I don't really wear heels and never something this high. The 1" platform really helps because the heels are actually only 3" high. Also, the platform blends with the heel very well, so they don't look trashy. A size 10 is usually a little small on me, and a 10 in this is almost a little big. I would say they maybe run a half size big. However, I am happy because I can add comfort inserts and not have anything squished. Also, being a little bigger gives room for my toes that may be squished otherwise. My only concern is that my toes area is a little smooshed, but I think a regular heel-wearer would have no problem. The toe is a rounded like an almond. The shoe in general is almost a tad bulky, which I love because I am curvy, and they balance my legs out a bit. I haven't worn them out of the house, but they feel much more comfortable than a normal heel. The actual heel is thicker at top and comes to a smaller (but not tiny) tip. I didn't find my ankles wobbly or anything walking around my house, and they usually are. The bottoms are a tad slippery on the wood floor. But for a perfect shoe, I can deal with scuffing up the bottoms before I wear them. I ordered the Gold Glitter color, and they are more of a blonde/champagne gold then a yellow gold, which I love. I wanted something like nude pumps but a little nicer for a wedding, and these are perfect. The glitter sheds a little but not nearly as much as I would expect. Also, I just got them so I am sure it will decrease in time. Still, it's not an awkward amount or anything. Also, I was worried about where I would be able to wear them after the wedding and although they are gorgeous, they aren't as "loud" as I would have thought. I could easily wear them with jeans and a black shirt for a night out. The almost nude tone of gold really takes them from loud to cute. I have a wedding in 8 days and will be wearing them for 10 hours (and dancing). I promise to update after!

Love them. Well, I will when the right pair gets here. I order the snake pattern and got home to the Exotic Black ones today. They were the right size so I tried them out. They fit very true to size, maybe a tiny bit big, but are they comfortable. I called Zappos and they are exchanging them for the correct pair, but now I have to wait another 4 days. And I may just keep the black ones too, you can never have too many black heels.

This is a really cute shoe. I bought them for Vegas and wore them 2 nights in a row. I loved them so much, I ordered the leopard print when I got home.

I ordered this shoe on Tuesday, it was delivered on Wednesday, and I wore them on Thursday. I got the red ones, and I love them!!! They are so comfortable and sexy! Great shoe... I will be ordering a second pair.

Sexy! But not stripper sexy. The color is beautiful. They were too tight in the toes, but for someone who doesn't wear heels, I would consider purchasing again in a half size larger.

Ordering shoes over the internet- very risky! But not with Madden Girl. My feet were made just for that company. I have never experienced a problem with style or size. The same goes with Zappos. Order them one day and I can wear them the next evening. And free shipping- huge plus. Very good customer service. I had a problem with my order and was able to "chat" on line and within a minute the problem was resolved. This style is super smart and sophisticated plus it has the best heel height- very walkable. Good stitch work all around shoe.

These shoes are great, they have the advantage of looking tall with the platform but aren't too hard to wear because the platform reduces the stress on your foot by 1 inch. I bought these in the Paris black which is a great finish; it's not flat but it's not the super shiny gloss that so many shoes are these days. It's a nice medium. I would say they ran slightly large, not even a full half size but it's nothing some foot petals won't fix. Zappos also gave me a free upgrade to overnight shipping when I called in to change my mailing address. Overall a great purchase and a great experience.

I ordered this in the black and snake (grey) in 8.5. Width was fine, length at least 1/2 size to long. The shoe itself looked great and would have been wonderful with everything from jeans to dresses. My guy loved them which is always a plus. It's the only shoe I've been inspired to send back for a smaller size. I returned for an 8 which was perfect length for me but the width was just too narrow for comfort (I do have a slightly wide foot). As ever Zappos is a winner!

This shoe is so pretty and comfortable I want to get it in every color it comes in. The shoe fit perfect to size and platform makes it very comfortable. The gold is so pretty and it looks great with a black dress!

I always try to read the reviews before purchasing, so I am putting in my two cents hoping it will help others when purchasing. I usually wear a size 6 and that was what I ordered and the fit is good. I got the black with the charcoal grey heel. They look very sharp! I really liked the variation of black and grey design on the platform and the grey on the heel. I wear heels all the time, but not platforms, so the only thing I noticed is that I did drag my foot a few times where the platform is. Sure once I wear them more I will get used to that. These are not your average black heels! Debating now about getting another color.

This shoe is amazing! First of all, you should know I cannot walk in heels. But these are so easy to walk in! The 1-inch platform makes a big difference. Secondly, they are just hot, plain and simple. True to size and totally comfortable. Might purchase in red. Get them!

I love these shoes! They are even cuter than they look in the picture. I had to run a bunch of errands after work and figured my feet would be killing me by the end of the day but they weren't sore at all! My only suggestion is to try to scuff the bottoms up a little bit before wearing them to go out. I wore them out to dinner right after I got them and felt (and looked!) like I was walking on ice in the restaurant.

Wow! The shoes are super cute. I really don't wear heels (being that I am 5'11) but I ordered these because of the reviews. They are easy to walk in and they are true to size. The only drawback I found was the ankle fit. The ankle is really loose and causes the shoe to slip off.

These shoes are sexy! I love the red platform and heel. I normally wear an 8.5 or 9 and ordered the 9. I probably could have worn the 8.5 because I'm sliding a little bit so if you are between sizes, I'd order down. The heel doesn't seem so high because of the platform and I walk comfortably in them.

I love this shoe! It's very stable due to the platform as well as fashionable! Suitable for a night out with the girls, or a day at work! The only con that I had was the bottom is a little slippery, but that can be fixed with non-slip resistant padding at the bottom!

These shoes are great. The combination of heels and shiny synthetic usually give me blisters, but I wore these (with opaque tights) to two long Halloween parties and I never once even thought about my feet! They did get pretty scuffed, but I was walking and dancing two nights in a row. For a regular special occasion/work shoe, these would be excellent and durable. I have narrow feet, and they slipped off my heels enough to notice (all shoes do for me), but with tights and a pair of no-show socks underneath the tights, they stayed on my feet great. Beautiful, comfortable, and vegan!

These shoes were bought for my daughter's wedding in October. Her two younger sisters wore the shoes and got tons of compliments on style and color!

Everybody just loves these shoes! I get so many compliments whenever I wear them. They immediately perk up everything I wear and are the most beautiful color red, not too pinkish, nor too brownish. They are very sexy without being trashy. When a friend of mine saw me wearing them for the first time, he said: "Your husband let you out in those shoes?!?" That was probably the best compliment yet! I bought these shoes to keep under my desk to wear around the office and the building. I think they will last for at least a year. They are incredibly comfortable as the heel is not that high at all, it just appears that way because of the platform. My only issue is that they are wide in the heel and I had to get those pads to put in the back so they would not slip off when I was walking. There is enough room for little foot socks too, or thick tights. I love the shape of these shoes so much, that I also got a pair in the taupe color, which is just as sexy, elegant and sophisticated.

I ordered these very cute shoes for a wedding and they had just about the fasted delivery! I got them in two days! Although I ordered my size, they must run slightly small or they are just narrow in the toe area because when I tried them on they were very uncomfortable. I would not be able to wear them for an hour let alone throughout a wedding. Very bummed because they are very cute! I recommend you buy a size bigger than what you usually wear.

These shoes fit OK, but where the platform attaches to the footbed, the glue is sloppy and looks rather cheap.
