Excellent boot. Fit perfectly (9D) in all dimensions. The boots slide on much easier than those being replaced. I'm no cowboy, but I appreciate the comfort of this style of boot. In addition, the "trucker's sole" was a very welcome aspect.

I love they make this boot is in my size, 14; I love the color, comfort and style. I am glad I took a risk and ordered these boots. I haven't loved a pair of boots or shoes like this in a long time. I am just proud, very proud and I want another pair.

They are smart looking cowboy boots

Aside from the typical Western (cowboy) break-in time, these will require about 30 days before they get really comfortable. I bought these because, in my old age, my foot stopped bending far enough in the forward direction and getting regular boots on was a chore. Wore me out before I even left the house. These side zipper ankle boots, make getting them on and off much, much easier. The boots are beautiful right out of the box. Quality stitching and that authentic Western look is a plus for me. Whether I'm wearing my favorite jeans or my Sunday dress trousers, they just plain look good. I wish that they made those back zipper full-size Western Boots for man like they do for women. But I appreciate these very much. Highly recommend these for men having the same problem as I have, had!

Really good looking, super comfortable, and easy to put on. Wear high socks to keep the tips from rubbing your shins/calves.

All boots need some breaking in. I am in that process now. Taking my time a little each day. My time spent with Zappos has been a good one. They are helpful. If you need them, they are there to help. Better than most with a true sense of interest I believe.

After reading the reviews on Zappos I decided to go ahead and order these boots. They are every bit as advertised and I'm thrilled with them. The shine and thinness that the picture seemed to portray made me think twice; however, upon receiving them I was pleasantly surprised - quality through and through. You cannot tell that they are a half-boot and they can be worn with khakis or jeans, and they are absolutely comfortable. So, if you want a boot that is inexpensive, yet well made and attractive, you have all of that in the Laredo Long Haul.

I work in a semiprofessional office environment and my role is primarily customer facing. When I first saw these on the site I was impressed with the overall conservative appearance. I was hesitant to buy these because of the name (long haul) not that there is anything wrong with that, but not for my office environment. However, I was able to set the name aside and make the purchase. I was really impressed with the look and the fact that they are side zipped boots. I bought these last week and received them yesterday. I wore them in the office today and was really impressed with how they complemented my button down oxford and khakis. They were really quite comfortable. The rubber sole was actually more comfortable than the traditional cowboy heel. I think this is due to the fact there is more give when you step down on the heel as compared to a leather stacked traditional cowboy heel. My initial impression of the leather outer shell of this boot was the material seemed to be faux leather, or man-made, but that was not the case. After about 2 hours of wear the leather actually began to break in. This really impressed me because it indicates a good quality leather. Overall I have been very pleased with this purchase and will probably be purchasing the black color next. I just wish they have a different name, rather than Long Haul.
