When I ordered this tote I had hoped to like it a lot more. The size is good for travel either as a carryon or as a second bag for cosmetics, etc. But it just wasn't what I wanted. I really disliked the outside zippers on the top. It took me awhile to figure out they were to change the shape of the bag. When they are zipped, you have to unzip them to open the bag, after you open the main zipper across the top. Strange and not too practical if you want to get into the bag quickly. It is a typical Kipling... which is a very good thing. All of their products are well made and the zippers move flawlessly, and this one is no exception. Also, and I knew this in advance, there are only two handles, no over the body or shoulder strap. I had to return it as I would not have been comfortable using it.

I just got this bag and intend to use it for my carry-on for a trip to Europe. I tried packing it to see if it will work. I put in 3 each of socks and underwear, 2 shirts, 1 pair of yoga pants and a sweatshirt, small cosmetics bag, a small tote, camera and Kindle and it still comes in under the 13lb limit, there's still room and it's comfortable to carry. I'm happy with it so far and I think it will work. The zippers on top make it more compact, but I don't have a problem with them and you can leave them open if you want. Can't wait to use it!

I love this bag! The dark brown is stunning. I wanted a very large but not overpowering bag - this is it! And being Kipling - it is so well made and durable. Love the monkey (I ordered him a friend!). Highly recommended.

I ordered this in navy and I love this bag. It is lightweight and it is very roomy but not cumbersome. I will get a lot of use out of this bag

I love this bag! It is my go to personal item carry on when I travel because it is so large and has a pocket on the back that unzips across the top and bottom making it perfect to slip over a rolling suitcase's handle. It is a very durable bag as I have had mine for quite a while and it has gone on many trips with me and still looks like it is in new condition. The only downside is that there are not compartments on the inside. This makes organizing the bag difficult but it does allow me to fit a ridiculous amount of stuff in it. I can carry my laptop, makeup case, notebook, book, pencil case, a pair of shoes, 3-4 small pouches of items, tissues, my laptop charger, and I forget what else I cram in there, and it all fits no problem. If an organized bag is a must for you then perhaps this isn't the bag for you, but if you are looking for a large, durable bag then this definitely fits the bill!

I bought this bag because I was looking for a versatile bag that I could travel with (when on my own, or with the kids), I could take to the gym, or even throw in the back of the car with a bunch of random coloring books, crayons, dolls, etc when i had to take the girls to my sons soccer practice. It does it all! It is the perfect size, not too small, yet big enough to carry everything I need. it is not lined inside like typical kiplin bags, but it makes it more lightweight to stuff in a suitcase for an extra carry on bag for the trip and home since it is not lined. the two extra side zippers to make it smaller is a waste...you can not really close those zippers and access the inside of the bag or use the main zipper easily with it closed. I button down the ends of the main zipper to help compact it, and i usually keep it that way most of the time, but i do not zip up the two sides. And it works for me. I looked into the LeSport Weekender, and it was bigger,but too big for the versatility I wanted. I also looked at the Kiplin adar a medium tote and the itska, and both were either too small or too big. The only thing this is missing is a shoulder strap. Although I almost did not keep this bag because of the lack of shoulder strap, I am glad I ended up compromising on it, because it really does work for me.
