My Dad is really grateful for these. He lives in Colorado, and I decided to but these for him...because it never occurred to me that snow boots existed. I live in Atlanta now, but he called and left me the sweetest voice-mail about how amazing they are. He said it dropped to 1 and he decided to wear them. He couldn't believe how great they were. He said the fur is very warm and the grip was incredible, that he felt bad for everyone slipping while he walked around normally. My Dad is particular about clothing items (strictly because I'm a woman, he doesn't trust my style). I have gotten lucky with watches and shoes. He's happy, warm and safe; and I'm glad these boots contributed to it.

Originally purchased in late September and had to get replacements by December due to the heels splitting. Exchanged for a fresh pair (free thanks to great Customer Service) only to have the new pair's heels also split in much the same fashion. Returning the second defective pair now. Will not buy again.

I LOVE THESE BOOTS! I have blown ligaments in both knees, which makes it very painful to stuff my feet into tall winter boots, so I was looking for something shorter, with a zipper, so I could get my foot in easily, with less pushing, and then zip it up, and I found them. They're light and easy to walk in and more comfortable than I would have imagined, especially for new shoes. I had to hike all over the property the other day looking for a calf, and there was no discomfort at all. I'm totally impressed. The only drawback is that I won't be able to wear them in deep snow or ankle-high mud (there's no gusset on the zippers), but for those days, I still have the tall boots. For every other day, I have these. I couldn't be more happy with them!

Wearing these for the first time today. Fit and finish seems good. I normally wear 11.5 eee in dress shoes, I ordered 12 we in this boot and it's great fit.

My husband loved them! He wears 12.5 or 13 4E usually and we have trouble finding shoes that fit. He said they fit comfortably and were wide enough.

Quality was good, I had to order a full 1 1/2 size larger than I normally wear. The soft padded insert won't stay in show. I am going to do with a Dr. Scholl's insert to see if they work better. Boots are very comfortable.

Hard to fit and please husband was very happy with these.

Disclaimer: I'm a woman with extremely wide feet, so it's hard to find shoes that fit. These are exactly what I was looking for. They are comfortable and warm. I can't speak to their durability, but they have held up well in the first few weeks of snow and ice and slush.

I've only worn these boots once since, the snowstorm that caused me to order them was long gone by the time they arrived, but I did wear them for a full day. I'm glad I chose these wide boots which were warm and comfortable for my E width feet. They look quite nice but you should be aware that they are not leather boots. I hope they will be easier to maintain than my old leather boots were.

So far, these seem to be a real winner! My teen son loves them. Even wears them without socks, ala Ugg style, and says they keep him toasty warm and dry. Winter practicality, great price. Small enough for daily wear, most boots are just too oversized. These are great. Say wide width, but seemed average to us.

Like most other reviewers, I had searched for a side zip boot that looked good. I like these a lot, and there was room for my orthodics. I ordered up one size to have room for orthodics and they fit fine. I do think they are a bit narrow for EE.

Very pleasantly surprised at how good these boots are. From the price and some reviews I didn't expect too much, and when I got them I thought they may have been a waste of money, but using them now during the very cold and snowy Ohio weather we're having I find they are great. Very comfortable, and amazingly warm. These were a really good buy and I'm very glad I got them from Zappos. I use them as work boots for working outside in the snow for several hours at a time and even though they seem thin, they keep my feet very warm. No more cold toes! Easy to put on and take off with the zipper sides. I am very happy I bought these boots last fall in preparation for this winter, it was money very well spent.

The boots were for my 11 year old, who has a very wide foot! He reports that the boots are comfortable and wide enough. Also nice and warm in our visit to MN.

This is a nice product. We live in a pine forest with a lot of snow and my husband slipped right into these and has been wearing them since.

I looked long and hard for a side-zip waterproof leather boot. These are perfect! The are designed wide, which worried me, but in the end they are perfect. I wear an insole for arch support, so the size ended up working just fine. Fleece lined, warm, and very comfortable!

I normally wear a 9 1/2 WWW shoe, I ordered these in a size 11 because I had heard that these boots ran small. The size 11 fit good, but I have to wear thin socks, I prefer to wear thick sock with my boots normally.

The price was right...other boots of equal quality costs twice as much. Side zipper very convenient for taking boots on and off. Will help make vacation to Sapporo Snow Festival warm and comfortable.

Bought these in the event of a winter storm. Haven't had one yet in our part of NC. Wearing these around the house feels good. They are comfortable and warm. They meet my expectations so far.

I bought a pair of boots similar to this a couple years ago under the "Tote" or Totes" brand. I tried to make the best of them, thought maybe they'd fit my foot better with a little break in. That didn't work and then I learned the material may be waterproof but the zipper isn't so it's like having a waterproof shoe, not a waterproof boot. I threw them in the back of a closet and didn't even wear them last winter. So when I got these "Abe" boot I thought they looked familiar. Other than no Totes label, they are identical to the last stitch. I sent the Abes back. In Zappo's behalf, they gave me return shipping and a refund.

First of all, this is strictly about the shoe and is TOTALLY separate from Zappos-- my favorite on-line shoe, etc store. I admit, I was a little leery about purchasing a pair of $60 boots but after reading the reviews AND watching the video I felt comfortable with my decision to take a chance. Short story shorter, I might as well have thrown out the window. After wearing them a full day this defining crease developed right across the front of both shoes that made them look years old, unattractive, cheap...the very thing the video "seemed" to have shown would NOT happen. If you want to use them for yard work or shoveling snow...ok, why not. But if style and appearance is important to you in a shoe-- they come HIGHLY UN-RECOMMENDED!

The inside fur/warm lining makes the actual size a little small, but they fit him good. He likes them.
