Great winter hat for outdoor sports! I use this hat primarily for outdoor winter running and love it! The wool keeps my head warm over the long miles and sweat from dripping in the my face or down my hair. The longer shape is cute and comfortable. I have another Smartwool beanie that I love, happy to have a second!

I love Smartwool products, and I really want to love this Beanie, but it is just too small and tight! It is one-size fits all, but definitely built for small heads. My head is XL, and no matter how I stretch the beanie, it is just too tight. And my 12 year old son says it is too tight for him, too. In fact, the only one it fits comfortably is my 6 year old. So, if you are a 6 year old, you will get to enjoy the softness and wonderful moisture-wicking properties of this Beanie. Otherwise, it makes a nice mitten.

I got this hat as a last minute X-Mas gift for my brother, and he loves it! Super-warm, and super-soft! And because I bought it on Zappos, it was delivered faster than Santa!

I like Smartwool because their socks, hats, etc. Are not scratchy. This hat is lightweight yet warm.

This beanie hat is incredible warm and lightweight! Natural wool can be harsh on the hair when worn often; the smart wool is soft and comfortable. Feels great on my head!

Very good beanie, thin yet warm. I use it underneath my bike helmet, and it fits perfectly, not bulky at all.

Light weight and perfect for under a bike helmet. Every time I lose it I buy the exact same replacement. Only feedback is that I wish it didn't have a tag inside. Soemtimes I want to switch it up and wear a different color- but the two toned hat isn't reversible because the tag on the inside
