits like a comfortable glove, neither too loose nor too tight & was good to go right out of the box. I was looking for a vegan, tough, more elegant alternative to flip flops that would let my feet breathe during our 110+ degree summers & the Zirra fits the bill!

Love them. Very comfortable, and much more supportive that flip-flops. I feel like the sizes run a bit big; just keep that in mind.

These are great sandals. They are very comfortable. I had to get a size 8 when I usually wear a 9. So they run a bit big. Great for the water. He straps dry fast.

Very airy; I like the minimalist effect & they look very nice when wearing them. Very comfortable.

These are very cute with all sorts of clothes, I tend to wear casual skirts shorts ect. The style is more feminine than a lot of shoes in this sporty catagory, I like the fact I can wear so many things with the same pair of shoes, I'm planning a vacation and this will work well. Thanks Zappos!

This shoe is comfortable. It seems the the strap occasionally loosens on its own. Arch support is okay but not great.

I received several complements on these sandals while on vacation, but the comfort was slightly lacking. My feet are on the upper end of regular width which means the toe strap hinge hits right above my little toe. After several hours of wear the toe strap hinge begins to rub against the top of my toe causing a blister. I thought this might be part of the breaking in process, but after several weeks, I still get blisters if I wear them more than one day in a row. The sandals only have a single tightening strap at the ankle which has to be adjusted frequently to keep them tight. Arch support is good-- no foot fatigue or pain (other than the blister) after hours of wear.

They are cute. I had to return them because the strap around the instep was not long enough to go around my ankle. The velcro doesn't come close to meeting. So, if you have a high arch and/ or fat ankles, this style may not be for you.

Really cute Teva's, however, it lacks the stability I am accustomed to with my previous Teva's. My heel slipped in this shoe.

Love the style and comfort of these sandals. Walked for hours and my feet were happy! Light weight and lots of cushion for your feet. Looked great with my sport dresses and capri jeans. Got the black but plan to get the same style in more colors!The straps do run a bit loose even when adjusted all the way which it was not a problem to me, but if you want a more snug fit select a half a size smaller then your usual size.

Very flattering! Unlike many hiking sandal styles these do not make your feet look like a troll's. Super light weight, too. I would like to buy other colors, but the light insole color on some is not very practical.

I ordered these shoes because I knew I was going to be doing a lot of walking in hot weather, and wanted a sandal that was comfortable, didn't rub, and provided support for my feet, but wasn't ugly. This delivered on all of those! It's so awesome!

I love these shoes! It does not even feel like you have them on your feet. I like the soles of the shoes in black as I wear them alot in the desert and for dress and the dirt and sweat is not noticed. I have worn Teva for several years and I think this is my favorite out of all of them. Zappos has excellent service. I had to return a pair to get the proper size and the shoes came fast with no problems.

I like that this shoe adjusts to the width of my foot. I have narrow feet and this one works! The foot bed takes some getting used to but I still love the shoe. I normally wear a 9 in Keen and 8 to 9 in others; I needed an 8 in this one. Thank you Zappos!

Absolutely loved these shoes! They were perfect for a 2 week trip to Europe. Did lots of walking, hiking & dining. Perfect for all occasions. Can dress up or down depending. Very comfy, true to size & never once even got a hint of a blister. And it was the 1st time I wore them. Didn't need to be broken in.

Great sandal with minimal straps - and you can tighten the front and cross strap effectively. It ran a little large I thought so if you're on the fence, round down not up. Color is nice and bright as pictured. Very happy with these.

Normally Tevas are too narrow for me, but these run nice and wide in the forefoot, where I need it (duck feet). These also run at least a half-size too large. (I got my first pair in a store.) The narrow, adjustable straps are comfortable and flattering. The footbed is more comfortable than Chacos, and supportive like Keens, which I see another customer mentioned. Now that I have black, brown and aqua, my summer casual shoe wardrobe is pretty much complete!

I have finally found a pair of sandals that I can comfortably wear for more than 1 hour. I have tried every brand and thought that I would not be able to wear sandals on my vacation. After 1 hour my feet hurt because of lack of support and the thin soles, I cannot wear sandals very long before I start to limp with pain. I put these sandals on in my house and wore them the whole day without pain. Then I ventured out to shop, no pain. The Zoo, no problem. I have now had them for 3 weeks, have been wearing them constantly and I am ecstatic. No swelling and heat blistered feet because I have to wear tennis shoes in the heat. I am sold and a customer of Teva Zirra for life! Thank you! And, I am enjoying my vacation in sandals for the first time ever.

Elegant and clean design, worthy of long walks or office wear with casual dresses. Nice arch but not as supportive as other rugged Teva. Completely adjustable since the single strap can slide. You can see I liked these yet I had to return them. The grosgrain ribbon-like strap rubbed the top of my toes. Because the strap can slide, it made a sawing motion across my toes when my foot flexed. If you don't roll up on the ball of your foot, maybe this design will work better for you. Thank you, Zappos, for making returns so easy.

I just received the Teva Zirra in the mail and I got a huge bargain on it from one of the bargain sites! It is a dream to walk in. I was on the look out for cool looking and comfortable sandals that were stylish and sexy to look at but at the same time that were comfortable enough to walk in for long periods of time. This is my solution!

Light and flexible. Easily adjustable. Great arch support for all day walking. Cool looks.

Love these shoes! They are exactly as described and everything I hoped for! Very flexible, very comfortable, and I was particularly impressed with the adjustability. They are my new everyday summer shoe which go just as well with a cute skirt as they do in hiking attire.

I bought these in black and I love them. I am 64 and I need arch support and a heel that doesn't allow me to roll off. I work cheap sandals last year and had to have knee surgery because there was no support in the shoes. And they are pretty!
