These boots are extremely light, flexible, durable, and stain resistant. I've worn several different pairs of Red Wing, Merrell, Altama, Timberland, and Bates boots over all types of terrain (I'm a military veteran and outdoor enthusiast). These boots are by far my favorite. They're a little chilly in cold weather, but it's a trade-off with weight.

Loved it couldn't be any better but why you all fail to make enough large size know that they go that fast size 14 never fails to go first. You need to remember people with larger feet want to look good too Sign: Mike

I normally wear Converse All Stars "Chucks" and a variety of boots on a regular basis, these Palladium's are the middle ground between the two genres - a sneaker-boot if you will. A good friend bought a pair of the 'baggy' boot in canvas and I liked the styling so I decided to explore the Palladium product line and felt the baggy leather best fit my needs, hopefully being more robust and durable. I was a bit pensive about purchasing them due to the price compared to other boots in the price range these are a bit slimmer and more streamlined, seeming less "heavy-duty" but decided that I would let the company speak for itself through the boot. I purchased them in Chinchilla size 10.5 men's, when they arrived I liked the look and feel of the boot externally the build quality seemed good for the pair I bought. After trying them on for the first time I played with button and fold of the shoe for a little while deciding that I liked the flap down, currently the way I wear them, but they felt tight around the toes and due to the slimmer styling and leather material not being broken in, and I was unsure on which eyelet I wanted my laces to come out of I believe they came laced up to eyelet 4 after 3 days I moved them up to 5 a week and a half later the shoes began to loosen and after finally moving up to 6 (the highest you can go with the flap down) the Palladium's true fit and function really came through: Sneaker-boot fit can be worn loose or tight on my feet without compromising comfort. Vulcanized rubber / Leather construction feels sturdy and water "resistant." Toe cap and sole are rigid yet flexible, stubbing your toes will be unlikely. Versatile Style from work to leisure these shoes follow me everywhere. low or little arch support but good "foot support." Personally I prefer shoes that don't aid or support in balance too much, a flatter shoe gives a more natural posture and footing which is more comfortable to me. I can't say much for the long term durability as I only have had the shoes for a month, but so far there have been quite a few impacts and scrapes I am not taking any precaution in where I step or what I do with them on and they still seem pristine. I'm sure I'll buy more Palladiums in the future.

I really love these boots. They are very comfortable and get a lot of comments. They are really good motorcycle boots.

good boots. love the versatility. cuff em, or wear them all the way up. but I do like the canvas version a bit better.

LOVE these boots. I had a pair in black for 7 years before purchasing these (not because the black ones wore out, on the contrary, they are still going strong and more comfortable than ever) in brown as well. They are my favorite boots to wear in winter. I never worry about them getting dirty, wet or muddy as they just wipe clean. The treads are nice and deep and let you walk on ice and snow with confidence. I have much nicer looking boots in my closet, but if there is even a chance of inclemate weather or I'm just feeling casual, I put these on and I know my feet will be comfortable and warm no matter what the activity.

These are true to size, stylish and go with everything. Very durable, easy to keep clean and have received many compliments on them.

These boots are great. They are comfortable and warm enough to wear in cold weather. Order half a size larger.

First of all I would like to thank Zappos for delivering my product like they promise. Last year I place an order an order and my order came late they I proceed to call them and report this and they promise me I will get 1 day shipping on my next purchase and more then a year later they stayed true to their promise, you guys are awesome. These boots are great first pair I ever purchase and I'm surprise by how comfortable they are and especially stylish. I purchase them because their style but the comfort is way beyond what I had imagine would recommend.

This is my second pair of Palladiums, and I have not been disappointed yet. I have many different pairs of boots, but for every day use, these boots are my favorite. They are extremely durable, easy to care for, and comfortable. They are not the warmest when it comes to winter activities, but for most of the year, they are perfect. Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase and would recommend these to anyone looking for a comfortable, unique pair of footwear.

Talk about a great boot. Will probably buy another pair to get some of those canvas ones, or maybe the shearling ones. Seriously, I'm usually a very skeptical online buyer, but these were great!

I'm normally not a boot type of person but these are unique boots. They were light and flexible. They also didn't make my feet sweat which I don't have a problem with unless I'm wearing boots of some sort. This is my second pair and I will continue to buy more.

My first pair of Palladiums; as read on another review, I found these to fit true to size also. They took minimal break-in time and are lightweight. I would recommend to others. Zappos was a breeze as well.

Great boots, quality good, leather nice. Fit better than the waterproof version. In the end both my girlfriend and I ordered one half size larger than our normal Euro size. However, these do stretch after a little time. Ended up buying 4 different pair!

Not the most comfortable footwear, but I like the look of them enough to keep em. Very thinly made and the inner material is not soft against your foot. I can see these taking some time to break in, but right now they are uncomfortable. I won't be purchasing these again as I think the price is to high for what you get.

I truly loved these boots, but like the canvas "Baggy" Palladiums I had before them, they felt apart disappointingly easily. Neither lasted a year. I'm a bartender and wore them as my work boots so they certainly took some abuse, but I'd still expect better durability for the price. By the time I gave up and threw them in the trash the soles had worn so thin that my feet could feel the ground beneath them as if they were bare. I'd have tried to return them but knowing how rigid and unaccommodating Palladium is with their return policy (they wouldn't exchange my canvas Baggys when they burst apart at the seams after less than one year of use) I've just giving up on the company and trying other brands.
