The initial size purchased, which was my standard shoe size, was too big and the return was simple and painless with a quick turnaround. The boot fit great right away and was comfortable and easy to wear. I only wish I had bought them sooner before warm weather came along so I could have worn them longer. Fall will be wonderful with this boot in my wardrobe.

I bought these boots and I'm so thankful that I did! The most comfortable boots I have ever owned and are probably the softest boots I've ever owned.

I have the Veronica boot but in tall and had wanted a short version in brown. These are perfect, I wore them all through the fall and winter. They're very comfortable and look great with everything! 10/10 would recommend

Got these for Christmas and wore immediately! So comfortable right away. I did not have to worry about slowly breaking them in for comfort at all.

I'm in love! (Boot-love.) Gorgeous scrumptious leather, simple chic styling, immediate comfort, great arch support - what more could a boot-lover want? Plus, I expect them to last for years! I've been wearing them all the time this winter and they still look great. After many years and many boots, I've finally found 'the one'! (Or, I guess, 'the ones', since they do come in a pair!)

I have two sets of these boots (different colors) and love them both! I wear them all the time and they have held up great over the years. Perfect fit around the ankle and come up to a good height. I wear them with skinny jeans all the time.

I've had these boots for about 4 years and hey continue to be the best pair of boots I have ever owned. I always have trouble finding boots that fit me right since I am petite and have thick calves. These were the perfect solution since they don't come up too high & don't make me look even shorter by cutting off half my leg. About to buy a second pair!

Love these boots! Very cute, well made, and comfy right out of the box. I usually get boots in size 10 to make sure I have enough room for anything other than super thin socks. Based on reviews I got these in 9.5 and they are perfect.

These Veronica Short boots (camel color) are my 2nd pair of a Frye boots. I tend to be a 6.5 - 7 in boots, and found that I was swimming in the 7's. I decided on the 6.5 and they fit me perfectly! These are excellently crafted, beautiful, soft, genuine Italian leather. They are comfortable, durable, and hip. You will not go wrong by purchasing Frye boots. I'm certain that the quality and craftsmanship will make my boots last for years. I now own two pairs of a Frye boots; these and the Veronica Tanker boots in black, and just bought a pair of brown (Cognac) chukka shoes. My next purchase will be the Veronica Combat boot. Can't wait! If you don't already own a pair of Fryes, then you must make a purchase soon, you won't regret it!! Thanks Frye!

I have been wearing these boots in black for 2 weeks now, and I love them. I tend to be an 8.5 or 9 in shoes, and I have found that 8.5s from Frye fit me well. They were a little tight around the arch for the first two wears, but they broke in perfectly. They seem to be a high quality leather, and have very high quality, tough soles. I highly recommend these boots.

I bought these as an early Christmas present for myself (yay me!). I love them!! They are very comfortable and go with everything. They have the perfect amount of slouch to them. They hit me just below my calf muscle. I am a 10 and they are true to size. They had slight heel slippage at first, but after about two weeks, they are perfectly broken in.

I love these boots. The black leather is supple. I ordered a 10 which is my true size except I wear 11 in running shoes. The boots fit perfect and have been comfy out of the box. It was easy to slip in but I don't feel too loose in the foot. I have another Frye boot with a back zipper and these are way more comfy as I find the zipper irritating at the end of the day.

Fits like a glove right out of the box. I bought a size 8 ( I'm an 8 1/2 in the Billy and the Jackie and 8 in the Harness.), put them on and never looked back. Wore them all day, walked 4 miles, no issues. Love how soft they are. Buy them you won't regret it.

I got these as an early Christmaspresent and love them. I've gotten so many compliments. Many reviews suggest getting a size up. I got mine in my size and they are a perfect fit.

This is my 4th pair of frye boots. I've been pretty consistent in wearing an 8 but these were a little small in the tie box like others mentioned. I literally have no room to spread or fan my toes. Forget a thick sock. I'm having to exchange them, that being said, I'm reordering them in a more relaxed comfortable size. I recently also got the campus 14L boot thinking the leather would be more relaxed and slouchy but they weren't. These definately are! The upper part looks structured in the picture but they are definately more like a broken in mushy buttery soft leather handbag. Lots of calf and ankle room for a pooling effect. The lower portion is more structured for sure, but still allows your foot to bend. I'm just bummed I have to wait another week or so to get my new ones.

It's the perfect little everyday boot. Thsee boots will travel!
