Mephisto Helen - This is pair #2 of Helen's...the last ones finally gave out after 7 years of hard wearing. They are immediately comfy, no blister from the toe strap. Out of the box and into your life - couldn't be happier.

Wonderful sandal - Took me a while to break in but once they were broken in they are the most comfortable sandal I've ever worn. Thinking about getting another pair in a different color...

First thong sandal that doesn't hurt my toes! I bought the Helen in black, distressed brown and sand/taupe. I really love these sandals. The thong actually splits around the big toe; this is so much more comfortable to me than a regular thong sandal. I really love Mephisto--their walking shoes are the best. These sandals are also really comfortable for walking. If I would fix one thing, it would be to make them available in different widths. My feet just fit this width; the Helen actually feels just a little narrower than other shoes that I own.

Great sandals! These sandals are comfortable right out of the box. I have worn the Helen for several years, and can walk miles in them. Good arch support and they look very stylish. Thanks, Zappos, for the great service, too!

Best sandal ever! This is my fourth pair of these in the last 8 years! I love the patent leather and they are the most comfortable, yet stylish sandals I have ever owned. Mephisto will rebuild the footbed, but I love having the old pairs as back up or near every door.

I was having trouble with heel spurs and needed a sandal that would give me support and still look good. This fit the bill perfectly! I purchased these a year ago and wore them on vacation in New York. We walked miles, stood in lines and sometimes had to jog to catch a cab. These sandals did it all!!! No sore feet! I absolutely recommend these shoes to everyone. I just bought my 2nd pair in a different color leather. Worth the money? You bet!!! Zappos is the best place to order shoes (or purses) that I have found so far!

Absolute Heaven, not Helen! When the buckle is appropriately tightened, not too loose, there is little rubbing between the toes. This is an absolute pleasure to wear 18+ hours, and requires no breaking into. Arch support is really great, I never thought there was anything better than Birkenstock, but these absorb shock way better in the heel and support the foot much better. I now own two pairs!

COMFORTABLE!!! I love Mephisto shoes. They saved my feet when I was pregnant and out walking everyday. After my pregnancy, I purchased two pairs. The Helen model fits perfectly and comes in so many great colors! Great sandals!

Love these shoes - The first pair I bought I wore out, it took five years but it finally happened! I wear them all the time, the best casual sandal I have ever had! Puts Birkenstocks to shame. No comparison.

Love this shoe! I have owned this shoe in brown leather for 7 years. I have worn it in all conditions, including when working in water and mud in the yard. It is still comfortable, but the cork is breaking down. I will order another pair before the summer ends.

Mephisto Helen - I bought these in silver patent--a color not currently carried by Zappos. Now I want them in two or three other colors! These shoes are amazing. I bought them to go to a wedding--they are dressy but also bohemian (sorta like wedding Birkenstocks) and so very comfortable. I have heel spurs and the arch support is superb. The strap across the inset helps adjust for width. The foot bed is soft, cushy, and molds to your feet. Yummy shoes!

Order a size up! I wear a size 8.5 and needed the size 40! Once I figured out the sizing, I was very pleased with this shoe. It does run on the narrow side, if my feet were any wider it would not work, but they fit. I typically wear sneakers with a very chunky orthotic; this is a nice and comfortable sandal vacation for my feet.

LOVE THEM! I have been walking around with Plantar Fasciitis for 11 months now; in addition I have a very high arch, am a runner and have a slim foot. Nothing in the shoe world feels good, except these. I will slowly add more to my wardrobe, I absolutely love them. A great shoe AND they are very cute. I hope they will always be available. :-) My feet don’t hurt anymore-yippee!

Mephisto Helen - The best comfort shoe. Great arch support which was very important to me. I have tried Birkenstock and Ecco -no arch at all. Also this shoe fits a narrow foot quite nicely, unlike Birkenstock which is wide. I am switching all of my shoes to Mephisto because of the great arch support.

Mephisto Helen, great shoe, size change? I have worn this style shoe for several years, and I have three pair size 38. With my most recent purchase, size 38 was shorter than the shoes I already have. Had to reorder size 39. Helen is a narrow shoe which happens to suit my foot. I love this shoe. I just hope the sizes will stay stable.

Helen - It’s my favorite sandal. Extremely comfortable. It does take a bit of breaking in. But once it’s done, you won't believe how great they feel. I have them in about 5 colors.

Mephisto Helen - Very comfortable shoe. I am a size 8 1/2 or 9, so I ordered 39 and 40. I settled on the 39, but it is perfect when my feet are resting in the footbed but are a tad short in the toes when walking. Size 40 seemed too big.

LOVE IT! This is an awesome shoe. I have a heel spur and I can’t even feel it with this shoe. It's too cute also.

Mephisto Helen - These are really nice sandals. They have a great arch and are very comfortable. The only trouble I had was getting a blister once last fall after walking around in them for a while, but it hasn't happened since. These sandals are both cute and unique! You can basically wear them anywhere from dinner to a daytrip. I recommend them as a high-quality, universal sandal.

Fantastic! These are my favorite sandals. They have great arch support. I can wear them all day anywhere. My feet never hurt. They also help me keep my back aligned. I wouldn't trade them for anything.

So comfortable it's my third pair - Very comfortable and good arch support, I have had problems with my feet with so much walking in NYC. These are as comfortable as tennis shoes but have more style.

Love my Mephistos - A friend recommended the Mephistos Helen's to me recently when we were planning a vacation with lots of walking involved. I took her advice and this ended up being the only pair of shoes I wore during the entire vacation!
