Thought I had found the perfect jeans when I first tried these on! The Sky Blue is a nice light evenly colored super soft denim. The waist is lined with a great dark blue "bandana print" fabric and the rise & length were just perfect! They look & feel soft & lived in...like your favorite pair of go to jeans. So I put them on & wore them that day to do a few errands. As the hours ticked away they got bigger and bigger! By the time I got home, I could take them off without even unzipping them. So disappointed that they stretched out that bad!

I can't figure out exactly what happened with this Jean in "sapphire." I ordered 2 pair of the exact same Jeans. The "Sky" fits just as you would expect and the "sapphire" although labeled the same (size 12), is ridiculously small - so small they look like a pair of kids pants. I laid them on top of one another and laughed out loud. Unfortunately since I was looking forward to the darker wash.

These jeans run very small. Normally I have an 8 waist and 6 bottom, so order an 8. These were much too tight in the waist and a little tight in the legs too.

These jeans fit differently, and better, than other Levis I've bought recently. Levis seems to have been on a gap-waisted, too-short, super-stretch kick lately. These jeans have enough stretch to get into them, but then they don't keep stretching for the rest of the day. They're long enough that it doesn't look like I just went through a growth spurt. And they actually follow the curves of my hips, butt, and waist. I don't need a belt to gather all the extra fabric at the waist, which I usually have to do with jeans.

I got these in the 14(32) Sky Blue with Medium inseam. They have a not very if at all stretchy waist. It has a blue bandana in there. It seems ok, but if you eat and plan on sitting, it is not always forgiving. That is why I gave the comfort 4 stars. The waist can bind. The waist goes pretty high, but are not high waisted up to the belly button like others I have tried on. The color is perfect jeans color and look slightly worn in. They really made the rear view look amazing and if you don't have too much extra in the stomach, they will cover it nicely unlike some low waisted jeans. My husband pointed out that he didn't much care for right above the behind how the jeans are there. He thought that part looked funny, but I just cover it with a shirt anyways. The inseam of the medium is just long enough for my 5'5" curvy/pear frame. The price is good and they seem to have more jean material than similarly priced ones from Target.

These are my favorite jeans. I have much more expensive jeans, but these are the most comfortable and hold their shape well for hours. They have just enough stretch that I can move easily and my panties don't show when I bend over. Like another reviewer I went up from my usual size of 10 to a 12. I have curvy hips and a small waist and they move with me. Love it. They sit high enough that I don't feel like a mom with a muffin top and low enough that I don't feel like I'm wearing mom jeans.

I have a typical pear shaped body- small waist with a pronounced, round derriere. I have searched high and low for a pair of jeans that fit well and can hold up to wear and tear. For the last couple of years, I've been wearing NYDJ. They fit well; however, they're expensive, have a high spandex content, and remind me of 'Mom jeans'. I'm so pleased with my purchase of Levi's Womens 525 Perfect Waist jeans. They hug my round derriere without any gapping at the waist. They're are made of a nice grade of cotton and are only 1% spandex. So far they are really holding up well in the wash with little stretch. I like the styling much more than NYDJ. The waist band begins several inches below my belly button. The legs of the pants are nice and slim below the knee (good bye bootcut!). I've never written a review before. However, I am so pleased with my purchase that I thought I'd pass the word along to all the other "pears" out there.

These jeans are perfect, just like the name claims. I am so tired of low-rise jeans! They are not flattering. Period. Neither are the high-rise tummy-tucker jeans, plus I cannot breathe in those. These jeans are somewhere between low and high-rise, and have some sort of tummy-helping listed on their tag, but what makes them work so well is the wide waistband. And it is elastic! Only on the inside, but it works. There is no gap in the back. You cannot tell that there is elastic in the waistband. Not one bit. I only knew because I looked at the inside of the waistband and noticed a cute pattern, so I stretched it and thought - whoa, and thank you. These are going to fit great. I am 5'9" and 155 pounds. I went with a 10 and they fit perfectly. If you wear an 8 and it is a little tight, I would go with the 10 for sure. If you are lucky to have skinny thighs, then go with your regular size. Otherwise, size up and you will not be disappointed. Also, the denim is so soft! And the M length (I think it's 32) is perfect for flats or boots. I absolutely love these. I just ordered two more pairs in different colors because these are now my go-to jeans.

I'm 69. size 12. I like the fit of these jeans not to low but, low enough not to pinch upper waist when bending and sitting. Great fit in rear, all and all a buy...

I tried on a TON of different styles of jeans, and this turned out to be my favorite. The waist is higher rise without being the new "high" (which looks like a denim girdle to me.) Pants stay up but the waist doesn't create a muffin top. Straight legs look better on me than skinny legs (which make me look like a drumstick.) You can cuff these for a weekend casual look, or to be a little more fashionable. And the price is great! Only warning: like all dark wash jeans, the "blue" will keep rubbing off for awhile, so watch where you sit.

I am glad to see Zappos still carries this style. They fit me perfectly and are extremely comfortable. The color is a real dark blue (I haven't had any issue with color transfer - but Levi warns of this). I hope Levi continues to make this jean.

Love the jeans! The jeans fit perfectly and are comfortable. They match just about everything. They wash nicely. I dried them on low, no shrinkage or wrinkles! Definitely worth the price!

These jeans provide a great straight-leg look without being "skinny." I'm 65, but still don't want "mom" jeans. Size-wise I'm 5'5", 145 lbs. and got size 8M. I'm fussy about fabric content so I only bought the shades that were 99% cotton, Sky Blue and Sapphire.

These jeans seem to run a tad small so I had to exchange a 6 for an 8. (Which Zappos made extremely easy.) They remind me of the jeans I wore as a teenager. They feel like real denim even tho there is a bit of stretch. They fit well meaning I'm not constantly pulling them up all day because they've stretched out too much. I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for a real pair of jeans as opposed to the thin denim stretch sudo-jean that has flooded the market for the past umpteen years.

These jeans are perfect. They fit my apple shape with a short waist. They are spot on and they keep their shape after many wears.

Yep, these are the original perfect waist jeans, not the impostors which are circulating around lately. Great fit for curvy ladies.

Great Levi's. You can do anything in them they are so comfortable! The first pair were too big - returned no problems. You got to love Zappos!

They fit perfectly and are SO comfortable! I had to size down. I originally had a size 10 and they were a tad to big. The size 8 fits like a comfortable glove. (5ft 6, 135#). The Sky color is a buttery soft faded denim look. My new favorite pants!

These fit really well! They borderline on 'mom jeans' just because of the waist, but they fit really slim and the pockets are placed well, so they aren't at all 'mom jeans'. I actually love the higher waist to hind my muffin top a little. I feel good wearing them!

I thought the jeans were absolutely fabulous, the best. At first glance, I thought "too bad, a little small." Oh, no they weren't. The new technology makes it a perfect fit without being it being tight. Really!

As a forty-something, these jeans are perfect fit. They aren't too low and don't come up to my belly button. No holes, no weird faded spots. Not that they are "Mom" jeans...but they are good "Mom" jeans.

I have about 4 pairs of these jeans. I wear a size 6. I absolutely love these jeans. I am 56 years old now (I know, forget about it, how did that happen!). Sorry, I digress often. I have been wearing Levi's since I was a very young teenage girl. At my age these are perfect! I have a funny feeling that Zappos will discontinue these. I love Zappos. I beg you Zappos, don't ever stop selling these! If you do, I will have to walk around the streets without any pants! May I add, it won't be a pretty sight!

I'm 5'5", about 120 lbs. and the size 6 in these jeans fit perfectly. Just the right amount of stretch in these...this is my second pair!
