The Sperry Gold Cup boat shoe is the best I have seen on the market. I have purchased no fewer than 10 pairs over the years. Its best feature is a thicker sole than the norm which makes walking more comfortable and secure. Be sure to choose the one with the reinforced heel area. The retail price is around $180.00 and worth it.

Comfortable and nicely made. Issue was whether or not to keep the wide width or exchange for a medium width, good thing I exchanged them for a smaller width since they stretch.

Comfortable and durable. I've been wearing Gold Cups for over 20 years. I get about 5 years use out of each pair, wearing them on a daily basis, on boats, at work, around town and to church.

So I really like this shoe. The sole has more build on it. Boat shoes can start to hurt the feet once the back heel is worn. These might last longer. They look great in slacks and are fun to wear. Congrats on this addition to your shoe line.

I bought these at least 5 years ago at my wife's urging. I was reluctant because I thought they were a bit pricey. I now have no regrets. They are more comfortable as time goes by and have held up to heavy use. Buy them!
