I normally wear an 8 but bought these in a 7.5 because of all the sizing comments. The 7.5 fit me perfectly. I wore these to Bonnaroo Music Festival in TN (4 days of walking and standing) -- they were incredibly comfortable and I can't believe how well they held up. They look surprisingly good for all the abuse. Styling is more feminine than other Tevas, too. Best sandals I've ever owned!

I am surprised by how much I love these sandals. I have been trying to make Chacos happen for me for years, but I just can't seem to. They are quality, well made shoes, and a great company, but they rub my feet raw, and I have tried several different styles. The past few summers I have worn Birks for knocking around, but I really wanted a little more versatile sandal for this summer. One I could wear to the beach, the pool, on the boat, running errands, in the rain, etc. The Zirra have met my needs plus they are extremely comfortable. They are cute, and I can walk for hours in them. However, if you have wide feet these may not work for you. My foot is almost too wide for them. I don't think they run especially long, though, as some have mentioned. The little extra toe room at the top is really meant to protect your big toe from rocks or uneven pavement. I am really happy with this purchase and think the shoes are definitely worth the price.

These sandals are great! I'm really impressed with these...I used them for light hiking and beach wearing in Vieques PR. If you need a good beach shoe this is it. I wish I had these in Italy where there were so many rocks on the beach you couldn't get around very easy in and out of water. These would have been perfect. Anyway they fit great and were surprisingly sturdy in water. I kept saying throughout the trip "I love these sandals." They are also a bit more fashionable then your normal Teva with thin straps which I why I bought them to begin with.

I really wanted this to work but unfortunately it seems to run big. I typically wear a size 5 and it is way too big.

This is my first pair of Tevas, and they do not disappoint. I have oddly skinny feet and these sandals have one continuous strap that is tightened on top. It works well for my feet.

I was looking for something to replace my Chaco obsession. Chacos hurt my feet because of the high arch and lack of flexibility. These were the perfect substitute. The have about the same support/padding as my dearly beloved Keens, which is exactly what I wanted. I ordered the light blue and love it! Lots of compliments on the color and style. My only negative is that I wish the footbed itself was darker (like maybe a charcoal or even black) because it shows dirt easily. I normally wear a 10, but in these a 9.5 was perfect. Overall, I love these and would definitely consider ordering another pair!

I was on a mission to replace my old (hideously styled but very useful) Tevas. My goal was to have something that I can take camping and doing all of the usual outdoorsy stuff, but not have to look like I'm being supported and comfy. Because let's face it: being comfy isn't always the most stylish of looks, and just because I am tromping through streams doesn't mean I want to look like I've got bricks strapped to my feet (sorry, Chaco)! I was torn between this and a similar pair by another manufacturer, but the pair from the other manufacturer, while much prettier, simply don't get the job done in outdoorsy conditions. These fit the bill wonderfully - wore them kayaking and hiking this past weekend with nary a problem. I had the tiniest bit of concern in getting them wet, as that always made my old pair stretch and get a bit looser than I was comfortable with (which also happens with another pair I bought from another shoemaker at the same time), but with my Zirras: never a problem. Added bonus? I got complimented all day, and now the other girls now want a pair of their own! Success!

I bought these in brown along with another pair of Tevas. These are not as thick and supportive as the traditional ones, but they are supportive and comfortable. Under a pair of jeans, they look like a standard sandal, perfect for a vacation that will include hiking as well as nice dinners. I came back to buy them in black as well. Fit my wide foot well, although with almost no extra strap left. It would be nice if Teva made all their sandals with a longer strap to accommodate those with wider feet since they don't make wide shoes.

I absolutely love these shoes. I had a two week trip, in hot and rainy weather, with pebbly beaches that required water sandals. I ordered a few different types of sandals, trying to find ones that were cute, for walking shoes, but would still provide the necessary support and comfort. When the Zirras came, I was a little worried that they were so strappy -- I was worried that they wouldn't sufficiently hold my feet in, or that the straps would loosen and have to be constantly retightened. But they were the cutest of the walking shoes, so I sucked up my concerns and went with it. Great choice. I wore these shoes, basically out of the box, for two and a half weeks. I walked for hours each day, and while my feet were tired, they never really hurt. My concerns about the shoes being so insubstantial were completely unfounded. No blisters, nothing, without even breaking them in. I will say that these run big -- I normally wear a 9.5-10, leaning towards a 10; in these I wore a 9. I ordered both, and while the 9.5 felt like it fit, it also felt a little floppy in the toe region. The 9 didn't have that issue -- make sure to size down! Basically I love these shoes and would recommend them to anyone who will be doing a lot of walking, but doesn't have time to break in a new pair of walking sandals. They do look kind of like travel/walking sandals, so if you want the cutest most stylish shoes these probably aren't for you, but if you want a walking sandal on the cuter side of the line, these would be great.

Like other Teva products I have experienced the sole is cushioned/comfortable without excessive support/bulk. "Orthotic" and "Outdoor" types of shoes typically aggravate my knees and hips. These are the perfect amount of shock absorption for hiking and traveling, have no rubbing/blister-making properties and are tailored and clean looking without causing my skeletal system distress. I like that the style of the shoe is more light and international rather than the bulky look that tends to dominate the Pacific Northwest. You could wear these anywhere in the world and they would look sophisticated and hold up to the task at hand. I did end up wearing a size smaller than I usually need in sandals, and even then I had plenty of room and likely could have gone down one more size without having any part of my foot falling off/out of the shoe.

This is a very comfortable and an attractive sandal. It's more feminine looking. It does not have the thickness of a traditional Teva.

I have been looking for comfort sandals that do not scream "comfort." These are cute and comfortable. I normally wear between a size 6½ and a 7. I ordered the 7 and they were huge. They were so huge that I think a size 6 would fit. So I am exchanging the 7. I hope a smaller size will be as comfortable and cute as I think they will be!

This is a darling shoe and looks like regular sandals, good with pants or a skirt. However, most size 11 sandals fit me (my feet are just a tad over an 11) but not these. They were just small enough to look odd. Too bad they don't come in a 12.

They are comfortable, but run a bit large. The straps are really long too. (They hit the ground when pulled tight.)

These sandals have a single adjustable strap that turns and covers the toes, the foot, and the ankle, but not the heel. You can't adjust the tightness over the toes or foot separately from the ankle. Also, the heel strap is not adjustable. As a result, my feet didn't fit the arch properly -- my heel sat too far back. I measure a 9.5, but that is rarely comfortable for me, so I usually wear a 10. If you're between sizes you may want to size down. I loved the practically barefoot look but it just didn't offer the practical support I was hoping for from the picture.

Very disappointed in these sandals. The strap across the foot and around the ankle was too long, I had to buckle it as far as it could go and it was still a bit loose. Furthermore, once I began walking around in these sandals, the strap around the ankle would get looser and looser causing my foot to move around. While I do like the style, and the foot bed is comfortable, I do not see how these would support my foot at all. I wanted these sandals for light hiking, water activities, and days of long walking while traveling, unfortunately these would not even be ideal for a short stroll. These are going back.

These have been my go-to travel sandal. I wore them non-stop for the past month throughout Costa Rica, hiking up mountains, walking on boats, beaches and through creeks, rivers and puddles. They are completely adjustable with straps thin enough to keep them from looking clunky and unattractive like most other sandals in this category. The footbed is comfortable and supportive, the sole provides plenty of traction on wet surfaces and in loose dirt/sand and the fact that they are completely synthetic allows them not only to be totally waterproof but also allows them to dry quickly and be rinsed or washed easily. I would highly recommend these to anyone and only wish they came in more colors (and possibly another style with toe guard for more rigorous activity). Quick note: Out of the box they were a great fit, only had to wear a bandaid across the back of my heel to protect from the strap for the first week, but after that had no problems at all.

Just got these shoes and I'm delighted! Read feedback that indicated they might run a bit big...I've graduated from a size 10 to a size 10 1/2 or even an 11, so I crossed my fingers and ordered the 10 - they're perfect! Thank you Zappos - great products, great service!

I was looking for a "supportive" sandal to wear on my mile walk to and from the bus stop every day. The black is subtle enough to wear with my work clothes and still provides the support I need without looking like an athletic sandal. Normally wear a 10.5 narrow, so I ordered a 10, but even with the strap as tight as it goes, it is still a little loose. I'm going to try the 9.5 to see if that helps any.

I purchased these Tevas for my 15 yr. old daughter for camp after trying Keens and the Chacos. She has a slightly wide foot and the others were not nearly as comfortable. These are super simple to put on and she tells me extremely comfortable for hiking, etc. She does normally wear an 8 1/2 in almost every shoe, but she needed an 8 in these. I've tried them a couple of times and will probably get a pair, love them!

Uses: Hiking, sightseeing in Europe, at the beach, boating. Any terrain. Style: Multiple friends at university have asked me where I got my shoes and asked to try them on! Feminine but sporty. Foot type?: Wide or tired/injured feet Sizing: I wear a size 8 in teva boots but had to get a 6 in these. How to know if they fit: When standing up, your heel should fit neatly in the countoured footbed, completely covering the logo in the heel cup. There should be about a thumbnail's worth of space between your toes and the end of the shoe.

I love this shoe...now that I have the correct size. It runs extremely large -- I reviewed it as fitting a full size larger, but I think it may even be a size & a half larger in some cases. As an example, here are the sizes I wear in similar brands: Keen 7 or 7.5, Montrail 7, Chaco 8. The size that ended up fitting me in this shoe was 6.5, which I ended up buying locally because Zappos was out of that size in the color I wanted. Other reviewers who are saying that the strap is too long after it is tightened or are complaining that the shoe feels floppy on their foot are most likely wearing a size that is too large. The strap only extends about 1.5 inches beyond the buckle when I have it tightened appropriately; my ankles are "average" size. Before getting the size 6.5, I ordered a 7.5 & a 7 which both had the problems described above. The 6.5 fits like a comfortable glove, neither too loose nor too tight & was good to go right out of the box. I was looking for a vegan, tough, more elegant alternative to flip flops that would let my feet breathe during our 110+ degree summers & the Zirra fits the bill!

These are great sandals. They are very comfortable. I had to get a size 8 when I usually wear a 9. So they run a bit big. Great for the water. He straps dry fast.
