I purchased these for my husband. The expense was a concern, but my DH has very bad feet and ankles. I worry about injury for him and find a supportive shoe to be cheaper than working through injuries. He has worn them for about two weeks and LOVES them. He said they are some of the most comfortable shoes he's ever worn. My husband walks a lot and is on his feet all day, so I'm glad he has something that feels good. I think they look very handsome. His still look brand new, but I do think that the boat shoe construction is prone to disintegrating just due to all the seams. Over the last four years, DH's gone through four pair of Sperry Topsider Billfish because at the one year mark we'd find a hole near the toe box. I don't know if these will do the same, but for now, the comfort level and beauty of the shoe has made everyone really pleased with the purchase.

Beautiful pair of shoes, very sharp looking, they look like million dollars and feel like 2 million. Well made and so comfy to wear.

I love the shoes, this tie my 5th pair of Sperry Gold Cup shoes. The most comfortable and long lasting, I would recommend wearing some sort sock. 5 stars.

Best casual shoe I have ever had. This is my 3rd pair in 7 yrs. They look nice and are very comfortable, require very little break in. Nothing like walking in a regular deck shoe or driver, much more support an comfort.

Spend the extra money, worth every penny! I am an instructor and on my feet all day. Remember the Zappos experience if they are on your feet you will keep, if not send back for free. Woohoo can't beat that deal.

My husband loves these shoes! They are comfortable and can be dressed up or down. I ordered his normal size but in a wide width as sometimes he is a wide. The regular width I had ordered had been way too narrow. The removable insole is comfy but it tends to "re-arrange" itself or come out upon removing the shoes. Putting foot powder in the shoes seems to help that.

This is my second pair. I've loved the first ones for several years. Very comfortable. I go walking in them often. Feet and legs don't get tired. They are well made and worth every penny.

My husband wears Sperry Top-Siders all the time - they are his favorite. He likes that they fit true to size, are comfortable, and wear well. He especially likes the Gold Boat style because they give his feet more support. They're his preferred shoes for traveling, too.

Great shoes and great service from Zappos! Probably my 20th pair of Sperry Top-Siders but first pair of the top of the line. Big difference in added comfort and quality workmanship. Very happy for my choice and glad I spent the extra money.

I bought a pair of black ones at a sale price through Zappos and I have been waiting for a sale on the brown ones so that I could buy another pair. I have enjoyed my black pair in spite of the in sole curling up. However, I feel that the price is too much and the sale price I paid for my black ones was reasonable.

These shoes are very high quality like all Sperry shoes. The insoles have plenty of cushion and support. I own the loafer style and they have lasted 7 years and are still going strong.

I just love my Sperry Top-Sider Gold Boat shoes. I have two pair and just ordered a third pair so I now have all that are made in this style. I must say they are with out a doubt the best shoes for all around wear that I have ever owned. I am now retired and dress casual all the time. Do your self a favor if you read this review and buy yourself a pair, you will not be disappointed.

Last month I purchased two pair of different color Sperry Top-Sider Gold Boat shoes. I also purchased a single pair about one year ago. After pretty heavy use, the pair from last year ripped between the sole and the upper on one shoe. These are otherwise such nice and comfortable shoes that I am taking a chance again hoping that the defect does not occur again. I highly recommend both Zappos and the Sperry Gold Boat shoe.

Well made, comfortable shoe. A bit stiff at first, but breaks-in nicely. Great look.

Great shoe, comfortable, could use a little more arch support (but I have that problem with most shoes), looks great and very well made.

These are great shoes - too bad Sperry discontinued them. Zappos service is second to none. Glad they had these in stock.
