These jeans are awesome! I bought the 36" x 36" for my husband who's 6'5" and he loves them. They are the perfect taper and are long enough for him to cuff which is what he wanted. I ordered 5 different styles of Levi's for him to try on and he liked the 521's the best. I sent the others back and ordered him another pair of the 521's in the Rigid color. And, at the price they're a steal!!

Let me start off by saying that these jeans are the most comfortable jeans, I've ever worn. These jeans have stretch and feel like you are wearing sweat pants, which is fantastic, IMO. Overall, I would definitely recommend these jeans with the caveat, if you like some stretch (through out the jean not just the waist) & taper in your jeans. I just wish there were more colors.

Favorite jeans now! These are great. They are tapered and have the slim leg, without the super low-rise top like most other slim fit pants. One thing though... they shrunk quite a bit when I washed them after about a month. Hang 'em out to dry y'all!!

These are the closest I have found to my ideal jeans. Nice taper, but not so tight the whole way up that I have to worry about bulges, if you know what I mean. As some others have said, these look best with sneakers. The only thing keeping me from giving them 5 stars is that the waist is strangely large. It feels like a size too big. I'll order another pair and see if it's just these or what --as is typical with Levis, I had another pair in a diff. style, and they were way too tight. So, eh. This one pair is great.

I have mixed feeling about these jeans. I love the taper to the legs, I love the color but I cant get used to the fit in the crotch area. Its hard to explain but it seems like these jeans are comprised of two different cuts.

These are great pants! I really like the way that they fit and they're perfect for cuffing. I usually rock these with some Vans and funky socks.

I had been unable to find tapered-leg jeans anywhere that would fit me. No brick-and-mortar store carries them. Online, one place advertised taper but sent straight leg and when I called them, they checked and found that they don't sell taper! My first set from Zappos in my usual size was too big, so I returned them and got some with 1 and 2 inches less in the waist, and those are fine.

I love these jeans and am very sad that the Rigid Envy version has been discontinued. They are super comfortable and fade perfectly. No manufactured ridges, no fake wear lines. I tried the other washes and they are nowhere near as nice.

Levi's 508's are the perfect fit for me. I am only sad that there are so few choices of colors. Zappos is amazing. Ease of ordering, fast delivery, good communication. I will be back.

Great slim jean for athletic build. If you need extra room in the seat and thigh, but don't want a loose fit, this is a good cut. Also, nice taper to a small leg opening. As others noted, the waist runs about 1 size larger than most jeans.

These jeans fit nicely, not too snug and not too loose. The stitching is light colored, but did not bother me, just different than thread that matches.

Yes! Exactly what I was looking for! Slim, modern fit but not tight (not tight in the waist, the crotch or the legs!). It seemed like other jeans I tried on were either Spandex-tight super-skinny jeans (which felt, oddly, like I was trying on my wife's jeans), or way too wide in the thighs and legs (what one might have worn circa 1998). I am a small, lean 41 year-old, and normally wear a size 30 or 31. Fascinatingly enough, both the 30 and the 31 fit...the size 30 is made-to-measure perfect, the 31 has a bit of extra room but still looks great.

I bought these pants for my boyfriend and he loves them. Usually he has to try pants on before he buys them, but these were a perfect fit. They have the look of a skinny jean but don't fit too tight in the seat and thighs. The denim itself is quite rigid but that is is another feature that he also likes. Fast delivery was a bonus!

Bought my firs pair of 508's at Kohl's to check for size an fit. Price at Zappos was way cheaper. Super fast delivery and free delivery.

My grandson loves the fit of these Levi's 508 Jeans. Unfortunately, I believe Levi's is discontinuing the 508's. They are the only style that fit him. I hope they come out with a newer version of these same jeans. The Quincy is his favorite color.

My son loves these pants and they are very hard to find except at Zappos! They are the best! I always get my packages the next day and the service could not be any better!

I have been wearing these three weeks and I love the 508s. The style I bought has dark/non-contrast stitching and fits a little looser than my 511s in the crotch and waist, but is still small enough in the leg to work well with cycling (pants leg can be easily rolled or folded for safety). I got multiple unsolicited compliments on these, which is not common for me because I am not a very stylish person.

I am medium to slim build (5'-8", 155lbs; typical jeans size 31w 30inseam) but I've been a lifelong soccer player and I have soccer player legs. None of the skinny jeans fit me lest I squeeze myself in and subject myself to jeans paralysis (like the snowsuit paralysis from "A Christmas Story") or order waist size that is two or three sizes larger just to let the thighs to fit. Enter Levi's 508 - generous around the thighs, yet with a noticeable taper that allows for a signature skinny fit look especially around the hem - perfect solution for my type of body. Also, availability in 29" inseam is perfect for my height since there is no need to roll up the hem and avoid the sloppy bunching up that takes away from the skinny jeans look. Overall very satisfied. I have 508 in Blue2, Quincy and Tumbled Merlin. A note about Blue2 - its dye stinks so you may want to soak and rinse several times before wearing it for the first time.

The Levis 508s are my favorite jeans on the market. They fit comfortably in the waist, with a very narrow taper below the knee. I own quite a few pairs, and the Rigid Envy is definitely the thickest material, especially compared the Rinsed Playa color (which is thinner and a bit more elastic). 508s are the perfect solution for folks who can't find a decent pair of pants that aren't incredibly baggy at the bottom and/or tight on the waist. As always, Zappos' shipping was fast!

I echo previous comments stating that these are great slim jeans for guys without skinny thighs (i.e., soccer players). They are fit, but not too tight, offering ample flexibility. Look great.

Great pants! Good fit for my son who has more of an athletic build to his thighs so skinny and slim fits don't work for him. Glad to have tried the 508. This gray color looks good, fabric is a little stiff but that might change in time.

I've owned dozens of different models of Levi's and none fit as well as the 508 on me. In fact, they're probably the only model of Levi's that has actually fit me great. Other models have either been too big in the legs or too tight in the waist, similar to how others have noted here. The only model that has ever come close to the 508 is the 513, although the 513 has a bigger leg opening and smaller waist (I have to size up with the 513, but not the 508.) I've literally been waiting on Levi's to make the 508 for 35 years and hope they never stop making them. My only gripe is that they need better colors and some heavier fabric weights. Note that these are not low-rise jeans. As noted above, the rise is 11", which is the same classic rise found on the 501. I don't know why Levi's calls it a low-rise jean, but it's not unusual for their descriptions to be wrong. That's great for me, because I don't like jeans with a low, or high, rise.

These are good pants. Modern fit, but not too tight in the seat & thighs like some of the other skinnier legged jeans. I've got several pair.
