I realized that I need a taller boot. My legs are rather thin for this boot to look good with dresses and skirts. The boot is awesome for jeans.

Great boots. Comfortable, cool look. It does need to get broken in at first, but once you do fit is terrific.

Beautiful boots but unfortunately they were too small for my size 11 feet. My toes hit the end and I had to send them back.

Beautiful boot! Soft leather! I really like Eric Michael styling. Unfortunately the fit is too tight in the toes for me. I wish they provided wide widths. And a little more arch support would be a bonus!

For the price, I was very underwhelmed with these shortie boots. The height is not adjustable as the leather is all pre-sewn in the slouch style so you cannot adjust how the slouch goes up or down. The color is actually a dull, grayed brown color that is moderately unattractive. The boots actually are loose like a bucket style at the top when on despite how the picture makes it look like a fitted slouch boot. The backstrap does not adjust to tighten at all, so is simply for looks. It does not allow cinching to tighten the boot against your leg. I feel that these boots are worth about considerably less for what they are. I wish all boots were as comfortable as the Born B.O.C. brand's soles are. I think if you found these on serious sale and rubbed them with chocolate shoe polish and shoe oils to enliven the color they would be workable for every day with the right ¾ length orthotic arch support insert which is what I plan to do. I also plan to have a local leather artist make new straps that have more snaps and are shorter so they fit closer to my legs.

I've been drooling over these boots since last winter and finally decided to purchase them. I'm sad to have to send them back. The boots are very narrow and squeezed my foot just enough and in just the right places, to where they were uncomfortable. Unless they make a wide size I don't think going up one size would help. I never bought or worn wide shoes. I'm also a little bummed about how they looked. Maybe after some wear they would look better.

VERY COMFORTABLE. Slips on and off with ease and is super comfortable. No breaking in needed. The lining inside the boot is soft and warm. However, please note that these boots are a lot shorter than whats pictured; I would say they are more ankle length boots then calf length boots. And for those who order the tan colored boots and there was no darker stain on the toe as in the picture. My boots in tan came looking a lot lighter in color than whats pictured but overall they are soft, comfortable, and wear well.

Really cute but other viewers are right, it runs big, order a size smaller than normal size, and agree brown color not as pictured, picture looks better but still cute. They feel super soft inside and feel like they wouldn't be hard to break in.

I really like the way these boots look with my straight jeans tucked in. Color is nice. I have wide feet but have plenty of room in these so the medium width I would say runs a little wider. There is not a lot of padding in the insole so I will need to get some inserts but they are too cute to return for just that reason. Zappos, of course, awesome as always.

Cute shorter boot. I get a lot of compliments on them. I can wear my jeans tucked in, with my pants untucked and with my leggings; pretty versatile! The leather is super soft; the boots are easy to put on, They run a tiny bit bigger, but then I can wear good socks with them. I wish the toe was just a tad more pointed to give it a more dressy look. I agree with another reviewer: for the price of the boot, I wish it had a stacked heel and leather sole, too.

I really wanted to love these boots. Online, I thought I had found my perfect pair: short, black, slouchy, chunky but not clunky, not too casual either, a good price. However, when I received them I just wasn't in love. I wish the leather wasn't as smooth and shiny, it made it seem a little cheap. Ditto the rubber sole/heel. While comfortable, I think stacked leather looks classier. The super soft lining on the inside was really nice, but the length was so long. I normally wear a 9.5, and went for the 40. While it was the right width, it was really long so made my feet look even bigger (not a feature I want to highlight). Based on the photos, I bet the brown color would look better. I'm going to try the Frye Veronica Shortie next to see if that's closer to what I'm looking for.

The brown color is not even close to the actual color of the boot. The boot is really more of a baby poo greeny brown, very unattractive! Really a shame cause this is a great boot - have it in black and love it!

Too small to put my feet inside the boot. So tight. I need to have it in 12. I am disappointed. These are not ideal for size 12!

Sent me a 39 in the 40 box so these were returned. Just tried to reorder and they are sold out of 40. Not cool. Feels like a trick.

I bought these boots in black (size 6) about 7 years ago and they are my favorite go-to look, so I bought them again in “brown” a few years back but was disappointed in the color not being a darker, rich brown (and returned them). Well I got over it and purchased these a few weeks ago because, well, they are just so easy to wear. They pair well with slim jeans tucked in, flared pants, and my favorite - long and short dresses. They are very comfortable right out of the box and as my black pair are still looking great, I expect to have both pair for many many years. I still wish they were a better brown color, but they still work with my outfits, and I love the style and versatility of these boots.

I didn't like the leather finish on these - they were too polished and stiff, and therefore felt synthetic to me. I like slouchy, and buffed soft leather better than polished. so I returned

Beautiful boots -- I wear a size 4 so these were a bit too large for me.

I normally wear a 9.5 w/ a foot width bordering on wide. I ordered 39 & 40 sizes and will keep the 40 size. The “fur” lining isn’t very thick which I’m glad of. Slipping on the boot w/ size 40 is much easier than 39. They are a rich cranberry red color and a great quality shoe. I’m hoping they will be comfortable & warm walking around Paris in the Winter.

They are so cute and fit perfectly. Also very comfortable.

I love these boots and stranger have stopped to tell me how much they like them! The red color is great but it does get scuffed. I’m having trouble finding red shoe polish for them to cover the scuff marks. Can anyone help?

Great boots. true to size. I really like the look and heel height is perfect for comfort. They’re a little tricky to get off with no zipper but that’s the only negative.
