I opted for this toaster because I like my KitchenAid mixer so well. On the plus side, it toasts evenly, looks well designed, and seems a bit sturdier than most of the toasters on the market. The downside is that it takes longer to toast than the cheaper models I've had is the past.

I am very happy with this toaster. It looks beautiful on my counter, does a great job evenly toasting all kinds of breads, and I feel I will be able to rely on it for a long time. So far so good.

Toast is a big part of my life and it toasts very well. It's got nice features and the stainless steel looks great. I've had this one for a few months and I had the same one in white for years before it. I'd say it's definitely worth the price.

Each side can be programmed to different toast levels. The best toaster -- ever!

This a good looking toaster that does an excellent job of toasting a variety of breads. We love the controls and displays. Wish the slots were a little larger.

It is a very nice looking toaster, however it toasts much slower than I am used to, and when I looked for a cover for it it is so large no one makes a cover that will fit.

We love this toaster. It's can toast up to 4 slices including bagels. You can control how dark you want your toast. We love that it doesn't take much room and we love the vintage 50's feel it has with all the modern amenities. Highly recommend.

Love this KitchenAid Toaster. I got a red one to match our KA Mixer. This big boy toasts up all different kinds of breads and bagels with ease. Nice and even toasting, and I love the time remaining dealio. Thanks for great service Zappo.

We really liked it for a month. Then the toasting level on each side of the bread changed. The sides are not even and sometimes does not toast at all on one side.

Really liked the toaster and the speed at which it got to my house. The item is larger than I expected it would be so make sure you have a bit deeper of a counter to push it back when your done. It toasts a bit slower than other units I've had in the past or used and the lever to push the toast down is a bit tricky, it takes a bit of force to get it to engage at the bottom. The dials to change the temp are nifty and do a good job. Overall the unit's surface attracts a lot of smudges. But in the end, the toaster toasts.

We purchased the red toaster to match other sm appliances in kitchen. Toasting is relatively even, with the 2nd slice toasted in same slot needing a lower temp. to achieve the same result. Love the cancel button. Digital readout feature shows a visual of how much time is left. The toaster is well insulated and doesn't present a safety problem from heat. It's a little large, but does accommodate bagels and large bread, so it's size is necessary. The price was good, so there's a high value associated with this toaster. We'll see how long it lasts. So far, we're happy. We've killed two toasters in the last 5 years and we're tough on them. Time will tell how this one holds up.

I purchased this Kitchenaid toaster and like all their other products it worked as promised for two months. We have had a lot of Kitchenaid appliances both large & small and I will never waste my money buying their products again.
