Such an adorable boot! Taking the advice of other reviewers, I went with the 39, as I'm a 9N. I loved that first pair, which had, as the description says, "Soft leather and textile lining wick away moisture leaving the foot cool and dry." They were too small, so I ordered a replacement pair, size 40. These fit, but the boot is a different quality: leather is stiff, and there's no textile liner inside. Already the glue holding the sole on is giving way, so I know they wouldn't hold up for long, and they bend uncomfortably in the toe box. These are going back, and I'll continue my search for the perfect pair.

Returning as they are WAY smaller than they should be and there's no way I can wear them. They hurt just trying on. Very disappointed.

Could not get my foot into these boots as others have noted. They are too narrow at the top and in the heel for your foot to get inside. I’m an 11/size 42 so maybe it wouldn’t be an issue with smaller feet but this has never been an issue for me with any other boot so I was very disappointed especially at this price point.

Not sure what is going on with the "sizing". I cannot even get this boot onto my foot and I've worn the same size boot for years.

I am between sizes 8 1/2 and 9. The 39 fit ok. However, at first glance these boots looked nice. Upon examination, the look so cheap-if this is real leather I’ll eat my hat. They are too shiny and seem to be bonded to a slick, nylon, furry, uncomfortable lining. Riding in warm weather these would be a nightmare. They do not look nor feel like real leather, even bad quality leather. For $200 they are a HUGE disappointment. If you are used to high quality boots like Frye, you will not like these. They look cheaply made! Even the stitching looks stamped on, not actually sewn. I am def returning.

This is NOT leather. I've had faux leather shoes with a much better quality. It's plastic. Didn't even try them on. I ordered them based on the great reviews and ended up ignoring the ones that said that these weren't leather because they were in the minority. They were right. Not even close to leather. If you go into payless (if they're still around), you'd get a better quality shoe. Ugh! Really wanted them to work.

I can’t believe someone would charge nearly $200 for this boot. It is the quality of a $40 boot. The heel is stacked rubber, and the stitching and pins on the bottom are fake! No traction to speak of either. The fit was weird, too. I have never had a problem with shoes being too narrow, but these are in the toes. Some people said to size down, but I would have needed to size up.

This pair of boots showed wear upon arrival, and did not even come in the original box. This is not acceptable to me.

Cute, but, as others have experienced, I could not get my foot into these boots, even with the straps opened and tryiing them on with nylon kneehighs. Bad design.

I could not even get these boots onto my feet, despite ordering what the site says is my size. Too bad, because I love the look of the boots. If you're debating going up a size, you probably should.

I have NEVER ever had a problem like this before. I couldn't get my foot down into the boot! Even if I undid everything! It was as though the distance between the top of the boot and the back of the heel were too short or something, not taking into account the (normal) size of a foot when best. This is 150% the correct size for me. In every single other shoe or boot I've bought since 1988. So, back it goes.

The grey is more of a green/grey than true grey. Very disappointed in the color.

I received these boots today and I must say I am very disappointed. I ordered the black pair and the first thing I noticed what how cheap the leather looked and felt. It was very shiny, stiff and plastic looking. I went to try them on and I was shocked to discover I couldn't even get my foot in past the first strap! I wear a size 10 which is what I ordered and based on most of the reviews I read, I was afraid they were going to be too big. I'm wondering if the pair I received is defective since the shaft is so slim. ??? This is one of the worst boots I've ever had the misfortune of purchasing and I will be sending them back tomorrow.

I love the color of these shoes but they are impossible to get on as they don't have a zipper. I actually could never get my feet into them so I had to return them.

I must return these beautiful boots as they are way too small. I have a large instep and I could not even get my toe past the heel of the boot. I thought because of the slouchy top, it would give more room, but these are just too small.

Run small! The 42 is more like a 41. If you wear a 12M, don't waste your time/purchase these. Yes, they are cute, but they run small! Plus, without a zipper opening or anything to grab ahold of to help get the boot on, it's very difficult to even try on. Especially if you're true size 12. This pair was fur lined. Super disappointed!

Really cute and comfortable boots. However, I wore them for 5 months and they are already falling apart. The soles are coming off and there are holes in the bottom. Not so awesome for this cost of boots.

These boots look tough and cool on the web page, but they are not. And they do not run small. I am a size 8/39 in everything but I read the reviews and ordered down--no way will my foot ever go in that boot. The hunt for the perfect boot continues.

Such cute boots in person, but so, so narrow through the shaft and upper instep, I can't get my foot into either one to even see if they fit. Desperately need a zipper, plus pull tabs or loops. So frustrating. I wonder if the proportions are more realistic on the smaller sizes.

Picture shows a nice warm brown color, but the boot itself is an unattractive gray brown. Leather has a slick surface that looks shiny and plastic-y, not consistent with the casual style of the boot.

I was incredibly disappointed by these boots! I initially thought Zappos sent me the wrong pair. The boots look extremely cheap like big box store knock-offs. They also have a weird faux fur/plush lining that I did not expect. Definitely sending these back.

I really liked these shoes and found them really comfortable, but after a half day of wearing them one of them stretched out like crazy at the top. It almost looked like I was wearing two different shoes. I'll sadly be returning them based on this.
